Personality:
While not the tallest student around, Jaeger certainly looks like he's underweight. He's a bit tall for his age, standing somewhere close to 5'8'' and weighing around 137 pounds. There doesn't look to be a single shred of muscle on him, but Jaeger doesn't try to look intimidating. He doesn't even usually work out. Jaeger's eyes are a chocolate brown color, nearly always holding that lazy look of his when nothing's going on. His hair is blonde in color, always left to it's own devices. Jaeger has constant bed-head and doesn't even try to tame it, usually only partly running a brush through it in the morning.
Clothing-wise doesn't differ much from the usual Slifer Red uniform. The jacket, though, is constantly open, revealing whatever sort of shirt Jaeger chose to wear that day, the style usually consisting of a light colored shirt with some design on it. Besides the usual, he always has one thing around his neck: a black cord with a bear paw print etched out of a piece of metal. It's his treasure and not something anyone should mess with. As well, he's never seen without some golden-tinted sunglasses gracing the top of his head. There are times when he can be seen wearing dark hued gloves on his hands.
To sum Jaeger up in as few words as possible would include 'laid back'. He acts like he doesn't have a care in the world, taking things as they come and never worrying about the future or the past. He constantly looks half asleep, with a small smile on his face that never seems to leave unless he's sleeping. Few things ever seem to bother Jaeger, though harming his friends is a guaranteed way to tick this fellow off, as well as taking the game Duel Monsters a little too seriously.History:
He thinks of the card game as just that, a game, and rarely ever looks like he's taking it seriously. In all reality, he probably isn't. Still, he uses each duel he's in as a learning experience and takes any chance given to him to improve his deck. Jaeger isn't conceited enough to think his deck is unbeatable and has no reason to be changed.
Jaeger is one optimistic thinker, always trying to see the bright side of things no matter what the given situation. Going along with this, he's a bit of a joker, loving to lighten things up and get a good laugh out of those nearby, even at his own expense! Still, he's easily bored, going off to find new things to occupy his attention or drifting off into his own mind should a conversation or action be taking too long. Even though he has a short attention span, Jaeger can always focus on anything to do with technology. He loves tinkering with electronics. If it runs off of some form of electricity, he'll mess with it.
Friends mean everything to this duelist, even to the point of risking his own deck for them. Once you have Jaeger as a friend, you have him by your side for life. He doesn't try to be assertive or tell others what to do, just going with the flow. He will stick up for his own beliefs, however, and won't let others try to force his opinion one way or another. Jaeger is very set in his ways.
Born to a middle-class couple in the United States, Jaeger was a little trouble maker, always getting himself into some sort of chaos. However, it was mainly from him following the other kids lead. He was never assertive, choosing to take a back seat and just follow along. He had it drilled into his head that what he thought wasn't wrong and he should always just follow what he believes.Status: Slifer Red
Upon entering the last few years of elementary school, Jaeger's friends started the game known as Duel Monsters. One boy even went so far as to give Jaeger a card he didn't need, one Shiba-Warrior Taro. It was what first started Jaeger on the path of the duelist. Though he doesn't use Synchro monsters, the card stuck with him, always staying in his deck as he edited it over the years. Jaeger never took the game seriously, playing along and doing what felt natural at the time, usually leaving him with either barely a victory or a complete fail. Still, as his deck became better, so did his skills until near the end of middle school where he chose to try to enroll in Duel Academy.
The boy barely managed to pass the written exam, having zoned out halfway through it, and was only allowed into the Slifer Red dorms because of his scrape-by victory.
Additional Information:
Jaeger has a weird obsession with the color orange and likes to save the orange M&M's for last whenever he gets a bag.
