The boredom securing the field took presence. Unfortunately, nothing more came than a click and an addition to the hand. Slow seconds passed by for Standby and moves were too be made.
Terraforming added the Majestic Kingdom of Endymion to the hand. In swift motion the field took it's presence and the Magical Citadel covered the grounds. Apprentice Magician was charged to the field with small, bright lights. Counter was added to the city. Fear was seen through the opponent and strategy was taken.
"Goyo Guardian will attack your facedown. Your facedown returns on my side in defense. Reaction?"

(Only one reaction. Arcane Apprentice gives no spell counter to Endymion.) Leon simply grinned as the monster was revealed to be Destiny Hero - Malicious. He just shrugged, smiling as the weak monster was given willingly to her, rather than his majestic dark bird.

{.//Apology. Card is Apprentice Magician. I hope you're fine with my correction. The Apprentice in name caused the confusion. With that, I shall continue.} "Apprentice will continue the onslaught for 400."Three monsters remained on the city grounds. With an eruption of light they reduced to stop. Apprentice Magician grew to light and surrounded the Defender. Tempest took the field. Her look similar to that of her master's. Counter was added to Tempest. A change in expression occurred. One similar to satisfaction but derived from the opposite scale. It was not close to boredom or even the precise definition of un-satisfaction. Settled. Perfect word. Shadows slept in this nature and thus would end with it. 7200 | Hand: 1 | None | Destiny Hero - Malicious (800/800) | Goyo Guardian (2800/2000) | Tempest Magician (2200/1400) | _____ | _____ | Grave: 13 | None | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | RFP: 0 |

Leon shrugged and smiled as he drew...one more card, then he could even the odds again. He had taken a small hit, but no matter. He looked at his graveyard, then back at his hand and shrugged. There wasn't much he could do...he would most likely lose. He set the monster he had just drawn and ended.

Game. Set. Match? The end was close and the opponent had seen this. The crack of the duel disk came again and the next card was admitted to play. The card of Assault Teleport glided into the grave and with a laugh, the Trickster hit the field. The stand of monsters was inferior and the skill between Obelisk and Slifer was obviously seen. A solemn cough came before destruction preceded.
"The Tricky shall attack your facedown monster. And then Destiny Hero - Malicious, Tempest Magician, and Goyo Guardian shall attack you directly. Response?"
The irony. How easily the opponent responded with boredom to protect his pride but now the table's turned. Respect came from action. Not words. All too easy. Emerald eyes pierced the opponent. A pause formed.

Leon watched as his Phantom was killed, and then the final attack came. He took it without a flinch, then simply sighed and tipped his hat back, revealing his eyes, which were quiet and calm, out of pure boredom. He simply stared at her as the holograms disappeared, then shook his head and sighed again. "Damn...lost the bet." He stepped down from the podium, walking halfway to her stand. "I bet Vahn it would take you 2 turns to beat me. He bet 3..." He had really wanted a sip of that exotic sake too...
"Awe well. Here." He undid the pendant at his neck. It was pretty, and he hated to give it up, but it was lifeless, all the shadow power in it dispelled when he lost his duel to Camilla earlier this day. While she didn't gain any of the power, the charm had lost all, as well as Leon. It felt...strange, but it fitted him. Better not to be caught up in it during his training. He swung it up for her to catch, then whistled and exited the building, tilting his hat back down. Almost all his loose ends were tied down...soon it would be all.

Deactivate. Illusions departing. Assignment complete. “Gambling upon nothing is irrational.” Stable voice in even pace. The obelisk girl reassembled the deck- placement in the holster done unseen. The pale hand masked the emerald eyes and centered the temples. Then rotation upon the heel led to the exit once entered.
Yet there existed the spiraling and degrading in the encroaching darkness. Lightheadedness. It claimed its grasp as the artifact earned had flung past her. The clink of the metal hitting the hard floor finally gained attention to it. The lady regained composure and extended a reach for the prize. The worn prize in the silver crystalline form. Those defiant in destiny shall taste the force of fate.
