Amy was nervous. It had been over a month since the Elements had been loosed, and so far there was no indication of anything. They had to make their move soon...otherwise, why release them to begin with? It bothered her. Slightly less bothering was the teacher's new companion, the spirit-bound Maiden of the Aqua. The two of them had figured out what exactly had happened, but to what end? Despite having no clue as to what was going on, she had to keep up the charade. Business as usual, at least for the moment. Until that time, when she could undermine and expose this entire plot once and for all... And then she would have it. Duelist Legacies OST - Havoc! Loosing the Dogs of WarCarpe Deus Noctem...or loosely translated, "Seize the God of Night". If the shadowy king wanted to wage his wars on this stage, they would have to fight for that chance. And Amy Morrison would not let a single battle be fought on her watch, if she had anything to say about it. And yet...there were students who were eager to learn. And so she would teach them. After all, that is what she was paid to do, to educate the young minds as to the other side, and the depths therein. And teach she would, as she wrote on the board. Lesson 2 - The Elements and Applications in Shadow Sciences Prof. Amy Morrison October 27, 2009She had another piece in mind for this class...but that could wait. Right now, there were bigger issues on hand... (OOC: as stated in the date, Amy will begin class on Tuesday. Be on time, especially if you were late to last class!)

(HOshi came into the semester late so please excuse him from missing the first class)
Hoshi slowly walked into the classroom itself, starting to wonder why he had ever decided to take up this course... Arche, after hearing about it, was really annoyed by it. Why would Hoshi be interested in shadow stuff? He was never into the occult before... Really, it was a reason that she didn't know about. The spirits of the cards that hung around him. They had largely been sleeping, for the good of his sanity as an unintentional result. But onto the subject at hand, he had hoped that he would be able to learn more about the spirits from this class. It seemed to relate the most to them.
As he got close to the teacher, he halted and made a quick bow to her. "Um, please forgive me for not making it to your last class. I came to the school late. It is no excuse however... I only wish for you to take good care of me, ma'am." He stood there for a bit, to get a responce, and then afterwards, he would go back to take his seat. It was best to do that now.

Amy looked up from her noted and saw the student. A quick glance through her records showed that the student was new.
"It's not a problem...Hoshi? There are plenty of new transfers every week, I've gotten used to it. As long as you follow the texts you should be in good shape. And..." Amy stopped, somethign was suspect, but she shook it off as paranoia. "Welocome to Duel Academy, I guess. Class will start soon, so I hope you're ready!"

Casper edged in through the doorway, the same nervous look plastered on his face. He made his way to the teacher and stuttered out and excuse for his absence in the last lesson. "S-Sorry ma'am. I was in D-Domino G-General Hospital all day. I n-needed a refill on my m-medication." Why it had taken so long to get a measly twelve or so prescriptions was beyond Casper. This happened to be the one class Casper enjoyed!
"If there's a-anything I can do to m-make up what I m-missed, then please let me kn-know when you have some f-free time." Ash hurriedly excused himself from the teacher's presence. As he sat back down in his seat, his watch's alarm went off. Reaching into his Ra jacket, he pulled out one of his medicine containers and put two pills into his hand. Replacing the container, Casper reached into a different inner pocket and grabbed a water bottle. Quickly taking his medicine and and replacing the bottle, Casper sighed. Let's just hope that I don't fall asleep in class and have another nightmare like I did last night...

Hoshi just nodded to her, saying, "Thanks..." and quickly went to take his seat, nervous. So... this was his first class... This was creepy. Instantly, he heard a voice sound off, saying, "Don't be scared." Instantly, Nyan appeared next to him, invisible to all but people who could see spirits. Even so, she snuck down to below the desk, making Hoshi nervous. And a little embarrased.
"N-Nyan, don't do that... You can't appear in public like this."
"Why? It's not like she'll pay too much attention. If a kid wants to talk to his imaginary friends, let him."
"But what if someone thinks I"m crazy...?"
"Nyan~ Don't worry about it! It'll be alright."
Slowly, she floated up for a few seconds to pat him on the head... At least it was supposed to be like that. He just flinched as she did that, it was a sort of reflex. Understanding the gesture, he just nodded to her slightly and she smiled, hiding again. She was happy to know he was relaxed again now.

Wearing the Ra Yellow blazer, which, while not her style, was surprisingly comfortable, Hibana walks into the classroom like she owned the place. Of course, if all went well, she actually WOULD own the place one day...but that's something else entirely. She looks around the classroom a bit, recognizing the neurotic mess that was Casper, but not much else. Then she noticed Amy, smirking a bit as she spoke out loud, though mostly to herself "My my...I hope all my teachers are as cute as this one. It'll certainly make things more pleasant...maybe I can talk her into some "private lessons"..." There was a noticeable emphasis on the last two words, making it safe to assume what sort of innuendo she was implying.

