Haruna descended the looming tower of Kaiba Corp in her private elevator, sighing lightly. There had been so many things to take care of. Paperwork. The "God" Incident, as it was so dubiously named, seemed to stir up quite a bit of controversy between what happened at her academy and what parents heard. She had no idea of what happened with it other than what Alan reported to her.
She'd given a brief sigh once again as she'd watched the numbers of the elevator marker decrease lower and lower. It was an odd feeling in the depths of her mind. She hadn't been this stressed out in a really long time. At least, not since before Takeshi died... Rubbing her temples in attempt to cease her aching head, she'd wondered what she would do for tonight. Maybe just go out for a night of drinking to try and relax... yeah, that sounded about right... Maybe round up a few fri-...
Then she'd realized that she had no real friends to hang out with. Employees, sure. And then there were those random tidbits of people she'd met on a daily basis. But no true friends in which she could confide in. It was practically depressing... Well. A night alone wasn't so bad either. She'd huddled her coat around her shoulders and shivered lightly. It was getting cold. Winter was here...
As the elevator stopped, she'd pressed a few buttons on the keypad in front of her and the door had opened, allowing her passage outside, into the lobby of the Kaiba Corp building. Walking out, she'd greeted the people who passed by with a friendly wave and gave her farewells for the night. She needed rest...
Walking out, she'd felt the sudden burst of cold air in her face and all around her, forcing her to huddle the coat around her tighter. Maybe there was a warm bar somewhere around here where she could enjoy dinner and a good wine... Looking around for a taxi of some sort, she'd waited by the street-side, wondering when it'd come.
