"Next!"
The man moved forward to the counter to try to check on where his baggage was.
"I said NEXT!"
"Uh... ma'am, there is someone in front of you."
He was looking up above the counter as a young woman's face came into view. The quite small man raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything at all. Barely standing at four feet tall, Alan Padmore was quite used to this sort of behaviour and nonsense... however at the same time he couldn't be sure whether the clerk was genuinely not seeing him, or whether she was joking.
"Well hello there madam." The man pushed his spectacles up. A bemused smile appeared on his face at the woman's shock. Apparently she had honestly not seen him. How quaint. He put on one of his best smiles and put up his flight information on the table.
"Forgive me madam, I just arrived on American Airlines bus 246, I was wondering whether you could point me in the right direction of the luggage rack?" The very obviously British man spoke in perfect Japanese. He brushed one of his long auburn bangs out of his brown eyes and stared up at her with amusement as the Japanese woman pointed towards a direction.
He looked around, and then saw a sign that said the flight that he was on in the middle of the luggage area.
"Ah! Brilliant! Arigatou goziamasu!" Alan said quite cheerfully. He made his way over with his small legs towards the luggage bay and then sighed as he looked at the overly tall luggage belt.
"Now. What inventive way do I have to devise today?" He murmered to himself as he looked around. He didn't want to exert too much effort over this. He still had to wear this suit to his office later today, and he didnt' feel like getting changed if it got wrinkled.

Haruna gave a light yawn, feeling a little groggy since it was still morning. After all, she'd had to wake up early and make preparations for the things to do today. One of those things was to pick up a recent employee from the airport who had just arrived from America. Haruna's current appearance was one meant to try and impress this employee, if he wasn't already impressed with Haruna from the other side of the Pacific. She'd already seen his files and had a good idea of what to expect. A short person who seemed and looked like a child. However, his mind wasn't an ordinary thing, which was exactly why Haruna decided to take him into the main branch of Kaiba Corp in Japan and not give him some scrub's job in America. Perhaps he'd be one of those fanboys who could amuse Haruna. Yes, those were the most fun ones. The fanboy employees that she'd sometimes have to discharge for stalking her. Not that it was surprising. It was actually rather flattering...~ In any case, Haruna now had to pick him up and was looking all around the airport for any one person who could resemble him. She'd then seen a person near the baggage claim area and smiled to herself. Jackpot. She'd promptly walked over to the person with a warm smile and walking with a certain level of elegance and flair, noticing that he was having trouble when he was trying to get his stuff. Perhaps she could help. Tapping his shoulder lightly to get his attention, she'd giggled a bit and got ready to say something with a semi-leveled seriousness. "Mr. Padmore? I believe you are my newest employee."

The twenty-three year old man was one of those respectful sort of fellows. In fact to be frank, he honestly kept his emotions bottled up behind a charming smile. However right now the British man was gazing at the belt in dismay and wondering at what he would do when he felt a tap upon his shoulder. Of course, with Alan these sorts of taps usually meant two things. The first thing was that the person was far taller then himself, as was usually the case in this world. He was tall for a dwarf, while only suffering from pituitary dwarfism. However he was still quite short. The second thing usually consisted of someone wanting his picture like he was a part of a petting zoo. That was sometimes quite irritating, and at a time like this, VERY irritating. However he was polite. It had been imprinted into his mind by his elder sister from a very young age. Braelyn... he would dearly miss her to be honest.
He turned towards the source of the tapping and came to one conclusion. Yes, this being was quite taller then himself. He was also positive that it was female, considering that his chin was right above her pelvis and he could clearly see her curvacious waist. In fact, his first view was of her navel. He blinked a couple of times at this view before he started to look up over his glasses to realize that his head was right underneath her lush bosom.
He stepped back gracefully and blinked up at the face. It was a very attractive face to be sure, and it was a good draw away from her breasts, which were not her eyes. Her eyes were in fact a brilliant greenish hue, large and lovely, almost like jade in his opinion. Her hair was a bright blonde colour that ran down her back and her skin had a lovely complection. Her face was unmarred by unsightly wrinkles and thus he concluded that she was indeed quite young. He pushed his spectacles up his nose once again and wondered at her speech... her newest employee?
"Yes... that is my name... you must be Miss Shizuoka." In his mind, he had thought to call her Ms. Shizuoka, however this thought escaped him. Her appearance was much too young to be a simple Ms. He did however extend his hand. He knew that he was young to be at a point where he would be transferred to the Japanese branch of Kaiba Corp, and she looked incredibly young to be its head. However its previous head had run the company while still in high school. He supposed that she had to be commended to take over from such a brilliant youth genius.
"It's a pleasure to meet you madam." He said quite gracefully. He kept his eyes upon her own the entire time as he held out his hand. He looked rather young in his appearance, albeit he wore a green business suit with a red tie. There was nothing saying that he wasn't dressed professionally, however he knew that he would most likely not be taken seriously for the first little while... not until he showed his abilities.

