There wasn't much outside of the Slifer Dorms...that's just how it was. But at this point, there was at least enough grass to just sit down and do some work. At this point, Shizuma was sitting outside looking over his deck as he sat there getting to work. He had to do as much he could to keep up with things at this point, and that was why he was sitting here now.
Each of the Samurai were set before him as he looked at his deck trying to figure out what he was going to do.
"Now...come on guys...how can I help you all get better?"

A night sky full of cries Hearts filled with lies The contract... Is it worth the price? A soul pledged to the darkness Now I've lost it I know I can kill The truth exists beyond the gates?
Dark black were what her eyes consisted of. Bags were underneath her eyes. The strains of life seemed to take its toll. She walked with her bag and was far from that lustrous and tempting woman that she had been before. Hathor Massri's dark skin was not as well kept although her beauty was still there. The Slifer had been in distress.
She did not go to classes because she was normally with her mother. Now that she was back she would probably need to crash at some point. The girl was walking towards her dorm and she yawned quietly.
"Tired..." She murmered. She had been so tired lately. She had been tired almost in a very lazy way. This was an extreme difference from usual to be sure.

Shizuma blinked and heard a voice near him. He had heard that voice before and it was none other than the Slifer that he met a while a go in the caves. Taking a look at her, she seemed very much out of it...like she had pulled an all nighter the night before. Standing up, he took his cards up and put them into his deck case on his belt and headed towards her to see if she was okay.
"Hey, Hathor...how are you?"

Hathor seemed to be a little bit out of sync. In fact when Shizuma said what he said, she turned. It took her a few moments to recall who he was. But then it came to her and she put on a smile. "Hey honey, I'm fine." She said to him, and then she winked. "Still as jumpy around women?" She asked.
It had been quite a while since she had seen Shizuma and thus she asked these questions just to get a reaction out of him. It was good to see him though. She was happy to see a familiar face in the sea of unfamiliar faces. She had had no time to get to know anyone around here.

"It really depends on the situation, Hathor-san." said Shizuma with a grin.
However, it was at that moment when he noticed the change in her eyes. Weren't they an Amber color before? Wondering if he should ask about it, he just kept his eyes on her and motioned for her to come sit with him. She still looked liked she needed a moment to rest.
"Why don't you come and have a sit with me? You seem tired...what did you do pull an all-nighter?"

She looked at him quietly and then came to sit next to him, smirking a little as she got herself comfortable. She placed her head on his shoulder and shrugged. Yet again Hathor's concept of a personal bubble was either not known or disregarded in Shizuma's case. She closed her eyes and nodded.
"You could say that." She said quietly. She sighed and rubbed her eyes. "I haven't gotten much sleep lately." Of course she wouldn't say why. It would seem too much like complaint in her eyes. But she had had bad headaches, nightmares, and had generally just liked to stay up all night but felt too much pain in the morning to sleep. It was infuriating.

"Really? Oh no...I'm sorry to hear that." said Shizuma trying to keep his composure with her resting her head on his shoulder.
The move was unexpected and he did jump a bit at first when she sat that close to him. But now that they were just sitting here, he didn't move just so that she could possibly find some comfort. It was odd to see her in such a state...she just looked so worn out. Perhaps he could help her relax a bit by talking to her.

"Mmmhm..." She said quietly. She opened her blackened eyes and immediately she winced. Even opening her eyes after having them closed for a time was painful. The light was just too much, especially outside. She shaded her eyes and then she yawned quietly.
"I've been working a lot since my mom's exhibit was busted. Mom and the police are trying to figure out who did it..." She rubbed her forehead. "It could be important... legends like the one that goes with that tablet have an uncanny ability of coming true. Call it a precaution." She said.

Shizuma looked at her with a curious look. She was taking such a precaution...it was odd to him to see. Why was she so nervous about it? Well he would have to ask later...but at this point there was one thing about her that had changed that he just couldn't help but ask about now.
"Hey, Hathor...weren't your eyes Amber before?"

Hathor lifted her head to look at him with shock in her eyes. Amber... of course they were... they always had been... but then something seemed to cloud her head. Her whole awareness was gone... She seemed to be slipping into unconsciousness as her vision started to fade. She struggled against it but the force was too powerful. Hathor finally started to slip down... down into the dark, where she could sleep... but what had caused it so suddenly?
She felt herself become weightless and without any awareness. She was just blanketed by something she could sleep in. The girl's eyes drooped and closed... but where was she? What had happened?
Soul will rise. Close your eyes. Downfallen, fallen , fallen. Cold inside. Just howling in the shadows.
"Contacts." What a frisky little day. It was despicable. The sun was just openly flashing itself. God, how revealing! How boring! She had finally come out of her little world and this was what she came across? Light was such an ignorant creature. She couldn't stand it. She sat up straighter with the weariness mostly gone, however she had to act of course. Yes... of course.
"I wore amber contacts before. You really paid so much attention to me that you noted that? How charming of you... it's almost as if you've known me for quite a while." This was her way of gaining insight... who was this person and his relationship to the girl she called hers?

