Duncan had entered cackling and insane as he usually is. The one class he signed up for, and a classroom full of shmucks filled the room, along with this guy. He was wearing gloves, as he usually does. "Heya teacher man! I'm here to learn..... well, whatever it is you're teaching in this hole" he said, holding his hand out to shake the teacher's hand.

Wing hurried into the class, a little out of breath. She was lost on her way to class yet again, and that delay made her behind schedule. She glanced over at who she assumed to be the teacher, and asked apologetically, "Sorry, did class start already? If so, sorry, I got lost alone the way." Without awaiting for an answer, she bowed slightly, and proceeded to find a seat near the front.

Emma entered the classroom ,and since she is in quite a good mood for a change, she opted to greet the professor. She looked at him and stated, "Emma Gale, alive and account for." Yes, her way of greeting is odd, but then again, her entire persona is odd. After she has finished her greetings, she took a seat near the middle of the classroom for a change. Before she sat down, she again went to straighten her uniform out of habit.
Why exactly was she in a good mood? Well, the custom duel disc that she had ordered has arrived, and it looked even better than she had expected. That, and she was recalling the duel she had with her cousin as well. It's good to see that he still is good enough for her to admire. Going through her thoughts, Emma finally started getting ready for the class.

Ethan sighed. So many idiots and people who thought they deserved better than anyone else...it really pissed him off. The obelisks he could tolerate, almost all of them earned their way in, himself included. And there were some Ra Yellow students that knew their place and wanted to move up the ladder. That was fine too, if they have the skills they should be rewarded. No, the people who made Ethan worry were the idiots in the lower two houses that thought that everything should have been delivered on a silver platter because they requested it to be so. There were only a handful of people who could get away with that...
And speak of the devil, here came one of those students now. The Gale girl...her brother was the assistant headmaster, so obviously she did have some pull and her grades possibly could have been fudged a bit to make sure she'd get the best, but she didn't treat people like her personal slaves...except maybe the slifers, but hey, if they want to get out of that doghouse, they gotta prove they belong elsewhere. It's just how the world works.
Still, when the teacher asked for a summary, he felt obliged to divulge some information. "I'm Ethan Spenser from Las Vegas in the US, and anyone familiar with the city should know what my deck is centered around."
There. Enough information to satisfy the teacher, not enough to give away his entire decklist. It went back to a saying one of his father's friends always said... "When you're Fortune 500, you need any edge to get ahead. When you're Fortune 100, you need any edge to stay there. Any edge."
While Ethan wasn't too keen on taking any edge, he was certainly not going to give information for the sake of being friendly. Although he did nod at Marvelo and Matt as he saw them come in.

Matt had been vaguely registering everyone that had introduced themselves, although his mind as still somewhere else. Most of the students had generic decks anyways. The ones he did take note of, however, was Xenneth's Nurse Reficule and the professor's decks. He'd have to duel them sometime before he graduated. Yet, what really caught his attention was the introduction of one person.
"Emma Gale, alive and account for."
Matt's eye twitched a few times at the name. Emma Gale. Gale. VAHN GALE! As if one wasn't bad enough, how was he supposed to keep his sanity with two of them around? He turned his head to look at the female, trying not to turn quickly so his hair wouldn't fly everywhere and make a scene. She didn't seem nearly as cocky and domineering as her relative. After Ethan had introduced himself, he stood up.
"Matt Hirama, Chaos and Quillbolt." he said to the class. He really wasn't in the mood to care whether or not people knew his decks. Between his date on Friday and the appearance of a second Gale, Matt had more than enough on his mind, outside of class anyways.

Jame shook the hand offered to him and it popped out. Jame didn't seem very startled as much as ammused, even when Duncan yelled "Oh God my hand!" and then pushed out his real hand and said, "just joshin.'"
Jame smiled and said. "A class Clown." The words Class Clown were in English. "I'm fond of clowns, so how about you sit right up here," Jame said tapping the desk closest to his own desk. "Right where I can keep an eye on all your antics."
After that Jame listened intently to those that did speak, giving positive comments to them. For instance Ethan got the comment, "Vegas eh? Wonderful place. Funded my trip here in fact. I look forward to seeing how it effected you."
And Wing had gotten a reply of "you aren't late. We're just getting to know each other before class starts. Optional of course."

In English, Duncan responded to Jame's comment "Thank you, I'll be sure to make you damn proud!" he said, cackling and skipping merrily to the seat assigned to the professor. This was something that wasn't bothering him, he didn't care where he sat. Hell, even the confiscation of his fake hand didn't matter to him. Since he had an arsenal of pranks in a closet, he had plenty more where that came from. And the best part was, he would mail in for pranks thanks to a catalog. Despite being an Osiris, he has never skipped classes and this is going to be his final year. He wanted to go out with a bang. With the Jaw of Anubis in tow, he was going to make sure of that.

