The large dueling arena may have been old for the new technology that was going around, but it still served its purpose. The large arena housed the two stands where duelists stood, along with the center were the cards appeared. In front of each duelist was a raised play mat for them to set their cards, and Leon's was already set. He just had to wait for his opponent to show up.
There was noone around it seemed, which was good because while it wasn't really enforced, students weren't always technically allowed to use this ring. He just shrugged and waited, folding his arms in his robes, his hat drawn low on his hair and his cane hanging on the platform next to him.

{.// I believe I requested your deck list Mr. DeHay} “Your name is displayed as DeHay. Dweller, you have saved me some annoyance.” Draw one. A glance with jade stone eyes. (You will find my deck here, I didn't have time to put it in last night before I left. The deck is Death Mark.) Leon smiled. He watched as she played her cards, then drew his, laughing. He looked over his cards, critically, then winked, holding his hand in the air, before starting his turn. He didn't speak, as he preferred silence when dueling, because he was always either listening to music, or concentrating. He simply held up his cards as he played them, smiling and tilting his head as they appeared on the field. First, he special summoned Dark Grepher by sending Darklord Zerato to the graveyard. Then, he used Grepher's ability to send Necro Gardna from his hand to the grave to send Sky Scourge Nerolas from his deck to his graveyard. Smiling, he then held up his other card, then summoned it. His Phantom of Chaos. Using it's effect, his lifepoints were lowered by 1000 as he removed Nerolas from his graveyard and out of play, then used his effect by Phantom to destroy all cards in both player's hand and on the field to the graveyard, and then draw 1 card. He smiled, then laughed as he removed his Phantom and Darklord Zerato from his graveyard out of play to send a Dark Nephthys into the graveyard, for now. He nodded to her, signaling it was her turn. (Tell me if you have chains, and if you do, I will fix the post accordingly) Field: None CiH: None LP: 7000 Grave: Dark Nephthys, Dark Grepher, Necro Gardna, The Beginning of the End, Hand Destruction RFG: Darklord Zerato, Phantom of Chaos, Sky Scourge Norleras (Jeeze, you find my first turn prepostrous? That was a bad hand too...this is why you should get YVD, then you'd know I wasn't cheating. Now then, can we continue from your 'absense'?)

{.//However preposterous I believe your start to be, I am willing to prolong this game. I previously attained an extension on this duel and thus may now continue. I would like for you to display your grave and remove from play lists, however, before I commence.}

Serenity. Marked as a blessing. Expressionless solidity as the circle revolved. The fair faced lady swept her hand over her field to clear it to the grave. Five seconds. Gliding a card on the deck to being summoned in a singular motion. Then release, proper stance observed as an end. 8000 | Hand: 0 | None | Defender, The Magical Knight (1600/2000) | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | Grave: 6 | None | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | RFP: 0 |

(I'm assuming you are using his counter, since there is no point in not doing it, however I'm wondering why you didn't attack and just put it in attack mode. Odd move. And you may want to delete that double post, I believe double posts are against rules here at DL.) He drew, then shrugged as during his standby phase Dark Nephthys came back to the field. The card in his hand was useless for now, so he simply held his hand forward. His Dark Nephthys gave a screech and basked the attack-mode defender in black flames, however only doing 800 damage to her lifepoints, and the Defender still stood. He just ended, waiting for her move.

{.//Perhaps, however I'd rather not considering circumstances. If staff requests thus, I will remove the post. Otherwise trust will not lie in you. Know about assumptions.} Screech. Ever piercing. Stand tall, unmoved. All an illusion. “Mute are you?” Pitch resembling a flute sounding a consoling morning. Top card lifted from the deck. The emerald stones reflected its image on the surface. Activate: Spell Power Grasp to Defender. Lifting of the deck and spreading the thin pieces of paper before her. Images and colors. Search, match, pull. A single card placed on the edge, off the field. Repetitive movements of shuffling and cutting. Dull. Replacing the deck in its respective region, the girl took the single card in her hand. The card on the field- twisted. Magical Knight bent on one knee, sturdy shield planted, as a knight should. Slack on the card hand had placed the arm vertically against the uniform. The other constrained the abdomen. End high strung of threads of silver. 7200 | Hand: 1 | None | Defender, The Magical Knight (1600/2000) | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | Grave: 7 | None | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | RFP: 0 |

