"I want to know everything about it Shizuma." The twenty three year old man replied. The man was pretty mature and sophisticated for a twenty-three year old. He seemed to be several years older then he actually was as he gazed at the boy in front of him. Wise and ancient... this was Alan Padmore. He got down from the chair he had gotten upon and paced on the floor in front of him.
"You say Shadow Magic... what exactly did they do? How did Professor Morrison control the situation?" He asked pointedly.

"The Demons revealed themselves...or I should say the Dark one Revealed them. Eventually, seeing what they were doing I could take it no more and I walked up to Dark and challenged her. The Six Appeared at my side, but then the Divine one showed himself. At this time, he channeled...at least I think that's the word for it....the power of the Wicked Avatar and used it to make dark copies of each of the Samurai...copies that couldn't really best the orginals in my opinion. But then a student went up and challenged and defeated Divine. After that each of the Demon's turned tail and ran for the hills for the most part." said Shizuma as he recalled most of what he could from it all.

He listened for the most part, and at some parts he cringed. Those demons were far more powerful then he could've anticipated... if only he had come sooner. He took a deep breath and seemed to be in deep thought, with his eyes closed and his head bowed. Only a side silhouette through the darkened twilit room could be seen, a small one but a proud one none the less. The silhouette turned its head back towards Shizuma, his glasses glinting in the fiery glow.
"Thank you... that's all I needed to know. I do wish we could've met under better circumstances... however I believe I must be going. I have other students to attend to." The dwarf proceeded to cross the room on his shortened legs and he took Shizuma's hand, shaking it firmly with both hands.
"It's indeed a lovely thing to see you Shizuma. I'm glad to have met the next student... I did not have the benefit to meet the student before me, I truly envy you." Then he seemed to realize how cocky that must've sounded and sweatdropped. "Erm... I really didn't mean to sound arrogant in that." He murmered with a flush. He really didn't like talking about himself.

"It's fine...and I hope to learn a lot from you as I'm sure I will the Samurai. It was a true honor to meet another chosen by the Court of the Great Shogun." said Shizuma as he bowed in addition to the Handshake. "Have no fears that, Hathor will be well taken care of here. "Perhaps we should meet again sometime outside of classes...I wouldn't mind seeing what you can do in a duel professor."
This was something Shizuma had never expected...and he too wished he would have met Alan under different Circumstances. But this was an experience he will not forget anytime soon.

Alan sighed as he took his hand away and smiled. "I'm sure you wouldn't mind, dear boy. You'd be able to glean all the tricks I've learned and then where would I be?" Alan asked as he pulled open the shade a little bit. However, what he saw would make his face go a ghastly white.
There was moving stone outside of the window in the distant courtyard... an army of at least fifty or perhaps more. He pushed up his spectacles... what were people doing out in the courtyard at this time? Especially after the duels... but then he saw it.
Spears.
At least fifty spearmen...
He blanched as he realized what it meant.
"Goddamn!" Alan swore in English and he walked briskly away from the window, talking as he did. "Shizuma, I need to ask you to stay with the girl, do you understand me? Should something happen, get ready to move, and get ready to run." He said firmly and almost angrily. He looked towards the Samurai next.
"I may require one of you to come with me. I need some form of connection to the students with duel spirits to tell them to flee. Even a Footsoldier will do." With that he turned to Shizuma.
"Swear it to me, you will not interfere, and you will get them away." Alan said firmly. But he did not wait for Shizuma's swear. He merely opened the door and started to run as fast as his small legs could carry him.

"Protect the innocent...that's one of the creeds of the court is it not?" asked Shizuma as he nodded in understanding. "Let me guess...the last one is moving?"
Shizuma went over to Hathor and knew that if those soldiers came here he would have to take Hathor and run for the hills. If it was really as bad as it seemed...then the danger was far from over...for any of them.
"Of course, I'll accompany you, Alan...it will be like old times." said Irou as he looked to his old student.

It was some time later that Hathor felt the shaking and rumbling of the earth. Without her sight she was already able to heighten everything else. It was thankfully enough coming on twilight outside, and so the room was darkened when she sat straight up in bed. Her eyes were opened, and she only winced a little at the light, but it was otherwise great to see in.
"The earth's shaking." Hathor said urgently as she tried to get up and out of bed... but as she stood up, she was overcome with a dizzy spell and fell back down to the bed, her world spinning violently... she didn't even know where Shizuma was in it, but she didn't care, as she let herself fall back to the pillow, panting heavily.

Shizuma felt the earth shake and turned quickly to Hathor. When she stood up he was happy to see her awake but seeing her fall back down, he quickly went to her side. He took her hand and sat down next to her.
"Hathor, are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine... what the hell is going on and what did I sleep through?" Hathor said as she tried to rise up again. Her eyes were open and she looked at Shizuma, stunned for a moment. She only stared directly at him with her eyes wide open. Her eyes were reflective and deep, almost with a glassy coating, and her pupils were narrowed. She tried to look at the blind and then squinted while looking at it, then back at Shizuma.
"Um..." She seemed shocked and gripped his hand, blinking as she looked around the room... the room was light as day to her eyes.
"How... long did I sleep?" She said, obviously confused. She looked over at a clock on his bedside table and stared at it.
6:30 PM.
"That's... not that long... what the hell... why's it so bright in here?" Hathor asked... where as to Shizuma's eyes, it wouldn't be bright at all.

"What do you mean? It's gotten darker in here, Hathor..." said Shizuma as he looked at Hathor's eyes.
He saw that they were a bit different than what he seen a bit before. As he looked at Hathor...he thought them much more reflective and deep. Had her eyes changed somehow? He just stood there and looked at Hathor for a bit trying to figure it out. Though he wondered now just how Hathor would react to what he just said.

She peered up at the light fixture on his bedside, which hadn't been turned on yet and she blinked, going to touch the bulb.
It was still cold.
She went to the knob and fumbled with it, twisting the switch once-
And immediately shied away and covered her eyes, crying out in pain as the light filled the room. She fumbled with the light until she could get it turned off and then sat there, with her eyes closed, waiting for the pangs of pain to pass by, before...
"I think... she made it so that I can see in the dark like it's day..." she murmered.

Shizuma was dumbstruck when he heard it. As he looked at Hathor, he hoped that this would allow her to eventually see normally in the day...but he knew now she was going to be light sensitive.
"Well...when you can see normally in the day again you'll be all set wont ya?" said Shizuma making an attempt to make light of the situation.

Hathor opened her eyes and stared over at Shizuma in shock. "Y-Yeah..." She faded off a little, but then she cleared her throat and looked around.
"Anyway, what the hell just happened?" She asked. She grabbed onto the bed to try to propel herself up again, shakily but well-off none the less compared to some of the other demon victims.

"It seems the earth demon has unleashed himself. He's marching an army on the Academy. As he did, he made a final challenge...we bring one person to challenge him...or he'll sink the island. And from what we felt...I think he can do it." said Shizuma with a sigh as he looked at Hathor.
He didn't want to add to her troubles...but she needed to know what was wrong. He also moved by Hathor to help her stand when she tried again.

She found herself using both the support of the bed and the support of his shoulder, before she completely transferred to his shoulder and leaned on it heavily, trying to stand of her own accord. She gritted her teeth as she did and tried not to black out.
"What do we do?" Hathor asked quietly. She honestly didn't know what they could do... it was that incredibly complicated.
