Apollo had made it to duel acadamy but was suffering from something he wasn't sure he could get out of. He had a very high fever. He was freezing cold and felt clammy to the touch, but apparantly his body temperature was very high (106 degrees). He was sweating and the nurse kept trying to take off his jacket but he kept stopping her. "Please don't...I'll freeze to death if you do." The nurse thought it was just an effect of the fever. Truth is, Apollo literally thought he was freezing. He passed out from heat exaustion and the nurse managed to remove his coat.
Then something strange happened. Apollo started to shiver. His hands flinched and he moved his head frantically. His bandages began to loosen around his eye, but they didn't fall off. Nobody at the acadamy knew what his other eye looked like, and hopefully, nobody will. Apollo began to sweat less, but he was still very warm. His eyes bolted open but then slowly shut themselves. The nurse left, he was slowly gaining consciousness. He could hear and speak, but he couldn't open his eyes. He reached for his jacket, but the nurse took it away. Oh great, I'm half naked and I can barely move. What could go wrong?

Amelia currently was just exploring the academy. After all, it's not that good for the headmistress if she gets lost at the school as well. She was just passing by the infirmary area when the nurse was just commenting to herself on a student's fever. Well, that grabbed her attention and she went ahead and asked to learn more. Apparently, a student has a fever and was hallucinating that he was in fact freezing. Shrugging slightly, she decided to check it out.
As she approached the male student's bed, Amelia took a quick glance at said student. His appearance is interesting, to say the least, and his attire is something to wonder about as well. According to the nurse, he was wearing a jacket that's way too heavy for this time of the year. Amelia sat down beside him and asked, "Hey, you awake?"

"Do you know where my jacket is? I'm freezing in here." His body had the reactions of being cold as well, it shivered as if it tried to produce heat. "Please, I'm going to die if you don't give me that jacket. I don't care what the nurse says I need to get warm." His fever would begin to go up again, back to 106 degrees. His arm twitched, he started to make short and choppy breaths. He couldn't open his eyes still. "I'm going to freezr if I don't get warm."
He then remained silent. He wasn't dead, it was as if he was trying to conserve heat and energy. HIs arms stopped moving, his legs stopped moving. His breath seemed elongated, his pulse was still high though. His knuckles were clinched, he could barely move. "Could you...please?" He tried to sleep but just couldn't.

Amelia look at the student with a rather curious look in her eyes. While the student does seem to be in a freezing state, it could also be, as the nurse said, just a hallucination. Shrugging slightly, she replied in an apathetic tone of voice, "Sorry, but no can do. Doctors orders." Well, that was only part of the reason why she said that, the other part was that it will be solely her fault if something were to happen if she gave him the jacket, while the blame will mostly be put on the nurse if Amelia doesn't comply with the student's request.

Apollo laid still. He wouldn't talk to this person if she wasn't going to help save his life. He tried and tried and tried to open his eyes but he just couldn't. Then he realized what it was, though. This was a message. A message from his deck, so he thought. In his mind he saw the field spell "Yami" and was staring face to face with a summoned skull. The summoned skull's voice was sinister, but seemed honest.
You have used me in many duels, it began, and it is time I help you out. Apollo's left arm would start to move upwards. His lips would mutter, "Summoned is the king," but no sound would come out. He wasn't possessed, he was doing everything Summoned Skull asked him to in his mind. The summoned skull nodded. Good, good. I will continue to help you, now. You have already let it known that you are honored to be able to use me in a duel. This is why I am helping you. If you don't use me, I won't help you. Apollo nodded, he was psyched to see Summoned Skull. I am just a figment of your mind, but its the intelligence in the dark corners of your mind.
The summoned skull placed a hand on Apollo's chest as lightning would shoot. Apollo's heart rate would spike up, it would almost be to an unhuman amount. Then it would almost immediately go back to normal. Apollo's eyes opened. He got out of the bed and stared at Amelia. "Thanks for the jacket." He walked past her. It may seem confusing to anyone else, but some knowledge can only be obtained through memory. Apollo knew this, and the summoned skull lurking in the dark corners of his mind was sure to help him out in duels.

