Niles was growing more bored by each passing day. The act of being nice was starting to take it's toll on his very soul, if he could lay claim to a soul that is. However this was all about to change, it was almost time for him to begin with his little plans, for now however waiting was all he could do.
Currently he was perched atop a tree branch, his eyes closed and his head set against the tree. The calm air that whisked across duel academy gently moving his hair. Everything was just so serene, so very calm, and everything about it annoyed Niles. Rapidly sitting up from his position he yelled.
"DAMMIT!" his voice was loud. "Why does this world have to be so freakin' boring. I mean seriously, why can't somethin good happen while I wait? Maybe a plane crash or somethin." Since Niles was trying to put on a nice act saying these things was dangerous. If anybody had heard him he may have been in trouble.

"Why stop there?" asked a voice from below.
Aaron, donning his slifer red outfit, was standing below the tree, his arms crossed. He had wandered around the forest regions of Duel Academy as he rather liked being alone for certain periods of time when he stumbled across a bored individual untop a tree branch. He was thinking about ignoring him, but the shout the individual made was too interesting for him to pass on.
"We could hope for a new plaque. That would get the ball rolling, wouldn't you say," said Aaron sarcastically.

Niles head turned downward peering at the person whom had decided to intrude on his alone time. He gave a small sigh, he hated it when people just talked to him out of no where. The fools of this world, a really annoying.
"Yeah I suppose. Perhaps a nuke would get the ball rolling too?" she acted as if he were joking, but he did mean it. Watching a nuke hit some place he was not would be fun. Thought he knew that would never happen in this boring world he had been born in to.
He hopped down from the tree, his eyes falling onto the boy when he hit the ground. His well practiced false smile dawned on his face.
"The name is Niles. Nice to meet'cha." He offered a pale hand to the other person. Every second the smile stayed on his face, was another second his soul died a little inside.

Aaron looked down at the hand, nodded to himself, than looked up at Niles. His hands arms never moved from their crossed position. Who says "meet'cha" anymore? was the only thought that crossed Aaron's mind when he looked at the teenager. His eyes glanced at the yellow jacket the man wore.
Why are all the weirdos....better than me?
"The pleasure's mine...." was all Aaron said.

Niles just smirked at the lack of a hand shake. He retracted his hand, then looked the boy over. By what he had been shown so far the boy was nothing more than a slifer red with an attitude problem. When the time comes, I will make sure to enjoy every ounce of your pain. Niles thought, having decided to target Aaron at a later date and time.
"So what brings the likes of you to this forest?" he tried to strike up a conversation. He was hoping that this boy would simply walk away from him, since this nice act of his was rather annoying. That and he had some planning that he needed to do, and with this boy here bothering him he could not think properly.

Aaron let his arms fall to the side. His left hand stopped slightly, feeling the bulge in his pants pocket where he kept his dueling deck with a heavy look of concentration. Aaron always felt, unlike many other duelists here, that his deck was incomplete. That something was missing, his cards didn't have any synergy between them, that something was just wrong with it. He didn't feel comfortable with it. And he felt that because of it, he would never advance. Always stay a "slifer red". His frequent walks usually was him trying to think about how to improve it. Make it feel more "right".
Aron's left hand completely dropped down now. A grin now replaced his face. "I'm not going to lie...its birdwatching." said Aaron. Nodding to himself, he looked up at the tree tops. "I hear doe doe's are in this region."

Niles studied the boy as his arms dropped down. he noticed that one had stopped before finishing it's fall down. He wondered what exactly was so important to make the arm stop, but soon he brushed it aside as nothing of importance. Straightening his body he placed his hands behind his head, and responded to the boys reason for being out here.
"Birds? There are many birds in this area. To be honest I can't tell one from the other." he offered a small chuckle. Niles yawned softly. This conversation was going no where, but he could not be mean to the boy. Not if he wanted to keep up his nice act.
"I suggest you climb to the top of one of these rather huge trees," he stopped for a second to add a thought, Then jump off and break your neck. "That way you will be able to see the birds better." Don't forget to tell me how the view is from you thirty foot drop. A good scream should suffice. he added again.