"The pleasure is all mine, Mr. Padmore! But it would be more suited to call me Haruna. I'll be leaving that decision up to you, though. After all, I'm a modern boss and I'm not terribly strict~ However, if you don't work, I will fire you, after all~! Just be aware of what you're doing and we'll be like best friends~!"
Haruna nodded at Alan and gave a gentle, sweet smile. It wasn't like he didn't seem capable. In fact, he seemed like he was more than capable. And it had amused her to no end. He was certainly respectable on top of those other aspects of his personality. Perhaps working with him would be more than fun for her.
Out of the corner of her eye, she'd noticed a certain bag. For some reason, it just stood out among the masses of other bags on the conveyor belt. Maybe it was just that it was black among the rest of the bags. Maybe it was the Union Jack stamp of approval insignia on it. Either way, it made Haruna giggle a bit before pointing it out to Alan.
"By the way, is that perhaps your bag?"

He pushed his glasses up his nose and blinked as he went to gaze amongst the bags. He thought he caught a glimpse of the blue of the flag and he beamed brightly. "Why yes! Thank you!" He said to her as he walked to grab it. He managed to catch it and then braced himself to take it off the conveyer belt.
"By the way... if we're on first name terms... Alan's mine..." He said. He was fumbling with the handle as he spoke and seemed to be doing something along the lines of lifting the handle while positioning his body underneath it to try to drag it up off of the belt whilst at the same time moving along with the belt. It was a very complicated gesture.
"I'm usually quite aware mi-... Haruna. You won't have to worry about that." Alan grunted. Inside he speculated about the age of Miss Haruna. She seemed to be terribly young... hell... younger then him even. That was a scary thought.

Haruna was slightly amused with the trouble Alan was having with his bag and walked alongside him, keeping her hands behind her back and stifling whatever giggles tried to surface themselves. She'd merely kept up her smile and cleared her throat a bit, step by step continuing to wonder when she should offer her assistance.
"Well, Mr. Padmore, I certainly hope you don't mind me calling you 'Alan' then. Anyways, as I said, I'm here to pick you up. Shall we go?"
At least, that was her first thought to say until she could no longer help it and smirked a bit, taking a hand from behind her back and offering it to Alan in the form of offering help. After all, the movement of his body with the package belt was all too funny and she could sense people laughing in the background. Other people seemed to be surprised that she was even talking to him.
"Need a little help there, Alan? Or might it be okay to call you 'Al'?"

"Alan is quite fine- GAH!" Well... Alan had gotten it off the conveyor belt, to tell the truth... unfortunately he had dropped the bag onto him and had fallen over. Now he was currently sprawled backwards on the ground looking up at the ceiling with a dazed look, while he heard snickers around him. It really reminded him of grade school... and irritated him. These people were supposed to have grown up by now... the morons.
"Yes please..." He murmered quietly, sweatdropping a little. He tended to ignore when people were laughing at him... twenty-three years of it did that to a man.

Haruna had picked the suitcase off of him and shot cold, icy glares at each of the passing bystanders. As if sensing her hostility, they'd continued their business and went back to their own devices. Looking back down at Alan, she'd offered a hand down to him in order to help him up and sighed lightly.
"I do apologize. The Japanese aren't so hospitable and some are just cruel. But, for as long as you stay under my wing, I can promise to protect you if you'd like, Alan. After all, I am one of the strongest people in the world."
Haruna had passed a warm smile onto him and pulled out a small brush, ready to clean off the dirt from his suit after he'd fallen down. After all, she knew all too well how much dirt was on the floor of airports in general. And all from different countries, no less.

"Oh I'm quite alright without protection. It's everyday that I get that sort of attention anyway Haruna." He commented brightly as he took her hand and stood to his feet. He accepted the brush gratefully and flicked away the dirt with it, smiling lightly as he did. It seemed to be a bit of a shield though, as if he were just trying not to rage. He finished with the brush and handed it back lightly, while he bent down to take the handle of the trollybag out of its casing.
"However, I do greatly appreciate it. Now, I hear that I'm to be the representation to Duel Academy for Kaiba Corp?" Alan asked as he started to pull away the bag on its wheels, smiling lightly and making light conversation with Haruna.
