Arche immediately sighed as Xen noticed her bleeding, afraid this would happen. It was only a matter of time. "Sheesh, it's nothing. I was just a little careless and got hurt." Taht stupid brat... I still hate him for that. He banged my head against the motor boat... I could have gotten killed if he pushed me off from the back. Shaking her head, she said, "I was just fine before anyway. I don't need to ahve people holding my hand every five minutes." Arche's wrists were still covered up in some makeup, thankfully, so the arm bruises weren't too bad to worry about.
The injury itself looked more like just a scrape on her head... As if she had fallen down and gotten hurt. But... she didn't seem that much like she would just fall down. And if she hit something, there might have been a concussion and she wouldn't know that. And the wrists... If he looked at them long enough, if he was wanting to examine for other wounds, he would notice that the wrists... was that makeup? Well, she didn't use makeup that much, really, but she had a little sample thing that she had gotten once and that's what was covering her wrists. It wasn't the exact same color though, although it was hard to tell without examination up close.

Xenneth had looked at her with his blue eyes. He had thought about dismissing the wound, but after thinking to himself and giving it a second glance, he felt that he could not simply forget things. It was his responsibility to end to such wounds and bruises, and remembering this made him take action as he stood up and let his arms reach to his white backpack nestled between his seat and the table. Unzipping the top and reaching in, he had pulled out a white box with a red cross upon it setting it upon the table while his blue eyes went back to her and his hands laying upon his lap.
“No! I can‘t overlook things like this. You need to let me treat that wound.” he had said as he pressed the button upon the side of the box. “Now please, sit down.” he had requested as he stared at the young man.

Arche just watched as he seemed to show a bit of guts, saying that he couldn't just let this happen. She was kinda impressed. Huh... Well, at least I don't have to go to the nurse's office. I might as well just sit here and go through this. She then got up, moving to a different seat so he could reach her better. As she sat down, she just sighed, saying, "Well, here you go. You win." Not that there was much of a point in fighting anyway. She could probably guess that he'd rush after her, heedless of his own safety, just to help her anyway. Or to condense it... "You'd run after me even if I said no and left, wouldn't you?"

The young boy had been pleased seeing the girl sit down. Upon cue, he had reached his right hand off to the white First-Aid kit box he had sat aside. Unlatching it and then taking a small pair of clear gloves so one could see his coated hands, he had continued to rummage through the swabs and cotton cleaning items until he had set them out freely along with a set of bandages and medical tape. His hands moved liked second instinct with all the items, freely screwing the tops off as well as finally going to the seated young woman.
Him to chase her? The question made his eyes go into a depressed half open state.
“No…I wouldn’t have.”
He had replied grimly before dipping one of the swabs that was upon a thin plastic stick. His eyes had opened slightly more seeming to concentrate from the source of that wound that was bleeding profusely. His head tilted up slightly as if he was more “professional” and less reserved and shy as if it was natural.
“Could you please tilt your head back so it can catch the light. I want to see the bruise clearly.” he had requested.

Arche could just only watch as Xenneth rummaged through the various medical items that she had no idea what they were... the chemicals she didn't understand but she did manage to grasp the concept of band-aids and cotton swabs. What he was doing though, Arche would have rather gone to medical school to learn. For all she knew, he was mixing a poison with those chemicals. But as he said that he wouldnt' have chased her, she just said, "I bet you that you're wrong there. If someone was really hurt, I doubt you would let it go that easily, even if they were someone like me."
What she said was her own little guesstimate of his personality. He seemed a bit more like Hoshi, if not a little more nervous and the way that she first met him, so she was sure that this boy would do the right thing if he had to... Of course, really, she doubted he'd chase after her for a little scrape. It wasn't like she broke an arm or something. But still, he seemed to have a bit of passion about what he was doing. And- hey, he was asking her something. Arche, lost in thought, had almost missed his request. She just gave a brief little nod and lifted her head back a bit, brushing away the hair somewhat as well so he could see the wound.

