So the girl was taken to the hospital now. However, Evan still broke a major rule by entering the condemned dorm. However, his only other choice was to burn in a wall of fire. But a question remained, would the staff understand? Even if they did, they might have to punish him for entering anyway.
All he wanted to do was take some pictures before the place was demolished. However, that Rubicante forced him inside of the building. And then it was still a situation of life or death. He chose to fight the fire elemental. After the battle, Evan came out on top. This liberated Hibana Kazan, the unfortunate shell for Rubicante.
However, the charred forest and the ashes of the former condemned dorm still remained. It was unknown what they would do with the area now. However, Evan would get a slew of punishment for just entering, he could feel it down his spine. However, Medic Nagato would vouch for him. Maybe that would soften the blow, but he guessed by only a little.
How was he to know Rubicante took refuge in the Abandoned Dorm? And would Hibana be punished for Rubicante's actions in her body? Whatever the result, it was awkward to dash through the island with a nude girl with first degree burns cradled in his arms. Luckily he managed to find Medic Nagato first. He also listened carefully to his story, and debriefed Evan on the situation.
The angel of gales by the name of Silpheed came to his side. Silpheed put a hand on his shoulder in a gesture of support. "Don't worry Evan, I'm sure that the staff will understand the situation. I mean you were forced to enter the dorm, the evidence is all around." Evan nodded with a slight smile.
Hopefully Silpheed was right in his judgment. But for now, Evan would sit in the waiting chair. It was comforting to hear Silpheed's support. However, he wasn't so sure if the rest of the staff would be as understanding as Medic Nagato was. Evan's head hung low in a state of worry. Now he would await his fate, he was now a candidate to be expelled.

It was one of those rare days in which most of the stall was out or off teaching classes. The Halls of the administration offices were pretty much and empty and it was in these moments that Vahn choose to put in his office hours. It was nearing midday and having finished all of his paperwork, Vahn was getting ready to head out once again. There were several things around the Academy that he had wanted to look into, despite his principles. Between the magical forces and the student disappearances, even Vahn couldn't help but get involved.
After throwing his cape back on and locking his office Vahn slowly made his way down the hall. He wasn't expecting to see anyone so the sight of a what seems like a lone student caught him somewhat by surprise. "Hm....Do you need something?"
Vahn asked walked up to the Obelisk.

Evan's hands were held together. He was worried as hell, and wanted answers. If he was going to be expelled, he would rather get it over with now. If not, then he'd rather hear the good news. Either way, he really hoped he wouldn't get expelled, as it was really a life or death choice to enter the condemned dorm.
However, another factor of worry was present. His duel with Rubicante would be worth MORE punishment. First of all, he just fought a demon. If he were to have lost, he would be just another charred stiff. And of course, the duel with Rubicante burned down the building, and burnt some of the forest with it. As far as he knew, that was arson.
Considering the fact that arson was a possible charge, Evan was worried even more. He could not only get his ass expelled, but arrested. And if anyone saw him run down with the naked Hibana, that could be an accusation of rape. Great, now he was looking down his life being ruined. Hopefully they'd at least allow him to present his case before the verdict.
Just then, he heard a door open, close and lock up. A cloaked man emerged from the room. Headmaster Gale was apparently leaving his office. Just then, the Headmaster had noticed the worried boy. When he asked his question, Evan sighed. Assuming the Headmaster knew of the situation at hand, Evan nodded. He then asked "Is it my time to state my case? If I can't, has a verdict been reached?"

Of course, it would not only be ACADEMY staff members that would come down to here... as soon as he had landed in Japan he had heard about these incidents. He was now standing within the staff room with his hands behind his back and a quiet stare on his small face. He was gazing at the pair of them over his tiny spectacles, his brown eyes searching both the boy and the headmaster. He could wait to engage in this conversation... first he wanted to observe how the headmaster would handle this if he didn't know who he was.
He had on his suit of course, and his hair was tied in a ponytail behind his head... he could not be too deceptive in his appearance. He looked to be pretty young, about in his early twenties, but even younger because of his 4'0 height. A clipboard was in his hands, along with a pen.
How would Professor Gale handle this?