Well, this was certainly an odd bunch. Amy did see the spirit accompanying the slifer student but payed it no mind; the ra students who were entering muttered several things that Amy more or less ignored as she was looking them up.
"There's no need to fret, as long as you read the texts there shouldn't be any problems." Amy said with a smile, while continuing to prepare.
Meanwhile in the back of the classroom, invisible yet ever-attentive, was Mia; Amy's newest friend and a seemingly pleasant person...er, spirit, to be around. The two of them knew just how much was at stake, and Mia had agreed to watch silently for anything out of the ordinary. Currently there was nothing out of the ordinary, amplified by the fact that the spirit's form was hidden from the class, regardsless of whether or not they had the ability to see spirits...

William stolled into class, without a care in the world. He was clearly of a different mindset, though really the only difference was the reintroduction of sunglasses. This time though, the glasses were not meant to hide anything, but to show the image. Someone decided it was time, and wanted to see the world through new eyes.
"Hey teach." he said simply, taking a seat in the second row, by the end, just for the purpose of reclaining back and plopping his legs on the chair in front of him.
"Let's get this party started, eh?" he said with a large grin, waiting for others to arrive.

Leon yawned and walked into the classroom, though it was more of a strut. His cane tapped with each step of his thongs under his robe, and he was stepping to some kind of beat, probably coming from earphones hidden in his hair somewhere. His hat was pulled low over his face so that his eyes were hidden in the shade, and he simply took a seat towards the front, not caring if the teacher still recognized him or not.

Ethan entered the classroom, his angel in tow. Sure, things might have been going a bi differently than he owuld have thought but...it's not like the boy had any idea how this was supposed to work. Hell, his parents met at a casino on a whim and got to play themselves as extras on Rounders, for pete's sake.
It just goes to show, you never know how things will work. with a half-cocked salute to the teacher, Ethan took his seat.

DJ hopped into class, happy that he didn't miss the bell. He had actually overslept, although truth be told he had absolutely no clue what time it was. He mumbled and tried to flatten his sticking-up hair, hoping no one would notice. It was bad enough he hadn't done too well in getting to the first class on time, he didn't want to mess this one up again. He set his books down and took a seat towards the middle of the classroom, waiting for class to start, which would no doubt be soon.

Robert strode into class calmly. The reason he decided to sign up for Shadow Sciences was because of the strange events. Some jungle bunny running around, and that deck of his. Hopefully the good professor here would be able to explain all this. He then took his seat, contemplating what would be. Hopefully this class would be helpful. Either way, a class is a class no matter how you spin it.

Post by Mizuki Haruka on Oct 27, 2009 19:01:39 GMT -5
Of course the nervous girl would be the next to enter and the nervous girl would also be reading a book and the nervous girl would also be fretting. However, what was uncharacteristically different was that the girl didn't see William. Instead Mizuki Haruka sat with her multitude of books next to a girl with a tight blonde bun. She still kept reading while she grabbed a pen out of her pocket and a book out of her bag. Then she kept on copying down the notes from her Deck Construction class.
((Just need to get her in here, she's sitting beside Hibana.))

She lets out a sigh and takes a random seat, looking around. Once again, she spoke to herself, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear...she had a habit of thinking out loud, though she hardly cared what others thought about it. "This has been disappointing so far...I was hoping there'd be at least one cute girl in the class...besides the teacher, of course, though it's no fun when they ignore you..." She had hoped to at least get a reaction from the teacher, but, alas, she brushed her off.
Then Mizuki walked in and sat next to her. Things were looking up. She stands up and walks over to her, leaning down and cupping her chin with her hand. With a gentle tug, she pulled the girl's head up and made her look into her eyes as a seductive grin formed on her face "Well well...it's about time a cutie came in. And here I was starting to think that this might be boring..." She leaned in, her face close enough to the other's that anyone seeing this from a distance would think they were kissing...in fact, Hibana was very tempted to, but she decided to behave...for now. "I'm Hibana. What's yours?"

He paid no attention at all, no reason to, until Mizuki came in. Hmm, after going through the thoughts he had, he thought of a good idea. He wanted to hurt this girl Mizuki, because she was clearly a threat to his stability. However.. why not have fun with it?
Seeing another girl move in on the poor soul herself, he grinned and strode over to sit reclined in a nearby chair, his legs propped back up, and himself not caring too much for the class itself. He angled his sunglasses down to reveal blue eyes with an icy ting around the edge of the pupils, and a raised eyebrow.
"Well, well, well, taking this a bit far a bit soon, aren't we." he said with a small laugh, and moved in closer. "Although I'm all for girl on girl, some of us have worked at getting close, ya know? I'm just saying, dinner and movie to start with." he said, a large grin on his face, as he stared down the new girl. What better way to bring this woman down then to prop her up yourself?