"I bet you that you're wrong there. If someone was really hurt, I doubt you would let it go that easily, even if they were someone like me."
He frowned hearing her speak.
People were better when they did not talk sometimes around the young boy. Usually admitting to his most typical of faults or habits made him uneasy. He did not ever think of a subject until he had met this young woman, but now for him to ask such a question presented to himself, he would have to guess that she was right. Deep down in his heart, he probably knew she was right after giving it a few moments and surrendering to her thoughts about him.
Xenneth was passionate about what he had done, but it was not about credentials, nor was it about his own selfish desires. It was about making sure no one was hurt or suffering. The thought of it filled him with dread thinking about the past and what happened. He stood by, someone suffered, and it was for his sake. Usually, that’s how being weak felt to some, not having the energy or knowledge to know what to do and idly stand by as someone else took action. It was a truly horrid thought, and with the strength this young woman possessed, he did doubted that she knew of that sort of weakness.
He could be wrong; he usually was when it came to people.
He was not a good reader when it came to people. Give him a textbook and after a day, he’ll tell you what he memorized in the pages first to last, and give him a friend and he’d ask the wrong questions, press the wrong buttons, fidget and stutter until it seemed like he was speaking a whole another language that he could not even he could probably understand. Now, standing before this young woman, he did not realize he was even taking charge and even drawing so close to her which he was usually nervous around about females.
Maybe it was because she reminded him about…her? The bruise was evident enough towards a resemblance in personality.
Breathing slightly as he swabbed the fluid around the wound cleaning it while pressing it accordingly to check the depth by the plush of the flesh, he had tried to keep focus, but this made him reminisce so deeply as he felt that the scenery had once again changed to that memorable café in Okinawa. It was an empty place like that Sunday Morning of now where children would take the day off to go to Domino before class would begin as his cousin would ask him to take him to that café to get her a treat. A slightly confused look on his cousin’s face watching him work while he concentrated at first somewhat nervous considering that the young woman was a bully.
For some reason, Arche’s face was slightly different and meshed right into the memory.
“You’ve been…fighting…” he had had exclaimed after looking at the wound, his mind knowing its place as he remembered where he was and who he was referring to. “I had this friend…she…fought a lot. She was a bully. She came into the café just like this one day and I helped her because…well…I don’t know. It just seemed right…even if she did say she would “punch my lights out” the next day, anyway.
Thinking about it, he had dismissed the attitude that day as he felt that she was doing him a favor and not the other way around. He just did not want to see her hurt, and then she did not like him in the first place. Even when younger, Xenneth had done the most questionable things, but then again, that’s just how things went when you cared for people. It was faint, but he felt as if he remembered these memories for a reason. OOC Notes:Chatty Ditz: Could’ve been better if I was listening to music.

Arche just let him go on and start cleaning the wound, twitching a bit at the pain. It was just a hand twitch, really. Nothing that bad. As Xen also started talking, she just smiled. Mentioning a bully and him treating it, she could have just lectured him on how stupid that was... but still, it didn't mean it wasn't right. So he got a smile from Arche as she said, "As stupid as that was, you're a good kid. I know a similar one. He would have helped out someone regardless of what it would cost him. The only problem he had was that he wasn't that brave." After a few second, she just smiled a little more and said, "Of course, I have to help him out a lot. He always got picked on with bullies so I had to go and help him. In fact, the first time I met him, it was saving him from some bullies." She paused for a few seconds, thinking, and then asked, "Um, is there anything for bruises or something? Just curious..." If he did, maybe it would be best to show the bruising on her wrists. Get it treated and all. Of course, he might freak out... so it was a gamble.

"As stupid as that was, you're a good kid. I know a similar one. He would have helped out someone regardless of what it would cost him. The only problem he had was that he wasn't that brave."
It was like her own way of giving him a compliment, or at least he assumed that much. It was so much similar to the rough exterior of his lost time friend who left a sour impression, but meant well when she was serious. His eyes giving her a good run about until finally seeing he wound’s depth to know it did not need stitches in the process, he had thus simply cleaned up thoroughly and then applied with his hand pressing his fingers upon the wound gently with a small cloth patch. Using the medical tape that had come in with his First-Aid kit, he had thus finished bandaging the wound until it was secure.
Properly treated, he had no worry that it would not doubt be able to heal properly as well. The only treat with him doing this was hearing the story of the young woman while he finished up. Talking was a good way of learning about people. From the way Arche spoke, he could gather the young woman was nicer than she let on with her hot headed attitude and cut throat speech. It made a smile creep to his face as he nodded in acknowledgement at this, eventually, his eyes had sat upon the young woman when he was done and leaning back to gaze at her.
"Um, is there anything for bruises or something? Just curious..."
His eyes blinked a bit confused seeing she had asked such a question. Looking her over, he did not see any bruises upon her forehead after she had asked such a thing.
“B-bruises? Well…yeah, I have some bandages to wrap them. Why do you ask?” OOC Notes:Now Playing: Kelun “Chu-bara"Chatty Ditz: Okay, so I did worse with music, but I have class shortly! Cut me a break. .

