As the ground shook violently Alexander fell to the ground in what could have been described as a rather comical manner. He waited until the tremor seemed to have dissapeared before arising once more, looking out over the field again to see that a few people were actually trying to fight through the terracotta soldiers and the trees that made their way towards the academy.
Figuring that if he were to do anything he would need to get closer he broke off into a run once more, arriving at what seemed to be the back of the Earth Demons forces and looking around to see what he could find. It certainly wouldn't be easy seeing as he didn't even had a description but he was fairly sure the demon would be the only person in the area who wasn't acting frantically.

Ethan's mind was racing as he kept looking for the puppet master, ducking and dodging the various fauna attacking him. All he needed was to find the person pulling all the strings, and then he would be able to put an end to this nightmare once and for all.

When you turn around and there is a some weird stone dude standing with it's arm outstretched onto you shoulders you kind of freak out. It was a stone soldier, What the fuck could he do? Sandpaper it to death? Would probably be dead by the time he could sandpaper the ear off, It wasn't a bad idea but it wasn't very practical. He gave a frightened smile to the soldier. Maybe if he was nice it would think twice before separating Kyo from his lower body or his head from his body. So he gave it a little tap on the soldier with a friendly grin but dropped down onto his knees to plead straight after.
"I'm sorry, Look I'm not even meant to be here. I'll do anything, just please don't kill me! Anything!"
If only he had a British dwarf of some kind come to his rescue...

There would be no mercy...the Terra Cotta put it's hands forcefully on Kyo and his legs were instantly bound with the Earth. He would soon become a full Terra Cotta warrior. Unable to act as he wanted...only how the Cotta's master wanted. At the same time, the trent charged and slammed it's fist into the doors of Duel Academy pounding down the doors as they slid a good 5 yards from their position.
With this a sinister laugh echoed through the courtyard. The Soldiers took their prisoners and then stopped as they all turned to face the center of the courtyard a large circle being formed. The ground there shifted and shook...it then started to push upwards forming a spire that stuck straight out from the ground like a beacon. The ground was solid trying to knock it over by conventional means would be the most foolish thing to do.
Then upon the top of the spire...two figures appeared from it...rising from the earth like a tree. From there stood a human looking male. His body hard as armor and the earth around him fashioned into a General's Armor. He had golden tan skin and green messy hair filled with leaves. As he stood, he also had in his hand...the currently lifeless form of one Ryouichi Matsumoto. His clothes torn, his body battered....the life he once hand seemingly drained.
Scarmilogne no longer need this foolish human boy...his paitents had won the war. And now he would claim his prize...the world itself!
"Humans!!! I am your new ruler...the master of all the Demons...Scarmilogne...bow to me!!!!" called out the demon as he held up Ryouichi like a trophy.

Kyo starred at the Terra Cotta, He frowned at the thing. He couldn't believe it still want to his brains. Shocking. Kyo poked the Terra Cotta in the face as it froze his legs. The Terra Cotta turned to face 'The Master' and Kyo thought he would run away but being frozen into the earth, yeah it's kinda hard to run. "You're a fucking douche bag!"
Kyo shouted up the spire to the man on the top. Kyo didn't like being turned into a stone freak. So he wasn't in a really happy mood. He continued to shout abuse up the spire and then looked back at the Terra who had caught him "This is all your fault"

Ethan looked up at the puppetmaster. This wasn't what he expected, but he knew that this was his one chance to stop this madman. Right here, right now.
"Hey!" Ethan shouted to the demon. "Yeah, you! get down here!"
It likely wasn't the most appropriate way to address the thing but it would certainly get his attention.
"You want to take this place? You're gonna have to beat me to get there! Now come down here and fight like a man!" Ethan whipped out a duel disk and considered his options. He assumed his opponent would be using an earth deck. He could be using any number of ideas...gadgets, plants, beast swarm, rock defense, he could go on...so he'd have to pick something that would do okay against the lot of them. The deck he had in mind was his best bet... here's hoping it'll work...

