Sitting down in the courtyard, he had smiled for once. It had been weeks since his nightmares had started, but they died out. His dreams were once again normal. That man, Zephyrus was to thank for that. Their duel had given him insight on his deck. Despite his personality, there was no covering up the fact that he was in his debt.
His Ra blazer retained its hood, but was a bit heavier now. The weather was starting to get colder, so he had equipped himself for it. His boots and pants were still the same, but he always wore his black leather gloves. This allowed him to keep his hand warm in cold times.
Mood wise, he was happy for a change. Those nightmares were horrible, but now they're over. Hopefully they didn't cause too much trouble for those around him. Even if they did, the trouble was over, and he would be there to make up for it. The shattered calm was put back together.

The path that lay before her lead our young loud mouthed little girl towards another section of the courtyard. As she passed through the general area, she spotted a lad in a Ra Yellow blazer. She calmly approached him.
"Hey, you're like, a Ra Yellow or somethin', right? Well like, I'm, like, lookin' for the dorms 'cause, like, I can't find them right now." A faint blush as she felt she'd have to address her forgetfulness. "I mean, like, it's not that I fergot[/li][li] where it was or like, anythin' like that, but with all this stuff to take in, and this bein' my first day and all, it's easy for a gal like me to get lost. Lend a fellow Ra a hand, will ya'?"
She smirked politely, as though she were doing him a huge favour just by talking to him.
[*Not a typo. That's how she pronounces it.]

Robert had then noticed the girl in the big yellow coat. She must have been a Ra, but then again, there were some people outside of uniform. However, when she asked him for help to his dorm, his assumption was confirmed. He had then gotten up from the bench, smiling politely. As someone who was a first year, he understood that this place could be a maze.
"Sure, I'll take you to the Ra dorms." he said with a kind tone, walking towards the Ra Dorm area. He was walking at a somewhat fast pace, but enough for her to keep up with. "By the way, what's your name?" he asked with a smile. If he was going to walk with her, he might as well strike a conversation with her.

Her boots made a soft ruffling noise as she trottd along, attempting to catch up as she walked. It was a little off putting to have to strain to keep up, but she figured that since she was the most beautiful, smart, athletic, most perfect girl ever, walking a bit faster shouldn't have been such a problem. Even as she stumbled a pinch when she stepped on a rock she tried her best not to let it affect her stride.
As they walked, the question he posted had caused her to smirked, glad that this boy had the sense to know it was wise to always, always, ALWAYS talk about her. As always, she spoke rather quickly. "My name is, like, Paige Turner. But I'm not, like, some kind of nerdo or somethin'. I mean, I am really smart or whatever, but my parents just thought it would be really funny to give me, like, some pun as a name." she rolled her eyes.
She figured she might as well perform an act of charity, and give him a chance to talk to her. "So what's, like, yer[/li][li] name or somethin'?"

Grooving to the music was what she did best. Masami loved her songs, her playlists, her DJ’s, and whatever auditory stimulation she could get. Most of the time, the melodious syncopations were some of the best mixes that she could find, and she enjoyed the stylized and eclectic mixes that she had on her mp3 player. She sported the Tiesto, the Armin van Buuren, the David Guetta, and a whole host of other DJ remixes that were difficult to find in high quality format. Masami was simply a music lover that few others could match, and she got so lost in her music that she frequently forewent other stuff in her life.
Such as paying attention. Instead of checking where she was going, Masami was too busy bobbing her head to her enormous headphones and pacing through the courtyard. She liked the courtyard. It gave her a sense of connectivity to the rest of the world whenever she saw her classmates and peers walk to and fro their classes, and she always enjoyed the feeling of seeing someone she recognized. Despite being a tad asocial—or at least that was how her lack of fraternizing sometimes seemed—she still liked getting sucked into a conversation, especially if it concerned the arts, music, or dueling.
She was so absorbed with her music that she didn’t notice that she almost walked into another student, a Ra boy by the looks of it. The potential collision was averted by a graceful and sudden sidestep from Masami’s part, and their two bodies missed by inches. She nodded her head at her, halfheartedly mentioning a distracted—though entirely sincere, “Sorry,” as she walked past him. Even if she did often lose sense of time and space in her own activities, Masami was not a rude person by any stretch.