"Yeah...it was one of the most interesting parts of you...I liked them." said Shizuma honestly.
He did like her amber eyes...he thought of them as exotic and beautiful. He had just met her a few weeks a go and it was odd of him to think that sounded like he had known her for a bit. As he sat there, he thought about things while he looked at her.
"And you would think that dispite that we met only a few weeks a go huh?"

"Why of course." Then they hadn't met all that long ago. This would be interesting. She knew the basic personality of her hostess and she was more then happy to keep it that way. Her hostess had the sin of lust but she herself sinned through her lazy demeanor. She was more then happy to just hang back and watch. If she had less of a fight, so be it. She would come back around when needed to pick up the remains. She'd rather have help through trickery then through actually dominating anyone.
She leaned back on her hands and yawned quietly. She might have to let the other out more then she thought, if this boy was so attracted to amber eyes. She gazed over at him quietly. What was his ability in dueling, she wondered. She might be able to use him for her own goals if he was anything decent. Trickery, lies... she almost felt sorry for the poor lad.
Almost.
"It seems so long since the tablet broke. I suppose that's why I thought that way." The woman said casually. She yawned once and then looked over at him once again. She had to know more about this whole little situation between the two of them. From what she could fathom however, they had only met once or perhaps twice. This was better for her.

"That's true...but hopefully they find out who did it and they can put it back together. It was a shame for such a historical peace to befall that fate." said Shizuma as he turned to look at her.
Shizuma had no clue...no understanding of what was in front of him. He just thought it was Hathor...the same girl he met those weeks ago. Though as he sat there and looked at her...he was attracted to her to be sure. Though he still wondered about the eyes...why the contacts? Either way her eyes were pretty...
"So, how are you feeling now?"

Post by David Frost on Oct 18, 2009 22:18:28 GMT -5
It had almost been a full week since David had first arrived on this island, and he was sad to say that his investigation concerning the events behind the Tablet of the Seven Attributes hadn't been going so well. Other than meeting the daughter of the archaeologist who had excavated the Tablet and having a noteworthy duel with another girl who had a duel spirit of her own, he had yet to find anything else that could lead him and his search for answers in the right direction. So naturally, the best idea he had was to search out the only other person he knew of who might know something about the ancient tablet.
Hathor.
With any luck... She would be right where David was hoping to find her. Now he just wished that this was more of a social visit than anything else. She was, after all, a damn fine babe. Just the very thought of that brought a small blush and a pervertedly dazed smile to the silver-haired boy's face as he continued walking towards the dorm. However, it was quickly dismissed when he finally came into sight of his destination. And also when he heard a certain loud "AHEM!" in his ears that snapped him back to reality.
Sometimes that little mutt of a duel spirit could be a real killjoy...
But as David rounded the last corner in the path and came to stand in front of the Slifer Dorm, he saw that his hunch about Hathor had been right all along. She was sitting on the grass with her head laid down on the shoulder of another Slifer student, a male around David's age with long dark hair. "Oh, there you are." David called out to the pair, approaching them with one hand in the pocket of his Obelisk jacket and the other casually waving them to them both. "I was hoping that I'd be able to find you around here. You are one hard person to track down, Hathor."
He seemed perfectly calm and friendly on the surface, far from the happy-go-lucky pervert from when he and Hathor had met for the first time, but that was only a facade that David had erected at the last moment as he came closer to the duo. The "inner David" was practically crying his eyes out, ripping out his hair, and gnashing his teeth in despair for what he what he was now seeing. Hathor had a boyfriend!? NO! It cannot be! It's not FAIR! IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!
But then again... Life rarely was.
He also offered a polite nod to the Slifer male who was sitting with the dark-skinned beauty. "Hey there. You look like you're enjoying youself." he said with a light smile, but there was a peculiar glint in his eyes that seemed anything but friendly. It was almost as if the "inner David" was still lamenting in bitter defeat and saying to the other boy "You defeated me, you lucky snot! You better be enjoying that fine company you've got!"

Her head was raised up to look at the new person who had come to their little scene. The woman was honestly wondering when she had met this person, when Hathor had. But this person was a bit more clear then the one she had the head on the shoulder of. She had started to emerge when this boy had been met. The woman inclined Hathor's head and a little smile appeared on her face.
"Hard to track down? You knew I was Slifer honey, you should've just come down here earlier." This woman was very good at mimicking Hathor Massri. In fact, it wasn't that hard. Have no shame and act like you're attracted to and will love every person you meet. Hathor was a very complex yet simple creature to imitate in demeanor. She took her head off Shizuma's shoulder and tilted it to look at David from another point of view.
"But why did you want to see little old me hun? I can't be that interesting can I?" The woman asked with a playful smirk.
