Alex had been making his way to the top of the mountain since the early hours of the morning, over the years a path had been carved in from thousands of students making their way up, without it Alex would likely have lost his way in the thick morning mist that plagued the air around him. He was unsure of just how far it was to the top of the mountain and he'd forgotten to bring a watch but he was sure he'd been climbing for at least half-an-hour.
He stopped for a moment as the ground began to level out and wondered if he had yet reached the top. Deciding after a while it was too diffiuclt to keep on going in the mist he decided to wait at least until he could see five metres infront of himself.

"Why did we decide to come out this early"
"We! .... We!.... this was your idea, you were the one who said that the view would be nice"
"Yes your right ... JUST NOT THIS EARLY!"
Faye was in a bad mood, "why?"you might you ask, was she in a bad mood, well for one thing she hadn't gotten a lot of sleep, because she had spent most of the evening, and a good portion of the early morning, reading, and had been very annoyed when he brother had emptied a cup of water over her head in order to wake her up.
"You told me to get you up at that time"
"Yes I know!"
"That what are you complaining about, your the one who stayed up reading all night"
Faye ground her teeth but didn't say anything, not out loud anyway, her brother looked at her sharply.
"Watch your language!" he chided slightly as a mischievous look came into her eyes.
"But I didn't SAY anything"
"You didn't have to"
Frustrated, she tapped, more like violently kicked, a rock off the edge, watching it tumble out into space, venting her frustrations, her identically dressed twin stopped, his hands in his pockets.
"Next time I'll wake you up later then" he said with a slight note of apology hidden within the casualness, there was a pause ... then she gave a sigh, kicking another rock out into space, before she turned back to him, her previously grumpy expression turned into her usual cheery self.
"Okay, I'll hold you to that" she said sparkily, before she roughly grabbed him by the wrist and started dragging him through the mists.
"Cummon!, cummon!, cummon!, don;t want to spend all day walking when we can spend 5 minutes running she said hurriedly.
Maxene rolled his eyes as his sibling dragged him by one arm up the path, for someone who was supposed to genetically be almost EXACTLY the same ... she sure was different ... mentally at any rate.

It started with what sounded like arguing, then a rock falling off the adge of the cliff nearby. Alex wondered just how close that cliff edge was, this certainly wasn't the safest place to be around the academy. As the voices got closer he tried to decipher some of what was being said, he thought he had gotten at least the jist of it.
It was difficult to figure out exactly where the two voices were, their voices echoed of the mountain face and the mist was n't exactly helping much either. Instead he decided to call out on his own, if they knew the way to the top he would certainly appreciate some guidance in this weather.
"Hello? Is there anyone there?"

Faye stopped, however her hand didn't dragging her sibling forward until he collided with her back, causing her to stumble forward slight.
"What where your going" she snapped as her twin made a spluttering sound and began to say something along the lines of a retort when she shushed him with a finger on her lips.
"I thought I heard something" she said, cocking her head to one side, and straining her eyes into the fog, which appeared to be beginning to loosen up a little.
"Hello? did someone say something" she called out into the lightening mist as he brother rolled his eyes once again, first she was moody, now she was hearing things, what next ... hallucinations?
"Of all the people I could get twinned with I pick a loony" a small part of his head thought, an action which earned him a sharp look from his sister, one with VERY long and pointy dagger buried in it.

Alexander heard the footsteps come to a close and was quite sure h knew where they were now. He got up and began to walk slowly through the mist, not far off he could see the faint outlines of two figures, at least that confirmed his suspicion that there were two of them.
He heard one of them call out and was now firm in his opinion that these were two other students who were making their way towards the summit of the mounatin as well. He called out in reply.
"Yea, just infront of you... I think..."

'Just in-front' turned out to be closer then Faye estimated, she took a few tentative steps forward, then bumped into someone, bouncing off whoever it was. She lost her balance, slipping backwards and crashed into her brother, who went down like a stack of pins.
She landed on her backside with a light thump!, feeling her head smack into her brother's chest, and felt him wince in pain, she blinekd at the figure in the mist, her expression owlish and her head still cocked to one side, but her expression one of mirth.
"Sorry about that" she laughed, giving a small chuckle "I guess the fog was so thick I didn't see you"

As the fog continued to lift Alex was starting to make out more definative features of the two figures, who now lay on the ground infront of him. He couldn't help but stifle a laugh when the two fell. It was fairly obvious now that of the two one was a girl and one was a boy, yet they looked rather similair in appearnce dispite this.
"You guys are in Obelisk?"
He stated this more as a matter of fact that a question.

By this point both Twins were chuckling merrily, as they both got to their feet, standing side-by-side, as they began speaking, sporadically switching between as they did so, more out of habit then anything more weird.
"Yes, we're both-" Faye started, before letting her brother continue, and it sort of carried on from there, their speech was rapid as if the thoughts were trying to escape from them.
"-In Obelisk Blue, we-"
"-Were fortunate to do-"
"-well enough in the-"
"-exams to get this high, although-."
"-we were expecting to-"
"-get into Ra Yellow but-"
"-apparently we did better-"
"-then we thought" Faye finished with a flourish, then she smiled.
"I'm Faye-" she said sparkily, giving her hair a small toss before gesturing to her brother and letting him speak
"-and I'm Maxene" he said, with a small, respectful inclination of the head
"We're Twins" they chorused, of course, if it was not noticeable up until now, the fog had gone so it was, even the facial differences were mild, they were similarly dressed to, their voices even sounded roughly the same, as if people couldn;t get any more kerfuzzled.

Alexander was certainly confused, he eyed to the two styrangely for a moment and wondered how they managed to finish eachother's sentences so well. Ignoring the weirdness for a moment he thoughout to introduce himself.
"I'm Alexander, I arrived yesterday, my mum is working with Industrial Illusions in town so I ended up coming here."
He stopped for a moment and an awkward silence filled the now clear air. Clearing his throat he tried to make some small talk, something he was inately horrible at.
"So are you guys American?"

"It depends really-"
"-Actually we were-"
"-born in-"
"-Domino City-"
"-but-"
"-we don't-"
"-really consider-"
"-ourselves here-"
"-or there when-"
"-its comes to-"
"-where we're-"
"-from."
"So in other words .... maybe, nice to meet you Alex" they chorused again, there was a small pause after they finished, Maxene turned to Faye, his expression a little kerfuzzled.
"I suppose we could be American, after all Mum is-"
"-yes I know that, but don't forget Dad is-"
"-Point ... but surely since-"
"-Don't get technical M, you'll only get your self more confused." his Sibling finished flippantly, turning back to face Alex.
"So what brings you up here at this time in the morning?" she asked curiously
