The Abandoned Dorm was a condemned dorm. It has had a terrible reputation for a tragic event. Soon, it was going to be demolished. However, it was unknown what was going to be put in its place. Until then, it was barred from student entry.
There were many ways to get deported. One of the easiest ways to get deported was trespassing on the condemned dorm. For one, it is a dangerous place to be. However, a major reason, a covered up one was the evil it contained. Evan didn't know this, and he wasn't going to find out unless he had a damn good reason to enter.
Evan was just outside of the gates, taking pictures of it. He wasn't stupid enough to pass the gates. However, the Abandoned Dorm did excite him quite a bit. He had just gotten here though, so he'd rather not get himself in that kind of trouble. But he would do the second best thing, stand at an adequate distance, and start snapping photos of it.
Even though he so badly wanted to enter, he wouldn't. He wasn't scared of the danger inside, but rather of the punishment he'd receive. He didn't want to be expelled for doing something so reckless. Even though he always used to climb scaffolding at the West Academia Headmaster's dismay. However, he wouldn't do something that was so easily considered expulsion worthy.

Hibana, however, cared little about the rules at this point. Having helped cause a class spiral into chaos, raped a student in front of a teacher, attacked and molested many other female students, and quite possible put one in the hospital, she knew she was screwed if they found her. After watching Farfello get taken down, she had grown scared...paranoid. She didn't want to go down. And this paranoia had led to her hiding out in the Abandoned Dorm. She knew no one would go there, since it was against the rules...the ones that did, a couple of nameless Slifer students, were met with a swift but unbearably painful death...scorched beyond recognition, with little but charred skeletons remaining. At this point she didn't care...the Fire Demon has snapped.
It was at this point that she noticed Evan outside the dorm. Her initial thought was to simply torch him like she did to the other two, but she was bored, so she decided to play with him instead. Soon, a wall of fire would form behind him and begin to close in on him. Either he break one of the biggest laws on the island, or face a firey death. Fun.

Evan felt something hot behind him. What the hell was this heat? When he looked behind him, he noticed a wall of fire close in on him. Wait, where the hell did this fire come from? The heat was genuine, so this was real fire. He was backed against the fence, so his only escape was to leap over the fence. However, he might get expelled for doing so.
However, there was no alternative for entering forbidden grounds. If anyone was watching, they'd notice the wall of fire closing in on Evan. Even if nobody watched, then the ground would be scorched. This was an official life or death situation, so he decided to break the rules. He would rather live and have to answer questions than to burn to death.
With a rather quick and nimble leap, Evan was over the gate. He made a mad dash towards the entrance of the forbidden dorm. What the hell was this place? And where the HELL did that wall of flame just come from? Oh well, he would have to exit out a rear entrance or a window to escape. He then made a mad dash around the building. It wasn't of panic, but he was looking for a way to escape.

Unfortunately for him, every possible exit he would approach would be blocked by a burst of flame. He was officially trapped inside. Soon, the practically psychotic demon approached him. She was a mess, having hidden here for quite a while, patches of her dressed burned away...nothing indecent was revealed, but it was still very noticeable. "You shouldn't have come in here, boy...don't you know this place is forbidden? Now I'm afraid I'll have to kill you...just like the other two who dared to break the rules..." She motioned to the the scorched remains of the two very dead students. If looking at her and the fact that she ruthlessly murdered two students wasn't enough of a hint, then her voice definitely made it clear that she had snapped...it would have sent chills down the spine of Satan himself.

Evan watched as the demon blocked off all exits. "So, you're the one that tried to kill me!?" he said with an angry tone. As she continued, he looked to the two charred students. She was evil indeed, and he would have to stop her. "I refuse to go down without a fight though!" he exclaimed, pulling out his duel disk, sliding his deck in. Just then, Dark Simorgh, Guardian Eatos and Silpheed appeared behind him.
He then got into a limber stance, just in case she'd try to fling something at him. She was a very imposing demon indeed. He was scared, but he managed to stand bravely. There was no way in hell he could let this witch win. After killing two students, he refused to let her go on. If he lost, he could be victim number three. And worst of all, she'd continue her rampage.