So far there was late, late, and more late, plus there was one who was already branded as their official class clown. It made Xenneth’s right eye twitch slightly seeing some of the students were so enthusiastic as well as some so familiar with a simple glance. It seemed everyone had already become fast friends outside of the class while others had just asked for trouble such as the Slifer Red student who stuck out because of his circus act of traits; a more simple way of calling him a clown it was, but the violet haired boy had nothing against him seeing that he could not judge people with his lack of self-esteem. He knew however not to trust those type of people. It was on his laundry list picked up from his High School next to aggressive bullies who needed a target for the year.
That was one bothersome year for him as well.
That aside, he could only watch as the teacher specifically designated the young man a seat after a set of words was exchanged in a foreign language. His father originally from Europe, his mother from Egypt, he could only speculate what was possibly said, but not lock on, but from the context clues from what he could hear from his distant seat, he knew it was not good, especially with the response given back to the teacher. His attention turning seeing the arrival of one young woman, then another, and perhaps one of the grumpiest young men he ever seen wear the Obelisk uniform; it was a sure sign to keep perfectly to himself. He felt like a vulnerable rabbit trying to void of eye contact so he would not signal to become prey. There were so many familiar personalities that he would rather not familiarize himself with them, but just keep to himself and do something that would let his mind wander like tap his pen across his thick pocket portfolio’s surface before letting his mind register to open it and turn to the sorted section where he would write his first notes for this class separate from his Medical Files and Notes.
The Duel Academy parts of his Notebook were empty seeing this was his first class that actually had to do with dueling. He did not honestly look forward to it seeing that he was not one to explore a wide range of duel monsters. The fact that he had Nurse Reficule’s card had set his mind to what kind of deck he would use, and the monsters beyond that deck that were hideous and ugly and wouldn’t add for nothing in the world because of their destructive nature was beyond him. He was quite the character, the heads of the DA Committee said so themselves after all. Letting his eyes drift, he still tried to think, even now, if that was perhaps one of the biggest insults or the biggest compliment to sum up his overall self.
Seeing he was not the most interesting person to be around, he had a pretty good idea of how to brand himself. Sighing with sad blue heavy eyes, he had tossed his lead pen’s end with a push of the nose down and tapped in a constant rhythm somewhat impatient with the hours going by in the day. He was more than ready to get this class over with, but that it seemed difficult with all of the constant late arrivals and students that were yet to introduce themselves even upon request. This was a different type of madness, the common school madness that he tried to not get dragged into for his sake to not end up with the wrong crowd. They wouldn’t be a bad crowd, but just…one that was most likely not accustomed to seeing he was not exactly the best conversationalist, but the idea pushover.
Four years…just four years. That’s what he told himself. [/size]

Will was late.. and he knew it.. or at least he thought he knew it. It didn't matter, the point was that he missed his alarm clock that alerted him to class. and he was running.. REALLY running. Totally unlike him. That said, it took a few more turns before he made it to the door, and nearly skidded to a halt, trying to control his breathing to make his image. Well, kinda.
Will for once was just wearing his normal uniform, and sun glasses, so his untidy hair was expase, as well as the rest of his head. The glasses, to be honest, he couldn't quite take them off yet.. mostly due to habit, and it was honestly a little bright today.
Having calmed down, he took a step into class, and bowed to the teacher. "Sorry I'm late." he said, walking to the back of the class... when he stopped. He remembered what happened in his last class, and what Mizuki-chan said, and then nodded his head, taking a seat not in the very middle, but by a window, in the middle rows. No more back seat for him.

Her glasses laid on her dresser at home because she could not wear them. Unlike some people, she had no choice but to wear her contacts. She had the clear contacts in her eyes and her eyes looked far smaller then usual... which was actually an improvement since with her glasses they looked unnaturally large. She was garbed in the Ra Yellow uniform and she had her bookbag over her shoulder along with two textbooks in her arms. She was taking everything this semester instead of letting herself have some free time. She was bound to burn out that way but she didn't mind.
She walked into class with brisk steps and realized that she wasn't late. She hadn't ran because if she had, she was enough of a klutz that she was likely to break her ankle. She took a breath and realized who was there. She stared straight at William and stood in the doorway, just gazing upon him for a moment. That wasn't her normal spot... but it wasn't his either. So... she could compromise.
She went and sat beside him in the middle beside the window and smiled a shy little smile at him before she took out her mountains of books and papers and started to scrawl her homework frantically before class started.

Behind the last Yellow student that entered another one slid behind, grasping on the side of the door, from the small gap, Alfonse scouted the surroundings, hell, it was late, so he opened still, good enough, there were apparently no problems, "My apologies profesor, i didn't expect the hallways to be so long", he spoke in a tone so that most of the class couldn't hear it, so many strange faces were around, so he took on the closest chair and sat on it, the reflect on his gaunlent started to bug him so he set his arm aside grasping on the edge of the chair, he placed his left hand grasping on his face and part of his silver hair
"I should remember to make haste on unfamiliar terrain"

Will saw her come in and couldn't help but grin at her as she sat down next to him. He turned away to hide the beet-redness that permeated for a bit, and then turned back, since the teacher seemed occupied.
"Mizuki-chan.. glasses weren't able to be fixed?" he said with concern.. mostly because he understood why she perferred those large glasses.

Mizuki heard him say that and immediately a cloud of gloom went over her head. Someone had noticed... She looked to the side and then nodded shyly. She didn't like talking in class. She kept scrawling as she looked at Will though.
"Y-Yeah... sorry... and you did all that to retrieve them too..." She murmered as she scrawled. She normally could do this straight and on the line, but when she went to look back, it had scrawled upwards. She squeaked and went to grab her eraser from her bag, groaning a little bit.
"First I couldn't find my contacts then I tripped walking out the door and now I've messed up my homework... today's just not my day..." She murmered with a bit of a rejected look on her face and an exhasperated sigh.

Amaya walked into class slowly, assuming that she was in fact in the right place for the class. She really can't afford to rush, just in case she gets overly exhausted again. Looking at the board, she sighed in relief since she is in the right place after all. She nodded slightly towards the professor, and said politely, "Good day to you, Professor Grant." After she found a seat, she took a quick glance at the map she had put in her shirt pocket, wondering where she should go after class.

"Oh.. well.. its okay.. uh.. here." he said, taking off his sunglasses, and for the first time, his eyes were clear of any redness or puffiness. She could see the irises finally. After taking them off, he folded them, and then handed themto her.
"Ya know, if its really important, you can at least borrow mine. Though.. like I said, its a shame to hide such a face." he said with a smile, holding the glasses out.
