The wind howled with gale force outside of the small ruined stone room that Leon sat in, waiting. It was snowing outside, hard, as well, and it had been a pain in the ass for Leon to get up to these ruins. However, the hike up was just more training, he supposed. He was not wearing his training clothes, it was much too cold for that. Instead, he was wearing simple gray suit, under a large down jacket.
He waited a few more minutes, then stood up and walked outside the ruined building. He was waiting for his teacher, Vahn Gale to show up, and stood out in the snow, watching the blank area around them, all vision cut off by the snow. Why did all their sessions have to be in the mountains...just because Vahn was a hermit..He sighed and continued waiting, watching where he predicted his teacher would show up.

"You've arrived early. How...unexpected."
But was it really such a surprise? Growth and progress were relative to time and Leon had certainly learned much. Not only that but most, if not all of his bad habits were broken. That wasn't to say his personality was entirely different, but he defiantly wasn't the same insolent punk that Vahn had met that one time. Every time they trained Vahn couldn't help but hope that this was the successor he desired. Gale was wearing his usual clothes, not that much of it was visible beneath the large cape which covered his body.
"When I took this from you, you were a lost cause. Your experiences since then have been harnessed into knowledge and your training, into skill. Accept your disk and show me what you have learned thus far."
Wasting no time, as always, Vahn drew Leon's disk from his cape and held it out to him.

Leon took back his old duel disc. He looked it over, as Vahn had kept it in perfect condition...the same bright polished red, the small flower at the end that used to be his callsign...He frowned and put it on. Somehow, it didn't seem to fit him anymore. He needed to customize a new one, probably seeing an old friend in town about it. However, now, he had to duel his teacher, as they did every few days to test. "I hope you won't go easy on me, Vahn." He just smiled and held out his duel disc, his deck in place and the cold wind no longer distracting his attention.