Vahn stood there for a few moments and looked the boy over. He had read the report earlier which spoke of the recent activity regarding deadly magic across the Academy and the incident at the Abandoned Dorm. The Dorm was a magnet for all things foul and even Vahn usually kept his distance from the area, but even so a lot of students still went there out of sheer curiosity. Some saw nothing of interest and others would end up like this boy here, in some sort of traumatic event. Vahn was a calm individual who was in no way out to get anyone expelled without good reason. If anything, he would hear what the boy had to say first. "You must be the Evan Fader from the Abandoned Dorm case. I've read through the report on the incident, however I think an account from the person who was there would be more accurate. Wouldn't you agree? Normally I wouldn't get involved in such business, but seeing as I'm already here......you may plead your case with me. I remind you to be truthful. Even slight alterations in detail will be as clear as lightning to me."Vahn didn't want to seem angry or make Evan frightened. If anything, he wanted to at least help him avoid being expelled. Vahn spoke to him in a calm manner. This had aided Evan in relaxing a little bit. He understood that he had to be truthful in his case. Either way, there was no reason to lie at all. He knew that his reasons for entering the condemned dorm would set him free. And with the evidence that Medic Nagato gathered earlier, he might have a chance at remaining here.
With a sigh, Evan had started speaking. His tone was stable, and he was clearly aiming to get his case across. "Well, I knew that the area would be torn down eventually. And since this is my senior year, and I would probably not get to see it again, I decided to take pictures. I did adhere to the allotted distance as I was taking pictures.
Just then, a fire elemental by the name of Rubicante summoned a wall of fire behind me. It was either enter the area, or die. I had chosen to break the rules over death. However, my plan was to bust out of a back door or window, no exploration of the place. Then she burned off all exits, and revealed herself to me. She had intended for me to be her next victim.
However, I wouldn't go down without a fight. So the two of us dueled, she set up barriers for us to be protected during our duel. As our life points would deplete, the barrier around the player would too. Meanwhile, the dorm was burning around us. I managed to defeat her, and planned to leave.
However, I had then learned that Rubicante forcefully possessed the girl. She had been hurt from the fire, but was protected a little. Her clothing had burned off as a result of the fire. I had picked her up and hauled ass out of there. After running out of there, I had eventually run into Medic Nagato. He debriefed me on the situation, and had went to investigate.
Later, Medic Nagato had come back with pictures. He has them on an SD card if you want them. The pictures document the evidence supporting my claim. Hopefully they will fully support my case. He had then finished up his case. Hopefully this would go in his favor, he had hoped he wouldn't get arrested or expelled for it.

Post by Amy Morrison on Nov 27, 2009 13:08:49 GMT -5
"Oh, for the love of..." Amy was this close to taking a much needed break when she happened upon the tale of the Obelisk student and how he had defeated Rubicante. And he was afraid of getting expelled?
"That's enough for me." Amy said to the student as she walked over. "This inquiry is finished, student acquitted on all charges, and I'm ordering the records of the inquiry be expunged. You can go back to your dorm."
If there was heat to be taken, Amy would do it. The boy was scared stiff, and by the grace of all that's holy managed to escape the clutches of a demon who, by his account, had killed several students already. There was no way she was going to punish him for that.
The kid was a hero. Even if she was operating a little out of her jurisdiction, not being the student's dorm advisor, she knew the most about the situation, and how close the boy had come to dying. If Gale or Padmore didn't like it, tough.

He had his hands behind his back and couldn't help but notice that Gale was doing better on this then he first anticipated. He peered over his spectacles at the next professor to walk into the room... the only remaining female of the staff, thus she must be Amy Morrison. The teacher who had had to lock down the school due to six demons... he'd have to do an inquiry into her as well. This was a sour moment.
He nodded in approval however at Morrison's ruling. "Yes... I do believe that will be satisfactory for the CEO. You're free to go if you'd like, Mr. Fader." Alan said matter-of-factly. Then he turned his gaze back towards the Headmaster. "Unless you've something you'd like to add. In which case, go right ahead... I'll be delighted to hear it." He said to him smoothly.

The other staff members seemed to have handled this in the same way that Vahn would have. There was no reason at all to expel this student. If anything the deed itself was quite impressive, especially for a student.
"Well....there you have it. You're free to go Mr. Fader. Morrison seems to have spoken for us all. If our beloved CEO Haruna has a problem with this, she can take it up with me."
Vahn closed with one of his usual semi sarcastic statements then looked over to Alan and slowly moved his hand over the small man's head to measure the height difference.
"Hm....if no one else will be needing me, I will take my leave."
And with that he was on his way. ((Couldn't resist Kat, let the Alan shenanigans resume))

Alan's eyeglasses glinted dangerously as Vahn left, and then it seemed that he was smirking as he looked sideways at the door where he left. He grinned maniacally, almost as if pondering the different ways he could kill Vahn... he didn't like when people called him short.
"I don't think he realizes that I'm coming to work here... heh... heh heh..." He twitched a little and then started to walk away, whistling to himself as he went to go and pack his things into Nagano's old office.

The three teachers had all decided to let him go. This was great news for the boy. They all understood what had happened to him. All of this fear built up for nothing. But how was he supposed to know? He had just gotten to this school. But the experience is over now, and now he wants to move on.
"Thank you so much!" he exclaimed with excitement in his tone. After his comment, the headmaster had used a gesture to call the man short. It was there that a rivalry was formed before him. And this is when he had heard that the man was a teacher. After this, Evan had gotten to the main hall.
After a brief conversation with the medic, Evan was walking to his dorm. Now that he had some spring in his step again, Evan decided to climb into his window. Climbing up the Obelisk Blue boy's dorm, he had then opened the window by sliding a hard, yet thin sheet between the window. He pulled it up, removing the hinge holding the window in place. After entering, he reapplied the window hinge.
After this hellish ordeal, the boy would now be able to rest. And he was even offered a short leave before classes would resume. Hopefully his parents would be as forgiving as the staff.