(After this duel I will be taking a Leave of Absense, as in my Display Name, but not until we are done.)
Leon blinked and drew. Now she was just stalling. How boring. He glared at the card he had drawn last turn, as it seemed to be useless, but then held out the card he had just drawn. Gold Sarcophagus descended the field, and removed The Dark Creator from his deck to out of play. In two turns, it would be sent to his hand. Until then, he just shrugged and had his Nephthys attack the Defender once more, if only to get rid of the spell counter and ended.

Repetition. Draw and activate. Spell Power Grasp shines upon the Magical Knight while vermilion haired one scattered her deck before her another time. Locate and take. Shuffling the stack. It was all done before. A circle. A cycle. Everything runs in such a way- old and dull. As such the female also receded back to her former stature. Emeralds cast off and posture a delicate feminine stance. The world does not change nor people versus ideals that twist and discolor. 7200 | Hand: 2 | None | Defender, The Magical Knight (1600/2000) | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | Grave: 8 | None | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | RFP: 0 |

And again, it was done. Obviously. So he just drew, and sighed. Why was he drawing these? So useless...He sighed in resignation and had Nepthys attack the Defender once more, quite bored by this time, then ended. One more turn until his Creator came to his hand.

Cards continue the cycle. Drawing comes first and the standby. The distant gems roll over to the view of the rectangular pieces of paper. Broken. Act by play. Appearing next to the Magical Knight was the Exemplar in an elated glow. The spell, Spell Power Grasp activated behind the knight to allow it parallel sheen as the girl. Defender gains one. Exemplar gains two. Yet the girl rejects them in chant. “Arise. Deliver thy soul, Night’s End Sorcerer. Reap from the grave to remove Dark Grepher and Necro Gardna.”The sound. Slashing and crying. They were heard and the tune merged with chant. Night’s End Sorcerer and Magical Exemplar synchronize the Guardian of Goyo. Then with the company, Defender rose up with his sword. Not without the commands of the beholder. So with orders, battle phase shall commence. “Goyo Guardian will attack Dark Nephthys. You lose your 400 and Dark Nephthys returns on my side in defense. Defender will follow with a direct." Detached manner. Calamity settles after the calm. 7200 | Hand: 1 | None | Defender, The Magical Knight (1600/2000) | Goyo Guardian (2800/2000) | _____ | _____ | _____ | Grave: 10 | None | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | RFP: 0 |

[ Leon can chain Night's End Sorcerer's effect to remove Gardna and negate the next attack (Goyo's). So let's not get too presumptuous and assume here. ]

(Righto, she is, I'm afraid.) Leon held out his hand in a 'stop' signal, grinning as he removed the Necro Gardna from play, as well as the Dark Grepher of course, since she would remove that. However, he had to wait for her to play the rest of her move, so he just sat and waited for her to finish. His lips moved, but no sound came out as he whispered very quietly...
"Hammer Time."

Movements paused. Error was seen. Minor in plan but defeat was inevitable. Luck to the opponent. The Guardian of Goyo still took it's stand but the Defender remained rested. Time was the master now. Small moments but still graceful. The common position was taken once again. Eyes peered the opponent but nothing was spoken. Words were not needed. Instead they blinked in boredom. The turn on the opponent in waiting. 7200 | Hand: 1 | None | Defender, The Magical Knight (1600/2000) | Goyo Guardian (2800/2000) | _____ | _____ | _____ | Grave: 10 | None | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | _____ | RFP: 0 |

Leon yawned and grinned as after he drew, the Gold Sarcophogus appeared once more, the shining card coming down into his hand. Smirking, he just shrugged, and tributed his Phoenix for a facedown defense mode monster. He just laughed. Only 1 Dark Monster in his graveyard, so far...this was beginning to be an easy match. He smiled and motioned that it was her turn, waiting for the inevitable attack.
