There a certain saying that a certain set of circumstances happening in the wrong place at the wrong time could cause the End of the Universe. So a bunch of students, in a Common Room, with a glass bottle, at night, was probably just the right set of circumstances.
Alex was bored, or rather he was restless, the Common Room was oddly empty for the evening, he sat amid a circle of chairs in the middle of the common room, spinning a glass Coke bottle around and around with one hand, stopping it and changing direction at random. Boredom made him do simple things, after all, simple things appease simple minds, not that he was simple, he was just having fun, and waiting for someone else to turn up.

The common room was a nice place to be, or so Issy had decided. It always seemed to be quite busy, which allowed her to be able to pick up on multiple things going on, and had always proved to be a constant distraction to her, which in turn also meant that she seemed to have a lot of fun trying to figure out what was going on, though most of the time before she was finished she would get more preoccupied by something else, normally when something more interesting happened.
So with this sort of idea in mind she wandering in her natural aimless fashion into the common room, looking around, spotting something almost immediately, a bottle, spinning, and only one person there that she could see. Interesting. She watched it for a couple more seconds before. She smiled for a second, half confused in herself as to what to do, the boy was on his own spinning it. She couldn’t really work it out herself, so all she ended up doing was standing there, staring at the bottle aimlessly.

Alex was so focused on ... well spinning the bottle, it was slightly hypnotic really, spin, spin, spin, spin, you spin my head right round right rou- no that was a song, and that thought broke his concentration.
He looked up, something in the back of his mind telling him that he wasn't alone anymore and he felt a little embarrassment, people would think he was weird if he was alone spinning a bottle in an empty room.
He turned around, suddenly noting Issy's presence in the room, panicking for some reason, he immediately grabbed the bottle behind him and hid it behind his back, although in passing he couldn't help notice that she was extremely cute.
"Oh .... uuuuuuhhhhhh Hi!" Alex said quickly, blushing a little and slightly flustered as he attempt to hide the bottle behind his back with one hand and giving a small wave with the other.

Issy had only been watching the boy, and the bottle for a couple of seconds before he turned around, realising that she was there, and making an attempt to hide the bottle. She giggled slightly at this, it seemed to be a little bit odd to her that he was trying to hide something, even though she had already seen it, and she was the only one in the room at that time, no-one else could see it, and she already had.
”Hi.” She replied, in her standard quiet voice, smiling quite happily, at him, ”What are you doing?” She asked afterwards, before walking over, and sitting down opposite him. She was tired from her day, she had to try and learn things for classes, something she naturally struggled at, and didn’t particularly, like, so she wanted to sit down now, do something which didn’t involve learning anything complicated, and something which would be a lot more fun than studying.

Alex flushed slightly at her question, "Oh .... uhhhhh I'm playing with a bottle as weird as it sounds" he said, kind of apologetically, and his expression was very sheepish as he produced the glass vessel from behind him as she sat down on one of the chair opposite him. Alex could feel his ears going red, which was normally a sign of two things, either he was annoyed, or he was EXTREMELY embarrassed that someone had seen him playing with his bottle.
"Not much else to do really, not really very tired so I came here, its always nice and quiet here on the evenings, don;t you think so?" he said, attempting to engage in polite conversation with this rather cute looking girl who had just come out of the blue, but he could still feel his ears burning.

Well the question had simply given Issy the answer which she expected to receive, about the bottle. She had seen that, and considering that there was no-one else around, there was nothing to hide was there? ”That doesn’t sound too weird, or I don’t think that it does…” She trailed off, was it weird? She couldn’t quite work it out, but she didn’t really think that it was, or she hoped that it wasn’t. She had spoken now anyway, so it was a little bit late for her to take back what she had previously said.
She went back to smiling noticing, though she didn’t quite understand as to why, that the boy’s ear’s where red. ”I like it in here.” She said. Maybe it didn’t completely answer the question, but she couldn’t completely help that much.
”Oh, my name’s Issy.”

Alex gave a sheepish smile in return, at least she hadn't found him to .... well weird, playing with a bottle, in the evening, alone, "Hi Issy, I'm Alex" he said politely, his ears turning a shade redder, talk about awkward circumstances.
"I like it here to ... its nice a quiet on the evenings sometimes" he said calmly, then his Mind immediately scrambled for a topic of conversation as he passed the bottle from one hand to another, however his mind had blanked itself and wasn't being very co-operative. Time to open the emergency jar labeled 'The Worlds Worst Lines for all Occasions'
"Soooo ... you come here often then do you?", the question itself was stupid, but he really had nothing else to lose, he already felt like an idiot for getting caught playing with his bottle.

