Amy Morrison walked into her classroom and smiled. It reminded her of the choir classrooms from her youth, desks set all in rows on almost platform-like tiers that were reminiscent of stairs. At least it didn't have a mirrored wall behind her desk, that would just be eerily similar. Regardless, there was work to be done, so Amy went around and set everything up that she thought she would need. Gone were the days of blackboards, it seemed. This school (or at least her room) was equipped with something the tech team called a "smart board", what is was was a projection imager with a stylus she could use for various different things. It was certainly different than what she was accustomed to, but the directions seemed fairly simple, she could probably get the hang of it...as long as she didn't do something stupid like try to use dry erase markers on it. RPG OST - Start of a New Age (Interlude: Slidy - PROJECT)With everything on her end taken care of, All Amy had to do was wait. Surely that couldn't be that hard, right? OOC note: - If you signed up for this class, I expect you to have a post in this thread by friday, the 26. I also expect constant posting, at least 2-3 times per week in this class. Lurking will result in a lowered grade. And yes, the grade will mean something, so don't screw it up!

Oh but it could. It definitely could be hard to teach this class. But of course the girl that wandered in wouldn't know that at all. In fact the girl that wandered in was just trying to read. It was a girl that the professor had already met and a girl who was a large klutz. But of course her nose was stuck in a book. This time it was a pretty large book. The book was called 'A Darkness at Sethanon' by Raymond E. Feist. She read English books as a hobby. That would give a little bit of an echo of how fluent she was in English.
She was in her Mary Janes and her knee socks, along with a tiny Ra miniskirt and her blazer with her shirt underneath it. Her thick and large glasses were perched on her nose, which couldn't be seen behind her book. Her grey hair was pinned back with a barrette today and she looked almost younger then she was with her flat chest and petite form. She was a bony girl, very slim. She looked almost too slim. She had a long neck, but this could hardly be seen behind her hiding form. Her torso kind of resembled a box at the present time, having not come into bloom. She was a very late bloomer. It didn't help that she didn't wear form-fitting clothing, but rather she hid her body. She wanted to look ordinary and she succeeded at looking like a nerd.
She had her backpack on her shoulder and that was what had set her off balance. The girl went to set it down at a seat in the front and hooked it on another chair, which caused her to trip into her seat. She squeaked as she fell and then groaned, bowing her head.
"Not again..." She mumbled.

"Hello Prof" said Loius as he walked into the classroom. Wearing a cheerful grin on his face he took his hand out of his pocket and waved to the teacher, his rosary resettling at his side.
Louis stood tall and he had his Ra jacket over his black turtle neck. He scanned the room and say a girl had fallen down at her seat, and he walked up to her.
With a warm smile on his face he asked "do you need a hand?"

She turned red and the small girl looked to the side. Out of the corner of her eye she could see the boy- dark black hair, light blue eyes... she saw that he was wearing slightly more casual clothing then her, as she wore the full uniform. But it wasn't like you had to stick to uniform code. She bit her lip and then nodded quietly, struggling to a standing position from her awkward position. She held out her hand and floundered with it trying to grab onto his arm or something. She felt so embarrassed...
((Yeargh... short post.))

"Ha ha, that blush suits your face," Louis said as he lifted her up to her feet. He looked at her bulging backpack and saw the books weighing her down. "You know you don't need to carry some many books at once, its not good for your back," he said with a smile. A thought passed through his mind Hermione Granger and he stored the thought away for later. Louis looked at the girl. She reminded him of a scrawny spaarow he had seen back home, and he wondered if she might have wings too (metaphor for something special). Anyway, where are my manners. Louis Kachala," he said holding out his hand "and you are?" ((If it were me I would have made a Harry Potter joke, fortunatly this guy has more brains ))

((No you wouldn't have, you don't do that to people you don't know. XDDDD Just to me.))
She stood to her feet and immediately stayed apart from him, pressing her fingers into each other in her nervousness. The blush... suited her face? She looked to the side. That was mean. That was horribly horribly mean. But she wouldn't have any protest to it. She wasn't the type. She just shuffled and then bit her lip.
"I-I know... but... I've got all five classes... then I got to go to the library... then I have to..." She bowed her head quietly. "I-I just have a lot of things to do." She murmered. "I-I don't want to have to go back and forth between my dorm room and my classes..." She put her hands behind her back and her fingers started to furl and unfurl, twisting themselves around each other. She was fidgeting badly.
"M-Mizuki Haruka desu." She said, but then she realized by the name that he'd probably prefer speaking in English, so she reverted to that. "S-Sorry... I said 'I am Mizuki Haruka'." She mumbled.

