"ALL ASHORE!!!!!" the captain of the ferry bellowed in a clear voice so all the students inside could hear. Sakura stood up from her seat and picked up her bags and waited for the door to the dock to open. As it opened, she stepped out onto the wooden planks of the dock that rested just inches over the lapping ocean water. She tossed her long blue hair back behind her shoulders and stepped forward towards land.
She was donned in her newly issued Academy garb. The red skirt and red blazer jacket would immediately tell anyone that she had tested into Slifer Red.....the lowest of dorms. On her left arm she wore the Academy-issued duel disk, also of the Slifer Red color. Over her shoulders she had a full backpack, and in her right hand she carried a small suitcase. On her waist, she wore a simple red belt to match her uniform. Hanging from that belt was a single box, small enough for one deck of cards.
She continued to walk until her feet reached land, and then she stopped for a moment. Setting her suitcase down, she slung her backpack off her shoulder and rested it on the ground. She knelt down to adjust the straps, and then opened it to reposition some of her belongings, as well as to find the map she'd been given. Her first task was to locate the Slifer dorm so she could get settled. Afterwards, she figured she might explore the island, since she didn't have class today.

Evan was relaxing along the beach. His body lay there, with his hands behind his head. Today, he was not donning his usual outfit. Instead of wearing his casual attire, he was in his blue uniform. This was because all of his other clothing was being cleaned. But one thing never changed about whatever he was wearing. He always had a pair of high topped running sneakers on him.
It was then that he heard the boat pull in. A new shipment of students were coming in today. Luckily this batch of students missed out on the hell that ensued earlier. And frankly, Evan envied their timing. Maybe he should have waited until after the incident to have made his transfer. But then again, how was he to know that Demons turned the school into their playground?
When the students had cleared the boat, he saw an Osiris girl with blue hair. He had observed the girl reordering some of her things. Then she pulled out a map of the Academia. It was clear that she needed to find the dorms. Naturally, Evan had gone exploring in the time he had arrived onto the island.
The brown haired boy then lifted his legs upwards, then kicked them down. He then flung himself back onto his feet. After taking a second to brush off his blue coat, he approached the girl. His walk was one with a spring in its step. His expression was a friendly one. "Hey there, need any help?", he asked with a friendly tone.

Sakura jumped a little when she heard his voice call out to her. She quickly zipped up her backpack and jumped to her feet, slinging the pack over her shoulder in the same motion. "H-hi!" she stammered a little, flustered at the approach of a boy. She noticed that he was donned in the crisp, blue blazer of an Obelisk Blue....the highest possible rank one could obtain. NOW she was REALLY nervous. She had tested horribly....landing in Osiris....she totally felt inferior to this guy already.
But he looked friendly, and his voice portrayed his friendliness to her. She smiled, took a deep breath, and moved some hair behind her ear. "Uh....Well, actually, yeah, now that you mention it. I just need to find my dorm...I'm new here, and I don't really know where I am, much less where the dorms are...." she wondered if any other students had had that problem, or if it was just her.

The friendliness expressed by Evan was nothing new. Generally, Evan was a friendly person to all. Hopefully this girl would be just as friendly to him. However, the blue blazer might say otherwise about him. Most Obelisks were a bunch of stuck up blowhards. Evan was an exception to this case. Despite his skill, he would rather allow his abilities to speak for themselves. If anyone asked him about his dueling ability, he would offer them a duel.
After she had warmed up, she had told him her situation. He understood, as he just transferred here last month. And within that month, he became a hero. He had been forced to fight in the battle for the island. However, it was his duel with Rubicante that had contributed to the victory. Even then, he didn't let it go to his head. He was still all about letting his skills speak for themselves.
He then responded to what she had said. "I'll be glad to show you around. And don't worry about it at all. I just transferred here from West branch. Hell, I think everyone has needed help navigating the first time. And need help carrying anything? His tone was kind the whole response. And the final question he had asked had a tone of consideration to it.

Vince was walking along the beach till he saw the boat in the distance, hands in the pocket of his blazer. He saw a common face recognizing him instantly as one of the newer obelisks but knowing them they probably didn't hear much of his success since he didn't duel any one of the demonic influences. but merely avoided them. He whispered to himself, 'I wonda what's all the hubbub about' he muttered to himself as he took a brisk jog to the boat only to see new faces on the block which he laughed and exclaimed. "AAaaawwwwsome!" he yelled out for them to hear as he walked right over with a coy grin.
"Sawp" he asked with a genuine smile, eyes dipped close to blink several times before giving a trade mark silent nod to Evan, before looking at the new girl. "Oh we gotta new bonnie lass? Well pleased to meet ya acquaintance.'" his accent heavy and laid on thick of bits of Australian, but was very understandable.

She gave a warm smile and nodded. "Mm! Thank you so much....uh...." she thought for a moment, trying to recall if he'd told her his name. She was pretty sure he hadn't. "I...uh...I don't think I caught your name?" She prodded gently with her voice as she slung the pack fully over her both shoulders and picked up her suitcase.
Right at that moment, another character entered the scene and he started talking to them, calling her a 'bonnie lass'. She blushed lightly and smiled at him. "Hi!" She kinda liked his accent, having never heard one like it before. It was cute! Now talking to the both of them, she decided to introduce herself. "I'm Sakura.....Sakura Mizhu." She bowed in Japanese fashion and smiled even more at them.

Evan smiled when he got the thanks for his offer. He was glad to see she was nice so far. However, the 'uh made him realize something. He didn't give her his name. She had then asked him for his name. Evan was ready to tell her, then someone else approached.
A fellow Obelisk had come in on the scene. He had nodded towards Evan. This was a kind of mutual thing that the Blue students had done. The highest rank was something to be proud of, but it really didn't mean much to Evan. After all, he got it easily at West Academia, and has maintained it with ease. Evan nodded back towards the boy.
Clearly from his accent and way of speaking, the boy was Australian. The way he spoke made the girl blush. After this, she gave them her name. It was then that he took the chance to give her his name. "Evan Fader, a pleasure to meet you."

Vincent grinned at the female when she began blushing he then offered a hand out to her, "Vincent "The Man" Clair." skillfully rolling off of his tongue his dialect proper but his accent thick. He had his other hand shoved his in blazer as his blue eyes looked up toward the female while he bent down slightly in respect. Even if his blue orbs began to shift downward to more interesting 'parts' of her body.
"Welcome lass to the crazy nut hoose known as Duel Academi!" slurring and emphasizing different letters within his sentence as it still rolled off his tongue in such a manner that it still could be clear.
If she took his hand he would lean to press his gentle lips upon the back of her hand, and then give it a nice firm grip before shaking it.

Not even 5 minutes on this island, and already she seemed to be drawing the attention of the boys. Sakura didn't quite know if that was a good thing or a bad thing, but she wasn't going to complain too much. As of right now, the attention was kinda flattering, and she wasn't quite sure what to say.
"It's nice to meet both of you." she finally said after a moment. She too Vince's hand and gripped softly but firmly at the same time (if that makes any sense).