Issy smiled as Alex said his name. ”Nice to meet you Alex.” She said after that, still smiling, though still not really speaking that loudly, by nature she tended to be quite quiet when it came to speaking, not that she didn’t have a lot to speak about, but she tended to not be too loud when it came to saying it. ”Me too, sometimes I just sit in here on my own, it’s nice, and a lot quieter than some of the other parts of the island.”
She trailed off, a little confused now, as to what to say, Issy always found that at some point she ended up getting lost like this, she always ran out of things to say, and completely trailed off, having nothing left which she could say. It was frustrating for her most of the time, she wanted to be able to speak. ”So, ya been up to much?” She asked, after racking her brain for something to say.

"No not really ... just ... lessons .. and spinning a bottle ... not really had too many Duels so life has been a little boring ... other then that its been ... fun I guess" Alex said, it seemed the conversation was rapidly running out of steam, with both of them running out of ideas quickly, and he was out of lines.
"So Issy ... what do you think of the Academy?" he asked, something telling him that this conversation was going to go down hill from here, either that or it was just going to get sillier and sillier.

Issy smiled through Alex’s response happily, trying to think of anything else which she could say. Already somehow there was a sudden loss of speech, and more or less nothing which they where able to talk about, or that she could think of to talk about. It was just her luck, she managed to find someone to talk to, and yet had nothing to talk about, or nothing she was able to think about. All she could really think about half-well was the bottle, somehow it had fixated itself into her mind.
She was too busy thinking, and almost missed Alex’s next question, furiously kicking her head into a position to think about, and provide an answer. ”I err, I like it.” She said, pushing the words out, in a manic attempt to answer with something, anything which came to mind.

The rather awkward void of silence between them returned, more rapid then before, Alex continued to pass the bottle from hand to hand.
"Nice job genius, alone with a girl and all you can think of is 'Do you like it here'" a voice somewhere in the back of his head scolded.
"Oh shut up!" another voice replied crossly.
"Right ... now I'm arguing with myself" Alex thought.
"Soo ..... ever played Spin the Bottle?" Alex asked, attempting to spin the bottle on his palm, and failing miserable, dropping into onto that carpet where in made a dull plunk!-ing sound as the glass collided with the soft surface, where it rolled across the floor to land at Issy's feet.

Issy didn’t really like the silence too much, she would much prefer if she could think of something to say, think, think, but no, her mind remained completely blank, aside from the fact that she couldn’t think about anything. It was annoying for her, she wanted to speak, though had a lack of words.
Thankfully though, Alex spoke again, asking about whether or not she had ever played ‘Spin the bottle’. She didn’t really think so, though as she was thinking, the bottle rolled over to her feet, after being dropped by Alex who had tried to spin it. She leaned down, picking it up, before speaking. ”I don’t think so, though I think I know how to play.” That she was pretty sure of, she thought she knew how to play. ”Don’t you sort of need more than two people to play though?”

"Yeah, its ... at least 3 I think, but its supposed to be more fun with more people, with only the pair of us we may as well play Coin Toss" Alex said thoughtfully, then chuckling at the tiny amount of humor in that sentence.
"Besides, playing with just us would make the game a little one sided, the result would always be the same, unless we can randomly grab someone and drag them in to play?" he joked playfully.

Robert, walked into the Common Room after his duel with Craig. He was quite weary, trying to resolve the anger he caused, only to be met by failure. He was truly worried, he might have made his first enemy at the Academia. If that were the case, than who else would become his enemies? He was truly worried, and he just wanted to wind the hell down.
Running into a familiar face, the cute girl who he met when he had just unpacked his things, and a new boy approached the group. The boy was playing with a bottle, and it looked like something potentially fun. "Hey guys, mind if I cut in?" he asked. Funny, he ran Ojamas as his open deck, and Ojama literally translated to 'but in.' He was just looking for a means to wind down after a difficult day. It wasn't enough to make him break down at all, it was just something that opened his eyes.

Issy nodded in silence to what Alex had said, holding the silence for a second, before hearing something behind her. Automatically she turned around, in a rather shocked manner, not really expecting anyone else to come into the common room. She wasn’t too sure as to why she thought this, but she had, most likely because there had been no-one in the room in the first place, she somehow worked out this meant that no-one else would come in.
She recognised the person, though couldn’t immediately remember the name. He wanted to join in, which lead to a rather confused, and startled response from Issy. ”I, err, emmm………” With that her voice trailed off into nothing, completely confused.
