She felt the bed sink down a little beside her, and she turned her head. She was in such a position where she felt the light burn through her eyelids, and so she ducked her head down until she couldn't feel it anymore... in fact it was now that her face was centered around Shizuma's torso. She made the effort to open her eyes again, and she kept them squinted as she looked.
She saw almost an aura of amber light all around Shizuma and she tried hard not to look at the aura. Instead she kept her focus upon Shizuma's eyes as she opened her eyes a little wider. On her eyes was an odd sort of reflective coating, the only scar that Farfarello left behind. Her eyes were glassy and looked a little odder then before, and definitely like cat's eyes. It was something that would now enhance her ability to see in the dark, and until she got used to it, nearly blind her in the light.
She blurrily saw his face and saw the look of concern on it, and then she looked a little more relaxed as she squinted her eyes again to keep being able to see.
"Thank you... I'm alright... I can see... it's hard but I can." She said.

"See...and you said you'd never see again. Now as I said...it's gonna take some time for you to fully recover. Hopefully, it will be swift but we have to be prepared just in case. I'm just glad you can at least do that Hathor." said Shizuma with a nod.
He was smiling a bit again as he looked at Hathor. He knew she was going to recover...but the time it would take would be a bit. Though the question is...what was it that happened to her eyes? He looked on and hoped that Hathor would be okay.

Amy knocked on the doorjamb, peering into the room. She had heard that several of the students had mounted a resistance against some of the demons, and it seemed they had taken at least one more of them out of the running.
"How's she doing?" Amy's voice was calm, not at all angry. She knew that the girl wasn't in control of the demon's actions; there's no way she could have been. the Maiden of the Aqua was at Amy's side, her concerned expression mirroring her human partner's.
"May I come in?"

"Huh? Who is it?" asked Shizuma as he stood up and moved to the door.
Shizuma thought about it then decided for the best.
"Hathor, keep your eyes on me as I move." said Shizuma hoping to make it easy on her.
He walked to the door and opened it only enough so that He could poke his head out to see who it was. This way there would be not a lot of light pushing in. As he looked at the professor, he wondered just what she was up to.
"Professor...sure you can come in but please make it quick..she's sensitive to light right now."

She was going to follow him with her eyes... she really was... but as soon as he moved, the light was too strong again. She just cringed and squeezed her eyes shut. She took the blanket again and put it over her eyes as she desperately felt around for something that she could use.
She felt the pillowcase on the pillow and immediately her hand went to work to take the pillow out of its case. She then dropped the blanket and started to fold the pillowcase, before she tied it around her head with it covering her eyes... it would do for now.

"Yes, of course..." Amy slipped into the room while keeping as much light as possible out, as she looked on at the scene. It didn't take long before she figured out what the problem was.
"It seems that the darkness had a more profound effect than I could have imagined. it would explain the sensitivity to light, at least. However, I'd like to have a professional examine her once she's recuperated. There's still a lot we don't know, and I think it best..." Amy looked at the poor girl, her eyes squinting even in the darkness. It was really a sad sight.
"Once she's up to it, I'd like to make sure there are no lingering effects that may cause issues later. Do either of you have a problem with that?"

Amy's speech was about to be interrupted by Shizuma's cell tone going off. The lyrics of his ringtone came out of his pocket.
Indestructible I won't let anyone break me down Indestructible Nothin's gonna stop me now...
Then there was a recorded message, and the message was as thus.
"Shizuma-kun, Mizuki desu. I have Will-kun with me... Louis-san freed him from the elemental. But..." with this she paused and seemed almost as if she were gathering her courage... "David-san is Alichino's prisoner. Alex-san, Takuto-san and the girl went to another part of the Ra dorm to help Takuto-san and her to recover. I'm in Will-kun's room with Louis-san. Someone is about to duel Alichino... keep her hidden and safe until this is over." There was another pregnant pause. "Stay safe, Shizuma-kun."

Shizuma finished hearing the message on his phone and then looked to both Amy and Hathor.
"It seems that David has been captured, Mizuki got Will back and Louis saved him. Meanwhile, Alex, Takuto, and the girl they were protecting after his duel with Farfarello in the Ra Dorm." said Shizuma summarizing what was just said...
At the same time, Mayumi appeared behind him...the duel spirit walked up to him as Shizuma thought to her...
'Go to Mizuki-san and tell her that Hathor will be safe...' asked Shizuma
"Hai, Shizu-san." said Mayumi as she vanished.

