Ryouichi...or should I say Scar...was currently sitting upon the mountain over looking the area around him. He would conquer this place. As he sat there, his eyes were closed and his senses came out as he felt the vibrations of the very earth around him. He was brash...but he was a warrior of the planet itself. He would show those foolish brothers and sisters that he is by far the best.
With Divine out of the way...it left things much more interesting. Though he was sad that he could not take out Divine himself. As he felt out...it was as if the earth itself reacted to his aura...it echoed back to him...it would alert him of others coming up the mountain. He had surpressed the tactical mind of the boy he possessed. He appreciated his tactical ability...but the way he used it was pathetic. Using his charms to gain strategies...it was stupid.
"There is no need for such frivolous strategy..." was all he said as he battered down the spirit of the boy he had enslaved.

The Academy Life.
One would call it the thrill of a lifetime while another would say it was just a phase in life. Currently, Marvelo didn't know what to really think about it. His head boggled with stories of his past meeting with the Headmaster. If what they were discussing were true then the stories in class and even for the tablets were true. The spirits were out in this world trying to build in power. They could be anywhere, anyone,...anything, couldn't they?
Marvelo scratched his head at the thought. The last thing he pushed his life through was fear. Fear was irrelevant to him. It only described the weak against the strong. From his past, he could fully say he was a strong person for as a duelist he questioned himself. His knowledge of the game and strategies with it were beyond belief to most. But even the tiniest flaw outside of the norm and everything just felt distressed. He dueled off the opponent, but if the opponent flipped the switch then...
He sighed.
This when his wandering mind moved his body to the mountains. A secure place with nothing but just nature and a view of the island. He found himself up here majority of the time to just relax. To look off at the sunset and think about what's the come. He was already an official for Kaiba Corp but who knew where that could take him. He could probably be the new Yugi Motou if he wanted, but it was mostly not possible. Kicking a pebble out the way, Marvelo's head turned up quickly with curiosity as he heard a voice. Last time he came in on someone talking he learned that Shadow Magic was real. What would happen now?
Turning the corner he only saw a boy sitting at the cliff. Marvelo sighed. He hadn't caught what he had stated but it was probably something small. Debating he should continue or talk, Marvelo just went with instinct and approached the boy.
"Great day isn't it?" Marvelo stated. He stopped at the edge of the cliff looking off in the same direction as Ryouichi.

He felt every step...he felt every move. He was on his turf here in the mountain. But for now he decided he would simply stay calm and stood up as he kept his back to the young man. He put his voice to what normally was Ryouichi Matsumoto. It was a good day...indeed. Was this boy coming to challenge or what else was he here for.
"Well, wasn't expecting another guy up here...shame you aren't a girl. So...what brings you here?" said Scar as Ryouichi.

Today, Evan was going to explore the mountains. Dressed in his casual attire, with his Obelisk Blue coat on him, he would make a climb. Mountains were indeed a fun way to gain exercise. Plus, it was a great environment to try out some Parkour. Hopefully, today would prove to be a good day.
Evan's climb up the mountains was grueling, yet smooth at the same time. As someone who practiced Parkour actively, he was able to adapt to the environment easily. He would now want to come here more often. As he neared the top, Dark Simorgh appeared to him.
"Evan, I sense something strange at the top of the mountain. Be very careful when you reach the top"
With a nod, Evan made his way to the top, walking in on two fellow Obelisks. It didn't seem strange at first, but Dark Simorgh always knew best. With a sigh, Evan mustered the word "Hello?" in order to see what would come of it. He was loosened up by his hike to the top. Just in case the source of Dark Simorgh's worry would attack him, he would do his best to dodge.

"Yeah," Marvelo said to Ryouichi. "Guess I should have brought one with me."
Before continuing he heard the timid call of a boy behind him. Turning his head he saw the Obelisk Blue coming up the mountain. Funny how they all appeared to find each other. At least it was better than finding some obnoxious Slifer that couldn't duel. But he'd keep his mouth shut before one popped up.
"Yo," Marvelo said to him. "What's up?"

"Yeah...believe me the company of a woman helps make things so much more better." said Ryouichi with a grin as he continued to simply look out towards the academy.
As he stood there, he decided to act like Ryou normally would considering he never seen them before. The boy's tenancies had their uses and he could use this to simply wait. As he stood there, he hoped to not rile things up until he was ready. He was the earth...he was as patient as the greatest sage.