She grins sadistically. Ironically, the one that she that had led her to hiding here now had her intrigued. "Very well...but let's make this interesting..." And, within the next second, the walls of the dorm catch fire, and soon, the entire building was on fire. The two in the building, however, were safe "I've surrounded both of us with a...well, for lack of a better word, "barrier". We are safe from the flames, heat and smoke filling this building. However, as Life Points decrease, so does the strength of the barrier. Slowly, but gradually, you will feel the effects of our surrounding. Also, it will last until we leave the dorm...so...basically, the winner will be able to leave unharmed, and the loser will perish." She smiles as her duel disk, appropriately named Inferno, appeared on her arm "And now...I'll let you start...then you shall write in the flames of damnation!"

The barrier that surrounded them safeguarded them from the inferno. So, she really wanted to play games now, did she? His life was now on the line, he wouldn't back down. If she is to leave unharmed, she will continue her reign of terror. That was a much worse prospect than perishing in fire. This was now truly a duel within the Inferno of Doom.
She gave him the green light to start this duel. He had better be careful in this duel, otherwise he'd be destroyed. He then hit the 'shuffle' button on his duel disk. After the deck was finished shuffling, he grabbed his starting hand of five. During the Draw Phase, he shouted "Draw!" This made his hand go to its max of six.
"I play Destiny Draw! I discard Dasher to draw two!" He then discarded Dasher in order to draw two cards. "I set one backfield and end."

She smirked at his opening move. She had at least expected a monster, but...his funeral. Drawing her starting hand, she took a look and nodded "Very well. If you feel the need to leave yourself defenseless, I'm not going to complain. I summon Volcanic Counter in Attack Mode, and it will attack your Life Points directly!" A vaguely dog-like demon with flames at the joints of each of its legs appears, then lets loose with a stream of flame from its mouth. Hibana waits to see if the attack goes through...and it did. With a slight grin, she watched as 300 points of damage was taken from his Life Points. It didn't seem like much, but anyone who's faced off against Volcanics should know that damage adds up quickly. "That is but a small taste of what you're in for. I end my turn!" ---------------- Life Point - 8000 Cards in Hand - 5 Monsters - Volcanic Counter (300/1300) Spell/Trap - none

The 300 points of damage didn't seem like much indeed. But he knew that something was coming, as he has faced down Volcanic decks before. "Draw!" he shouted, smiling at his next draw, showing Hibana the Stratos he drew into. "Effect of Dasher! Once per duel, when I draw into a monster, I can special summon it!" Stratos then flew onto the field. "Effect of Stratos! When he is normal summoned or special summoned, I can either blow up backfields up to the number of other elemental heroes, destiny heroes and evil heroes I control, or I can search out a hero from my deck. I will search out Destiny Hero - Doom Lord!" The deck then popped the card out for him to pull, shuffling itself.
"I play Allure of Darkness! I draw two and remove Dark Simorgh from play." He then put his Dark Simorgh in the RFG slot. "I play Reinforcement of the Army! I search out Diamond Dude to the hand." He then picked the card out of the deck as it popped up, then it shuffled itself. "I normal summon Diamond Dude!" The diamond coated vigilante then jumped onto the field. "Effect of Diamond Dude! I can pick up one card off the top of the deck. If its a normal spell, I send it to the grave and can activate it during the next Standby Phase. Otherwise, its sent to the bottom of my deck." He then picked up a card, and flashed it at Hibana.
"Destiny Draw. Since it activates effects, I won't need to pay the cost." He then put in the grave. "Battle! Destiny Hero Diamond Dude, attack Volcanic Counter!" Diamonds were flung, shredding the hell hound as it tried to bite him. "Elemental Hero Stratos! Direct Attack!" The hero then swung his fist at Hibana. "When you take battle damage, Volcanic Counter forces itself to be removed. If there are any other fire monsters in your grave, I take burn equal to the damage. But since Volcanic Counter was your only Fire monster, I take no burn. I end." he said, confident in his play.