Amelia was starting to wonder if the kid had died when he suddenly started talking to himself and sat straight up and hopped off the bed The first thought that crossed her mind was that this is going to be an interesting year. But after she had snapped out of that phase, she just looked on in in a sense of bewilderment as it seems that the student had just snapped and started to talking himself, and within a minute, hopped out of the bed, seemingly to have completely recovered.
As he started to walk off, Amelia smirked and commented, "And where do you think you are going, Mister... whoever you are." She then started to walk towards his position and added, "To the best of my knowledge, someone still has a fever and should stay in this room until it passes."

"Well you better find this 'someone' and put them in the bed." Apollo began to tighten up his bandages. He was still sweating a bit. "And while you do that, I need to find my jacket. If I dont, I may-" Apollo carried off and stood still for a second. He was back in the Yami world. Darkness flowed around, purple energy roared like thunder. The summoned skull looked at him. He just frowned, then he began to speak. From now on, when you remove the bandages, you can get a hold of me.
Apollo drifted back into consciousness continuing his sentance. "end up freazing to death. Gosh its so cold in here. You should really think about turning up the heater. Br..." Apollo covered his arms, shaking a bit. He looked around to find his coat but couldn't. "Oh right, that nurse is off with it. Well how about this? We duel, and if you win, I'll stay in bed. If not, you show me where the nurse is. Agreed?"

Interesting, so he wants a duel right after he got out of bed? And he wants to duel for a jacket no less, making this request already rather comical in her mind. However, Amelia isn't one to turn down a duel challenge, although one does wonder if he would be up for it though. Taking out her deck, she looked at the student and said, "Before we begin, if you are that cold, grab a blanket or something from the beds"
While she still believed that he was hallucinating from the fever, an extra blanket can't possibly hurt him too badly. She took a seat and shuffled her deck and declared, "Come whenever you are ready, and if you haven't figured it out already, I accept your challenge."

Apollo didn't go for the jacket. "Until I win, you are correct. I believe that elders are generally right, and since you are older then me, you are probably right." He would shiver a bit as he loaded his deck. "But I'll go first." He drew a card. "Hm...I'll set one card face down and set one card in defense mode. Go ahead." Apollo's eyes would slowly close but he would force them open. His bandage would feel a bit tight, but he wasn't going to take it off yet.

Amelia drew her initial hand and started mulling over how she should approach this turn. She started things off by playing the spell card, Allure of Darkness, and met no response. Then, she drew two cards and removed Dark Horus from play. Next up, she activated the quick-play spell, Hand Destruction. While she herself discarded Armageddon Knight and Red-Eyes Wyvern, her opponent discarded Makiu the Magical Mist and Skull Servant. After that, both player drew two cards.
She looked at the cards that he discarded with intrigue, wondering what kind of deck he is running. Amelia settled to finally begin her normal summon of the turn and summoned her other Red-Eyes Wyvern to the field. She then declared an attack with Wyvern, only to be met with Mirror Wall and Skull Dog Marron. Frowning slightly at her loss of 1100 Life Points, she set 2 cards and ended her turn.

Apollo drew a card. "I choose not to pay 2000 lifepoints." Mirror Wall would shatter into pieces. Apollo would then draw a card. "Hm...alright. I'll activate the spell card, heavy storm." He would activate the heavy storm spell card as a giant storm would wip up. The storm would be met with two reckless greeds as Amelia would draw 4 cards. What a waste... Apollo would set one more card face down and one more card in defense mode.

Her draw phase may have been skipped, but her hand is nothing to scoff at either. Amelia decided to test the waters again by using by using Dark World Dealings. Both players drew one card and discarded one. Her opponent discarded another Skull Servant while she opted to discard Sky Scourge Norleras.
Next up, she activated the spell card Monster Gate. As her Wyvern got sent to the graveyard and became a portal to summon another monster, Amelia began to send the cards from her deck to the graveyard. And behold, the very next card was her ace monster, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. Next, she activated the spell card Foolish Burial to send another Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to the graveyard. Grinning, she then said, "All right, time to bring out the big guns."
She held up the card, D.D.R. - Different Dimension Revival and discarded yet another Wyvern to the graveyard to Special Summon the Dark Horus that was removed from play. Next, she pointed to her dragon and declared, "Now, I will activate my dragon's effect. Arise, Red-Eyes Wyvern!" The black dragon roared as it reappeared on the field. With the field set, she declared an attack, only to be met with mirror force. Shrugging slightly at this setback, Amelia activated the effects of 2 of her Wyverns to special summon 2 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon back to the field during her end phase since she did not normal summon or set during this turn.