Looking at the girl, he smiled "Paige Turner, eh? Its a beautiful name if you ask me." he said with a kind tone. And how could he have assumed she was a nerd? The way she spoke wasn't what one would make out as nerdy. And he has never assumed anyone's personality or traits by their name. A name was you parent's choice, not your own.
When she asked for his name, he said "Robert Zanrou." When the girl with the headphones nearly collided with him, he could well see she was into her music. Must have been something good she was listening to. When she gave the distracted, yet sincere apology, he gave a nod to her. The kind of nod that was equal to a warm 'apology accepted.'

Blushing politely at his words, she greatly enjoyed when people complimented her. She repeated his name several times, wordlessly in her head until she was sure she got it down.
However, before she got a chance to talk about herself some more, a careless Obelisk Blue student managed to avoid bumping into them. Sure, she hadn't even remotely been touched by the Obelisk Blue female, but the woman had almost collided with someone who was currently flattering her. As far as Paige was concerned, such an act was a declaration of war. Anyone she took even the lightest bit of interest in was a very important person, and assaulting a person of interest would not stand.
Her cute, joyful face soon turned to one of anger, and annoyance. "Hey lady!" She yelled out, unaware that she, Paige, was actually about a month older then the Obelisk. "We were like, walking over here! Like, pay attention to where you're going you!" Seemed Paige hadn't quite accepted the apology.

She continued on her way, the swirling beat of Tiesto banging through her headphones. She didn’t really hear Robert voice anything towards her, but he flashed a nod that was enough for Masami to keep moving. For all she knew—and for however little she cared—he could have asked her to fuck off, but she was a little too consumed in her beats care about such trifling things such as human interaction. There was a religious experience with the music, especially when it concerned such talented DJ’s as the one she was listening to at that moment.
The other girl didn’t seem so kind looking, and she mouthed a few things fiercely at her. Masami shrugged her shoulders, raising her hands to her sides innocently. There were always people that tended to overreact to small things, and she had always learned to live and let live. Without a word, she turned and continued to walk, bobbing her head to the speedy rhythm, which she had considered her favorite part of the song.

(D'aww, I was hoping for an awesome shouting match. ;_;)
She crossed her hands across her chest angrily, a loud noise as she tried to pretend that she didn't actually hurt a rather sensitive area. "Hmph, the nerve of some people." she stated cooly, tossing her short hair back with her left. One quick nod of her head and it was set back into place.
"So, you were, like, showin' me ta' the Ra Yellow dorm and, like, remarkin' how pretty I was, right?" she spoke to the male Ra, notably less interested in the girl now.

When the girl had shouted at the Obelisk girl, he was surprised. When she turned her focus back to him, he said "Er, right. Anyway, this way to the Ra Yellow dorms. And yeah, you are pretty." However, she was also pretty LOUD. Oh well, as long as he didn't spark anything. He then lead her towards the Ra Dorms, his path was a bit off of the track, but quicker than most. When he spent time mapping out the island, he had found many paths for sneaking and cutting. Not that he would screw around to the point where he could be late.

All the detours and sudden turns, the winding pathways that compromised his "shortcut", while definately being faster then taking the regular path, did seem to take it's toll on the Ra Yellow girl. However, she did her best not to show off her fatigue. After all, she was supposed to be the prettiest, smartest, and most athletic girl ever in the entire history of forever, and as such she'd have to prove it. Probably not a good idea to have worn these boots though.
His words seemed to distract her from her own slight bit of misery for a second. "Like, thanks a bunch!" she responded politely before giggling lightly. At last the pair had arrived before the Ra Yellow facility. A quick bow before she headed towards the building, in a rather quick hurry.
