It all came down to this, the advantage Secret Village now turned against Ryusuke. And with Dark Simorgh in the picture, he could not set a potentially life saving backfield. If he were to draw into the right monster, the game would be over. The opponent did put him in some moments of standstill, especially with that Dark Red Enchanter.
"Draw!" he shouted, drawing his next card with a grin. "I remove Stardust Dragon from play to special summon Silpheed!" The wind angel then came onto the field. "Battle! Silpheed! Dark Simorgh! Direct Attack!" The two then finished the job together. This duel would now come to a conclusion. Even though he couldn't bring out Guardian Eatos for a second time, he got the job done.
The blast of wind from Silpheed's scepter whittled his life down to 2050. Then, the corrupted bird of fertility blasted him with dark winds. This blow was fatal, reducing his remaining 2050 life to zero. With a smile, Evan nodded to his opponent. This was a nod to tell him 'good game.'

Ryusuke was relieved that the duel was over, not in regret, but rather in excitement. Next time the two dueled, he wouldn't be so quick to judge his opponent however it was lunch time and Ryusuke was quite famished. Deactivate-ing his Duel Disk, Ryusuke began to walk back towards the academy, patting Evan on his shoulder as he passed by.
"Well have to do this again some time."

After deactivating his duel disk, Evan himself was famished. I mean, who wouldn't be famished, especially with someone who lives life like Evan. Always on the move, and moving in powerful ways. But now that it was time for lunch, Evan could be at ease. He would now be able to relieve himself of his famished state.
When Ryusuke patted him on the shoulder and proposed they duel again, Evan nodded happily. He would hope to have frequent opponents like him. Evan would hope to make his senior year a year to remember. From just doing parkour, to having some frequent opponents. And now that he was on new territory, this could be accomplished.
Evan then started to make a dash for the main building. One final run before lunch to really get the appetite rolling always helped him. Despite how much food he would eat, he always did some parkour after meals. This is how he's kept up his healthy figure. But hopefully he won't get a book to the face for it again.