Hathor didn't know any of the people that Shizuma had said. She didn't even know what was truly going on... the only person she had met on the island before her incident was Shizuma. But she did know one thing from what he said... the female and older voice that had entered the room was a professor. She kept the thing tied around her head over her eyes and turned her head in that direction.
"I can hear you." She said. She sounded only a little put off, although a strained smile of reassurance was upon her face. She tilted her head to the side after pondering what Shizuma said and then she bowed her head.
"I'll go see someone if I haven't recovered soon." She said firmly and confidentely.

"And I'm sure you will recover soon, Hathor-san. You're a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for...and don't ask me how I know that I just feel it." said Shizuma as he turned to the blindfolded Hathor.
As he looked at her for a moment he was reminded, only slightly of a card he had seen before. The Servant - Rider card...their hair color was the same...similar length but that was about it. She was much more tanner...and in his mind much more beautiful...wait...where did that come from?!

"Even if you are feeling better soon, I'd still like to have you checked out, just to be 100% sure there's nothing latent that could come back. But for now I will let you rest." Amy said as she went to leave the room.
They were lucky. All this commotion and only two elemental demons left to defeat: Scarmiglione and Alichino. For there to be only one casualty was in itself a miracle, although Amy would say that was one too many.

She heard the footsteps of Professor Morrison and what she and Shizuma had said, and she couldn't help but feel a little bit of comfort at Shizuma's words. Professor Morrison's... not so much. Not at the present time. None the less, she still kept on her facade; her illusion of well-being and composure, although inside she was scared shitless.
"I will, Professor, thank you." She said calmly.
As soon as she heard the door click open and then click shut, her head started to turn in a lost way, trying to seek out some sign of Shizuma. She honestly did not want to be alone, but she could think of no way to say it without sounding vulnerable. She kept her hands tightly clasped in front of her and her legs crossed one over the other... it was a good way to relieve her worry by actually moving and doing something. Then she bit her lip and decided on something.
"For this... thing over my eyes... let's try making it thinner gradually." She commented. She wanted to be able to get her eyes used to it... for although Rider was beautiful, a blindfold was something Hathor didn't want to live with.

"Making it thinner...I'll have to get some material that is thinner than that pillow case as we get it down slowly. You'll have your vision again, Hathor...trust me." said Shizuma as he walked over and took a seat next to her again. "If you need me to get you something, you tell me alright?"
Shizuma sat there next to her keeping his eyes on Hathor. He had a feeling that it was going to be like this for a bit, until she was able to see normally again...but he would help her with that in anyway possible. As he looked around both at her and his room, he decided that he'd have to find someway to keep an ear out for her from his room to hers.

She nodded and then felt fully the bed start to sink again. She then laid back within it and started to adjust herself so that she was at the head of the bed with her head. Then, she 'stared' up at the bunk above her. She was quite unseeing, for by now she had decided to close her eyes. She was trying to be strong quite desperately. But she didn't know what was going on... she could barely remember anything, she had been here for only about a day before the attacks had happened.
Then there was the eternal dark and the threats. The woman who was going to kill her mother... except might spare her mother for her mother being the one to find them. She gripped the bedsheets with one of her hands, her hand balling into a tight and impenetrable fist. And now... now that the demon was banished... she couldn't see properly.
Frustration, agony and the sense of worthlessness leaked out of Hathor and she gritted her teeth now. She was trying to keep it bottled up... she didn't want to break down if the person wasn't ready to see it. From behind her blindfold, a tear started to fall as she finally let herself somewhat sink into self-pity.

Shizuma turned and looked down at Hathor. As he sat there, he saw a slight wet spot starting to form near the eyes where her blindfold was. His mind and heart argued for a bit...he shifted his eyes and then nodded and decided to do something he just felt on impulse. He took a deep breath and then leaned down.
His breath was soft as was his hold as he placed his arms around her giving her a simple hug. He knew at times like this that people liked to know that there was at least someone there with them...and that was the best thing at the moment he could think of...he just hoped, that he wasn't doing something wrong.