"Shit..." He knew not to go and touch the Terra Cotta with his bare hands and he didn't have a chance to hit it with his hilt before-
BOOM!!!
The door was broken in and Alan had to duck down to the side in order to get out of the way of the Terra Cotta. He then hopped nimbly up onto the side railing and then spotted it... the boy in the demon's hand, and the demon walking towards them.
"Oh... come on..." He murmered quietly and he raised his sword in front of him, looking around. Where was Irou at the Spirit Festival when you needed him? This was definitely a wide-enough space for his type of combat...

Scar laughed as he heard the people speak to him. The foolish humans...they dared the challenge him. They would soon know the full fury of the earth itself. Scar then took a harsh grip of the boy's collar, and leapt from his spire. As he landed...the spire shattered into boulders...as each landed in the courtyard...they all rose as Terra Cotta Warriors. He grinned and then turned towards Alan.
"Here, you shrimp....you can have my host back...he's of no used to me anymore." said Scar as he threw Ryou's limp body right at Alan. "Now...which of you humans dares to step before me in battle?!"

"That would be me." Ethan said, standing defiantly in front of the demon. This was it, he knew that if he lost...well, school would be the least of his worries. But he planned on winning, and nothing could sway him from that line of thinking.
"You and me, one on one. Course, you can always run away..."

"Ut percutio tu exsisto impleo." Alan spat at him viciously. It was a quote, yet he could not remember from who... 'to stab you would bring great satisfaction'. He grit his teeth vehemently and bent down to touch the boy... but first he tapped the boy once with the hilt of his sword to see if any of the rock would permeate his body. It did not seem to be as such. He took the boy's pulse and closed his eyes... the boy was barely alive. How long had he been possessed?
He looked over at Kyo, who was beside him and frozen, to the duel that was about to commence, and his heart stopped. The student from before was about to duel him... oh gods no...
But he couldn't leave this spot... there were too many terra cotta.
"Damn... why now..." He growled.

Scar heard one of the people he trapped in the terra cotta and turned to him. At that moment he snapped his fingers and the dirt dissolved from his body. His anger clear as he raised a sharp stalagmite to point right near his face.
"You little man...better run...now...if I ever see you...or hear your pathetic mouth again...you will be buried alive!" he said to Kyo his eyes flaring with his power.

He was in the hallways when they doors came crashing down. But before that he was simply watching it all through the glass as an army of clay soldiers marched to the school. It didn't really bother him too much but with all the shouting he heard and with what he saw he managed to figure out there was one person to blame; however, that person appeared to be in hiding among the army. It was only until the spirit came loose that Zekai was a bit troubled. It wasn't because of the army or such- to be defeated by such a cowardly spirit he simply wouldn't allow. In any case, he doubted just one spirit would prevail over the many duelists here.
In that perspective he might as well save some of the school so that it wouldn't close down and then he would really be bored with nothing to do. Approaching where the front doors used to be, space was being distorted as a mask appeared over his face and a dark outfit replaced the one he was currently wearing. It would be troublesome, after all, if someone knew who he was. In a distorted voice he asked the man with the sword, "It would be a shame if the school came crumbling down, wouldn't you agree? Are you willing to sacrifice everything and leave the tools of success to those who remain here?" As he said this, not only did the shadows started appearing behind him, but a faint image of King Ha Des was slowly coming into vision, bearing a twisted grin.
"Let me put this bluntly- I will allow people to use their monster spirits to defend the school grounds as long as we duel for the entertainment of King Ha Des. He will decide on the stakes only after you choose to agree. While you have everything to lose, you must place your trust in humanity and hope that they will rescue the school and simply not run away under the protection of their spirits. Do you accept these terms?" Zekai couldn't help but give a small smile, as the situation was a perfect trial to see how humane humanity was and whether if it was truly their time to step down as the dominant species on Earth.
[(OOC: Radius of the shadow realm would only extend so that the front of the school is covered, not far enough for someone to attack the spirit but large enough to protect the school.