She curses loudly under her breath as she's dealt a whopping 2900 points of damage...she definitely did not see that coming. But she kept her cool. She wasn't out of this just yet. She draws her card, nodding lightly "Alright, I'll summon Volcanic Rocket (1900/1400) in Attack Mode, which lets me search through my deck for a Blaze Accelerator. And I'll go ahead and play that as well. Next, I'll have my Rocket attack your Stratos!" A monster that looked somewhat like a pterodactyl appear and dive-bombs his hero, destroying it. Hibana smiles and nods "I end" ------------- Life Point - 5100 Cards in Hand - 5 Monsters - Volcanic Rocket (1900/1400) Spell/Trap - Blaze Accelerator Removed From Play - Volcanic Counter

Stratos was taken out, and he lost 100 life points. That was a big mistake on her part, taking out his Wind monster. Dasher's effect was expended, so there was no reason to keep him in the grave. "Draw!" he shouted, looking at his next card, Guardian Eatos. With a grin, he said "Standby Phase, the Destiny Draw sent off by Dasher allows me to draw two card." His hand was now an eight card hand.
Main Phase one, he had a plan to end this once and for all. And he only took four hundred points of damage this entire duel. "I activate Destiny Draw! I discard Doom Lord to draw two!" His final Destiny Draw expended, is plan would now be set in motion. His two draws, Dark Grepher and Dark Armed Dragon would end this duel.
"I activate D.D.Revival! I discard a card to special summon a monster removed from play. Take the field, Dark Simorgh!" The corrupted blew onto the field with dark winds, fanning the flames of the inferno. "Three Dark monsters and one Wind monster populate my graveyard. I special summon Dark Armed Dragon!" The corrupted Armed Dragon took the field with an intimidating roar. "Effect of Dark Armed Dragon! I remove Destiny Hero Dasher from play to destroy Blaze Accelerator!" The dragon then smashed the machine with its tail. "Effect of Dark Armed Dragon! I remove Destiny Hero Doom Lord to destroy Volcanic Rocket!" The dragon then impaled the creature with its tail, killing it. "It comes down to one Dark and one Wind. I remove both to special summon Dark Simorgh from my hand!" A second Dark Simorgh took the field. "Now, there are none. "I special summon Guardian Eatos!" The playful eagle guardian took the field in a flirtatious pose.
Now, the time has come to finish the demon. "Battle! Guardian Eatos Direct Attack!" The eagle guardian then fired a powerful blast of wind at her. "Dark Simorgh! Finish her! Dark Winds!" She then fired a blast from her mouth, heading towards Rubicante. It was a powerful combination of Darkness and Wind. This would cause the inferno to burn down the building in moments if it landed.

With each card he played, she panicked a little more. Then, before she realized it, her Life Points were at 0. She had lost the duel. "No...this can't...how...DAMN YOU!!" In an explosion of rage, flames surrounded her, shooting up and blasting through the ceiling, which was already on the verge of collapsing. In the process, her clothes were completely burned away, and several burns were left on her body. Thankfully, the damage wasn't nearly as bad as it would have been, since the demon hadn't completely left her body, thus protecting her from the flames. But, once the demon left her body, however, she was left defenseless. Collapsing onto the floor, she was now at the mercy of the burning building they were in.

As he watched, the girl who was the shell was freed. So the girl wasn't really responsible for what she did? She was innocent, and all those thoughts about the girl being a monster were revoked. He felt terrible for his judgment. But if it wasn't for him, she wouldn't have been separated from the demon.
However, she would perish in the fire. The innocent who was forced to do these terrible deeds was going to pay the price. However, he now intended to save her life. The barrier would guard him until he would leave, huh? Applying this, he might be able to save the girl by getting her under his barrier and running out. Dashing towards her, he picked up her unconscious body from the ground. After cradling her in his arms, he then ran out of the building.
Like a bat out of hell, he was out of there. The wall of flame that forced him to enter was gone. He kicked the gate open during his mad dash. After he had gained some distance, a massive explosion of fire erupted from the building. The boy then ran towards the main building, hopefully there he would get some help.