(Apologies, Amy, you inspired me...) Leon's Entrance Theme A small beating was heard outside the room, until the door suddenly flew back open as a foot appeared, then a leg. A tall man with brown, shoulder-length hair and bright green eyes stepped into the classroom, his Ipod touch clipped to his pocket, the earphones hooked around his ears, not inside them, so that the large beating of the music could be heard loudly from the earphones. The man looked around the room slowly, his eyes shifting from one side to the other...
He was wearing a black coat over a red under-shirt, along with brown leather gloves. His green eyes were partially hidden by black sunglasses, which hung low down the bridge of his nose, letting him gaze out at the other students over the rim of them. His pants were a dull black, along with his shoes, completing his outfit. In his hand was a bright orange..well, orange, which he was tossing up and down.
Soon having seen everyone in the class, he shrugged and looked away out of boredom of everyone there and found a seat at the back, propping his feet up on the table and peeling the orange slowly. Giving a look of disgust at the small fruit, he took a savage bite, wincing at the, in his opinion, unpleasant taste. After he swallowed, he took another bite, then suddenly threw the orange towards the front of the class. Just before it hit the wall near the teacher, he snapped his fingers and it disappeared with a small plop! and some red smoke.
Rockin' Rhapsados, the Street Magician, had entered the building.

((Heck if I didn't know the person I would help them up then go to my seat))
As Mizuki introduced herself Louis noticed she was acting very nervous. He didn't understand why but he respected the space between them and his smile remained on his face. "All five classes, thats amazing," Louis said impressed "you must be very smart."

Wing tried to suppress a yawn as she walked into the classroom. Truth is, since this is the first day of class, she was so nervous that she couldn't fall asleep yesterday, and now, she was dead tired. That, plus the fact that she tends to fall asleep easier during the day than the night would make actually staying up throughout this lesson a tough task indeed.
As she made her way to her seat, Wing didn't pay any attention to the other people in the room since she can hardly keep her eyes opened. As soon as she sat down, she decided to do a meditation technique that was said to help wake her mind up. Feet on the floor, palms up, and take deep breaths while counting all the way to ten and then dropping the count back to one again. After a few minutes of that, the sleepiness evaporated, at least for the time being.

Post by Marvelo Namaguchi on Sept 22, 2009 22:27:13 GMT -5
Marvelo looked around the classroom as he entered. Everything here was basic, even the students in the class. He was the only Obelisk and it wasn't even that far off from the class starting. Sighing Marvelo found himself a seat just a few down from where the others were. He wasn't a biggie on the whole "Obelisk Supremacy" thing but in most situations he wouldn't delay taking it to the heart.
Laying the journal down and setting his pen, Marvelo awaited for the mishaps of this class to begin. Nothing he learned here had been useful and he didn't even know why the class was the taught. Or for that matter why he was even in the class. It was just as bad as the tablets in the museum. Some crap about duel monster actually being real. They were holographic images of a card game. How in the world could they be real? Folding his arms, Marvelo watched as things would slowly become the start of class.

Shizuma walked into the room and moved to go take a seat in front row. As he looked at the board he brought out his notepad from his book bag and he started to look at it. He sat down and started to head his paper for today's lesson. He looked over at the other students and he did see Mizuki.
"Oyaho everyone."

The loudest of them all would soon appear in the vicinity and she was... well.. loud. Not all that well known, but she was awesome anyway! She was Airi, and she had to keep optimism because there was no way the rest of these emo twats were gonna!
She came walking into the classroom and immediately her hand was up and waving in the air, a 'shocker' symbol being made with her hands.
"YO!" She yelled. Once she thought she had everyone's attention, she smirked.
"Mornin'. That is all." she said, and then she went to sit in the back.

Ethan walked into the room, a bit early but that never hurt anyone. Apparently the class was a bit more full than he expected, although that was probably for the better. He didn't know what to expect, so he went and sat next to the other Obelisk in the class. Best to stay together, right?
"Hey, how you doing?" Ethan figured that if he got a name to put with the obelisk boy's face, it would be helpful.

Rika walked in, quietly, gingerly, her steps so quiet she was surprised she was walking, except for the little padding that kind of sounded like a notebook falling an inch from the ground. She didn't like loud things, or people, but she would live. She slipped in quietly but noticeably at the same time and sat in a seat near ... the middle? ish?

Will walked in next, backpack slung on his shoulder again, sunglasses on, as well as the Ra uniform, looking pretty much as he did from day one. Sure, he was better, however, he wasn't ready to shatter his shield quite yet.. and a few people knew that.
In fact, one of those people now sat in the room, and he gave a small, nearly unnoticable grin to her, before dropping his smile altogether and making his way for a seat in the back. Though at an angle so that he could see Mizuki.