The Earth lord had told him to run. He was going to. As fats as he could. Maybe it would be better not to get involved. Kyo turned around and was about to start running until the back of his pocket grew a bright light and all of a sudden there was a big ass dragon standing in front of him. Kyo had recognized it as Stardust Dragon but his Duel disk wasn't on, There was no way for it to be real. Kyo touched the dragon and felt it's scaly skin. Yeah it was real. It was all a bit too much for Kyo.
"Okay then, Right then, What the fuck is going on now?"
Kyo staggered around feeling dizzy and swaying form side to side. The dragon let out a roar that knocked Kyo off his feet but destroying the Terra that had caught him once before.
"What the hell...!? Kyo Takashi....Signing out...."
Kyo's body hit the floor unconscious. His mind had given up. Real big ass dragons, Real big ass tree, Real big ass Stone warriors and real small ass British sword fighting dwarfs. He was out cold and wasn't looking like he was going to come around soon.

((Actually, Zekai, I don't accept that your shadow powers would be able to do that. HOWEVER, I have made it so that the Spirit Festival has come early and the barrier between the Spirit and Human Realm is pierced, making duel spirits solid. Go nuts.
I also have permission from Jay to use Irou during this event.))
He tried to make a grab for Kyo to pull him back before more appeared, Irou floating beside him and in his way. He didn't notice Irou come down to Earth however, and his head collided with Irou's torso.
He blinked. Wait... what?
He stared up at Irou. The samurai's visored eyes looked down at him as he stood with his nodachi over his shoulder. Then the smallest of smiles appeared on the samurai's face...
Irou turned and swung up his sword hilt, and then he cracked it on one of the heads of the terra cotta. The armor cracked and then shattered under the strain, spewing out an unconscious Ra girl. The samurai tightened his grip and looked to Alan.
"It seems I can help after all... Alan." Irou commented smoothly. He then went in for the attack, and started to push back the terra cotta away from Alan and Kyo.
"Can you m-?" Alan said to Kyo, worried, but then he saw him collapse. He would ask how Irou and King Ha Des was able to do this later... for now someone had just broken out of one of these things. He felt Kyo's pulse, looking in worry at the girl.

Post by Robert Zanrou on Nov 28, 2009 17:04:31 GMT -5
Robert had awoken to the sounds of violence. An army of Terracotta attacked the school, the final demon leading them. Overtaking students, and destroying the school slowly, the final demon made his move. Robert would have been an easy victim, had something not guided him away. What he had been beckoned by had answered an important question for him.
When he had reached the point of beckoning, two grand figures stood before him. The hero of the arena, Heraklinos was wielding his shield and axe proudly. The great emperor of the arena, Gyzarus was up in the air. These two were the power source of his deck. However, they weren't the cause of his nightmares.
After a few seconds, the hero spoke up. "So, you've finally found your way to us, have you? Its about time, but I don't blame you at all. As a matter of fact, your timing couldn't have been better." Afterward, the Gyzarus spoke up. "The elemental demon of earth has made his move. He will attempt world conquest, so we must stand in the way. We MUST stop the demon!"
With a nod, Robert accepted what they had to say. Surprisingly, Robert wasn't shocked or intimidated by them at all. He had Ojama Red and Ojama Blue as Duel Spirit partners already. As a matter of fact, he kind of felt like an idiot for not realizing that they were the power of the deck.
However, as if he was reading Robert's mind, Gyzarus put a hand on his shoulder in a supporting manner. "Don't beat yourself up, we are a more powerful breed than the Ojama brothers. Our previous master sealed us in the deck as a test to see if you could awaken us. It took time, but you did it."
Just then, Heraklinos gave Robert a sword, the Gladius. With a nod, Heraklinos then said "The more we talk, the more advantage the demon builds. Lets go kick some ass! And don't worry boy, we can handle ourselves."
After their little talk, Robert nodded and all three charged at the army. Gyzarus took to the sky and started to pelt the army with a barrage of small blasts with his two wrist mounted cannons. He was being careful as to not cause major harm to the students trapped within terracotta shells. The blasts wouldn't cause major damage to those who were human, but would go through the clay and brush.
Meanwhile, Heraklinos was taking on the terracotta with his shield and his bare hands. Blocking their spears and punching them out. The ones that weren't covering students would have his fist rip straight through them. However, he was using his fists as to not kill students.
Being inexperienced with weapons, Robert was attempting to take on as few terracotta as he could. And he aimed to take them out as fast as possible. However, he would make sure that they weren't occupied by students before attacking. If they weren't holding a student, he would try to cut them down with the sword. If they were, he would try to avoid them, hoping someone better would be able to free them.
