Post by Richard Diodrago on Oct 6, 2009 9:14:50 GMT -5
Richard thought for a moment how he should answer, of course he would say his name but he was unsure what he should say was his deck type. When he was learning about the game at the card shop he had learned that there were different types; burn, mill, beat-down, lock-out. However he wasn't sure which one he played. I better just say something. Richard stood up and gave his introduction:
"Richard Diodrago, Wolf Deck-type."
Richard sat down with more confidence, yes, that was his deck. Whether or not it won many tournaments or prizes that deck was not just his deck but his heart and soul as well.

Post by Issy Kentra on Oct 6, 2009 11:13:34 GMT -5
Issy had waited for her turn to speak, hearing mainly things which she didn’t really understand until the previous answer, ‘Wolves’ Various to her just meant that someone was too indecisive and wasn’t really that skilled when it came to making up their mind as to what deck type they should use, she more or less knew what she had, and stood up, with a rather odd sensation of being slightly taller than most people in the room for a second, even though they where all sitting down, which took away from it slightly, not that she was able to think about that.
”Issy Kentra.” She said, her voice coming out quite quietly, she could hear herself, and so would most people in her direct area, but anyone that much further away wouldn’t hear that much, ”Neo-Space.” She had another deck, but had forgotten to take it to the academy with her, so it was simpler for her to just say the one she had with her, and on her, the one with a single trap, she liked that deck as well, it had cute monsters in it, the Crysalis cards where cute, especially when she properly summoned then, instead of just looking at the card art.

Craig had listened to all of the deck types, and he actually shared a similar view to Marvello. Craig used various deck types, the majority the same type, just different combinations of cards. However there were two he currently liked most.
So when the girl next to him finished speaking, he stood up to answer. "I am Craig Benedict. I use an Alien Deck and a Gradius-themed Deck." Craig had a thing for space. He did have a favoritism for machines in general, yet space based cards were favorites even more often. Not necessarily same in strategy since Gradius was beatdown and a bit of swarm while the Aliens were control and manipulation based.

Post by DJ Reilty on Oct 6, 2009 23:06:55 GMT -5
"My name's DJ Reilty and I play Dragons of all kinds, but my main deck is a modified general Dragon beatdown." He said friendily and smiled politely. He didn't mind revealing his deck type at all, people would find out eventually and it wasn't the size or type of deck, but how one used it that mattered. That being said, he did take the oppurtunity to gather useful information on his classmates, to better understand them and also where he stood with his own style.
He sighed and sat down, still wondering what to expect from the people and the class. Everything was a mystery when it was all so new. He hoped to better get to know most of these people fairly soon.

Guess it is now her turn for the introductions, so without further ado, Wing said, "Wing Sung, I main a dragon deck, and my secondary deck is currently in the process of construction." Well, the previous person also used a dragon deck, so it could be interesting to exchange notes later, even though her deck is more of a dragon control type deck rather than beat down. She then immediately took out her notebook, and made a note in it to ask DJ to compare decks on a later date.

Post by Amelia Force on Oct 7, 2009 18:43:25 GMT -5
Since Amelia was posing as a student in this class, it's only natural that she answers the professor's question as well. She smile and stated in a clear voice, "As I have previously stated, my name is Amelia Force. Pleased to meet the rest of you really." Taking a short pause to figure out what's the best way to describe her deck without giving too much away, she eventually settled with the following, "As for what decks I run, an Elemental Hero and yet another dragon deck. However, both the decks have a unique twist to them."
As she finished her introduction, she began to analyze the other student's decks. Wolf, Gradius, and Neo Space are the ones that stood out the most among the decks that have been declared. Amelia grinned, noting that the students do have a good grasp on originality with their decks.

Apollo smiled, "Apollo Shiyoke, Skulls." It was a strange type. Well, normally it wouldn't be. "Oh yeah, and one called Alliance when it comes out. IF it comes out." The teacher was much smarter then he thought. He thought she'd take the bait hook line and sinker, but she didn't even seem to flinch. He smiled as he tapped his fingers on his desk. So these are the decks everyone else use. Hm, pretty interesting.
He stared at Amelia. Something strange about her, she paused a lot. Then his eyes drifted towards the rest of the class. Almost all of the class (himself included) blurted out the answer. But Amelia seemed to have her mind elsewhere. He disreguarded it and tapped one more time on his desk. He looked at the teacher, waiting for the rest of the class.

Post by Emma Gale on Oct 9, 2009 0:16:21 GMT -5
Emma just muttered under her breath, "Emma Gale, monarchs, that is all." Of course, since she is muttering, it's hard to hear her even if someone was sitting next to her. And even by some odd chance that someone heard, what she said is only partially true. Marco monarchs are quite a bit different from regular monarch, not to mention that she has a secondary deck at her disposal as well.
While the others probably didn't hear her, she did hear a lot of decks that the others are using. And three dragon decks in the same class, that's interesting to a certain degree. Are dragons on the rise, or is it just those three? Either way, it's time to make some preparations against those said decks, just in case of an emergency.

Leon yawned, watching the others and hearing about their deck types. He didn't really care about them, so he didn't listen. He'd rather see their decks through a duel, not blatant telling. Either way, he'd saved his few decks from totally lightening by saying Various. He looked up at the teacher and waited for her to continue, already bored with this class.