Marvelo awaited an answer from the new comer but turned back around when quiet time was passing. He folded his arms and returned to the gaze out to the sky. He remembered a "good luck" piece of advice his father gave him that was taken from the past teachings. "Always have your business facing the sunrise, that way your business rises each day. If you face it towards sunset, then you'll fall behind." He wondered how that could relate to the Academy.
"So what's your name?" Marvelo asked to finally break the silence. They were all Obelisk so it couldn't be a "weird timing question".

The boy who answered him seemed nice enough. However, what if he was the cause of Dark Simorgh's worry? He would have to think of a reason why his tone was so timid. "I just decided to take a hike up the mountain today. However, I'm still kind of nervous meeting people around here." Then his memories turned to the book flung at his face. The bruises from the hard cover book being thrown into his face still remained. Even though this really wasn't really a reason to shy away from others, it might just work.
He had then looked over in the direction of the others. "Well, I'm Evan Fader. What are your names?" he said. He sounded like he was loosening up.

"Ryouichi...how's tricks?" asked Scar just being how Ryou normally would be.
As he stood there, he grinned with a subtle darkness about him. He wouldn't let these two know who he was just yet. Maybe he would...if he thought either of them was worth his time. Scar's mind thought of the possible battles ahead...he saw the duel spirits...but kept calm...just as the earth most times always was.

Marvelo paused for a second. There was a piece of pride in him that diverted him from directly stating his name. He couldn't wait for the day where people would instantly yell his name without him even knowing them. Having to have bodyguards to keep the repeated pile of feminine hormones from tackling him. Unfortunately, all he could do was sigh and dream. The battle to fame was far more difficult that imagined.
"Marvelo," he said. Turning back to Evan a questionable look appeared on his face. It appeared even Ryouichi had asked something. He wasn't sure on it's meaning but it was probably from the past. Thinking back on it, with so much Kaiba Corp "work" he hadn't really socialized with people. Getting better is all that matters in the end anyway. "Uh...I just decided to go out searching today. Maybe come across one of those "elemental creatures" or whatever everyone is calling them. I'll believe when I see it though."
Still Marvelo remained resisted to what he already knew to be truth. But it brought up conversation. If they were really out their someone had to be the one to go out and defeat them. And then everyone noticing his power to defeat ancient spirits. It would be one step closer to power and fame. Marvelo gritted his teeth at the thought.

Ryouichi and Marvelo were the names of the two. Well, this might prove to be interesting. Two fellow Obelisks sat atop the mountain. Three students within the top ranked dorm just hanging out atop the mountain. Maybe this would be a good place to meet more people.
Then Marvelo brought up 'elemental creatures.' Was there something going down on this island? He had just arrived recently, and he had heard rumors. Was this what Dark Simorgh was so worried about? Were one of these two an elemental? It would seem Marvelo detected the Duel Spirit, and was acting. But on the other hand, it could have been this Ryouichi boy. Or the elemental could be hiding elsewhere.
Finally, Evan replied "Well then, good luck on your battle. I hope you catch this elemental creature you speak of. I'm going to continue my hike now, nice meeting you both." After taking a sip of his water, Evan had made his hike towards other parts of the mountain. Evan was now out of this conversation.
((OOC: I'd stay, but Evan duels Rubicante, and for story purposes, he doesn't see the truth about Ryouichi))

Alexander had come from the courtyard, taking the path he'd taken when he met the Maxwell twins he found himself once again facing two Obelisk students in the midst of the conversation. What was it with Obelisk students and the mountains anyway? To him they were just a bunch of rocks filled with a variety of ways in which to injure yourself. At night they froze you're arse off and during the day you couldn't see through the cloud most of the time.
He doubted the Earth Demon was nearby, seeing as there were two students infront of him right now and he was quite sure the light demon had inhabited a fellow Ra Student, and a girl at that. He doubted the earth Demon would be making time to sit down and get to to know the people whose world they would be destroying. Regardless he really didn't know where to go next anyway and so right now sticking in a group seemed like the best thing to do.
He made his way over to the two and realised he'd never seen either of them around the academy before. He looked them over and found no really distinctive features of the two. He hadn't seen many Obelisks around though so he'd probably recognise them easily enough.
"Hey, what brings you guys up here?"
