Sparken disembarked from the plain he was on, a grin on his face as he stood in the academy grounds. The plane was returning behind him, back to the airport, taking his old life away with it. It was weird... He just woke up on the plane and upon asking, he heard he was being sent to Duel Academy, on his father's wishes. That had surprised him. He didn't think that his dad would have done anything like that for him Huh... Maybe he's changing again... For the better. a smile on his face, he looked around, trying to see if people would be anywhere around.

11/24/09 Robert looked out towards the ocean. The vast waters that bordered the Academia were a sight to behold. The sunshine had hit the water, reflecting its colors off of it. The mix of the serene blue and the shades of yellow, orange and red was truly a sight to behold. And as an artist, it was truly inspirational to him. Robert had come to this place in order to find some peace. Duncan had disappeared to god knows where, and demons were dropping like flies, if not already dropped by now. The new Vice Headmaster, Zephyrus Dunavant; had helped him tame the power of his Gladial Beasts. Perhaps now there would be a moment of peace on this island. He had also heard that the Condemned Dorm was burned to cinders. He had heard that some kid by the name of Evan Fader had dueled Rubicante, the fire demon. The demon had forced him in when he was taking pictures. She wanted to make him her next murder victim, or something along those lines. However, the kid wouldn't go down without a fight. He came out on top, and had rescued the demon's host. Suddenly, something had snapped the British boy out of his thoughts. A plane was docking. A new student at this time? Oh well, it has been happening for quite a bit. Probably one of those rich blokes arriving. Hopefully he wasn't some kid with a stick shoved right up his ass. Out of the plane came a boy. The plane had left, the boy smiling. Clearly the boy had wanted to be here. But who didn't want to be here? As far as Robert was concerned, it was an easy education. For anyone who knows how to play this game, its an easy education. Sadly though, there were some who didn't know how to play. Robert walked up to the boy. With a friendly tone, Robert said "Hey there, I'm Robert Zanrou."

Sparken just perked up as he noticed someone walking towards him, grinning back at him. "Ah. Hey there. Name's Sparken Rubato." Well, if he was rich, he didn't seem to be stuck up. In fact, he seemed a lot more like a normal, popular kid than anything. "I just got here. DAd apparently decided to finally cut me a break and I got enrolled here." He just held out his hand as he did so, saying, "Nice to meet you, Robert." Of course, there was also the nagging darkness in the back of his head, as if eager to see what kind of person he was. It was shrugged aside easily, not really given a second thought.

This kid wasn't so bad after all. Despite the fact that he was rich, he wasn't stuck up. The fact that he had met his greeting was good news for him. Sparken could possibly be a new friend of his. Hopefully Robert would be able to follow through with this.
"You just got here, huh?" he asked kindly. Robert had then thought up an idea. What if he gave the new kid a tour of the Academia? Maybe then they would be able to bond together. Either way, he had hopes that they could be friends. Besides, he wanted to make more friends now that his troubles had halted for now.
"What if I gave you a tour of the place?" Robert had put up his offer. Hopefully the boy would accept his offer.