the bandages wound tightly around Arche's head, moving her hair slightly so that way when it was finished, she could cover it with her hair. Like she wanted Hoshi to panic about it. The more she could hide it, the better. And as Xenneth asked about the bruises, she just shook her head, saying, "You're looking in the wrong places." She licked her thumb and then rubbed it on her qrist, grunting a bit, as she wiped away the makeup. "I don't usually put on makeup... I find it kinda stupid." As it was being wiped away, Xenneth could see the bruising on her wrists. Of course, she had to lick her thumb more than once, to get it off. "Getting hit on the head wasn't the only injury I got... Don't make that much of a fuss, it wasn't as bad as you might think."

Xenneth’s eyes had gone from the young woman’s forehead to her wrists and arms. Her body was obviously damaged more than he thought and he overlooked things because of his attention to her forehead. From the appearance, he would think that perhaps she had won the fight with a simple head banged bruise, but it seemed like it was much more than that, watching as the female rubbed away at her wrists to reveal some of the make-up that had been lifted, he had gasped lightly in surprise.
He gasped, eyes wide staring at the bruises.
*GLARE* ”Dear Lord?! Do you fight boys or bears?” He could barely believe that she had actually be bruised up to some degree. She must have been very tough for a girl. Seeing this, he had been quick to act as he took a fresh small cloth, this time not on a swab stick and begun to soak it around her wrists and arm. He seemed to fall right back into his caretaking procedure as the time passed with the greatest of ease. With his eyes following along, he had been silent as he breathed out a sigh reminiscing about how he use to hate doing this for Hayase-chan. Somehow, he had missed this feeling. As he looked at the bruises, she just sighed, saying, "The're not that bad. And it's not like I got into a fight then. you think those bruises would have come if I knew an attack was comming? I'm not an idiot, you know." She just sighed, twitching a bit as he started bandaging the wounds. "Taht brat was strong... He was also vain too, the idiot." She just seemed to be angry about the incident, saying, "I'd have rather got there without having to fight over it but no, that brat had to go and grab me from behind." She then continued on grumbling about the attack and Xen could tell it was not exactly that she had picked a fight, the fight picked her.

He had a kind smile as he cleaned the young woman’s wounds. Dismissive of the fact she had been fighting constantly, or even that she had pushed on who was to blame, Xenneth did not care. What ever happened happened, and he had kept the instincts of a motherly person as he simply cared for and treated her with no further questions asked. He had enjoyed the time he had with her to help her seeing that it was reminding him so much of his lost resolve to help people in the first place. All in all, he had kept to a constant smile and careful concentration on what he was doing as the young woman spoke so radically.
He giggled lightly.
Well, not really. It was just his laugh sounded so much like a giggle because of the way he sounded when he tried to suppress his sound chuckles. Looking to the young woman’s eyes, he had kept a gentle smile as he lifted one of his plastically gloved hands while the other kept a firm press upon one of the wounds he had just finished cleaning. “Don‘t worry…” he had said, “There‘s no need to explain.”
He had smiled as he begun to finish cleaning his wounds and then begin to wrap and bandage the young woman after reaching over to his first-aid box. He had unwounded it with a press and then pin to hold the initial wrap in place. “I‘m going to wrap them so they won‘t become infected. They‘ll never heal if you simply hide them under make up. If anything, it‘ll make things worse.” he had exclaimed. OOC Notes:Chatty Ditz: Sleepy.

Arche just sighed, saying, "Alright..." as he mentioned wrapping the wounds and such. "I doubt you would let me leave without trying to bandage me though." After a while though, she started to get curious... Bruises needed bandaging too? That was weird, she had left bruises alone well enough and they healed well enough. But he was the doctor, even if she didn't get it herself. But best to ask anyway. "Do bruises really need bandages?" she asked the boy.

"Do bruises really need bandages?"
His eyes had lifted at the question seeing he really did not know the answer. He was still learning after all, and even if he was skillful at acting, the thinking process before that usually dwindled. He had smiled shrugging his arms as he had looked back to the young woman a bit shy and embarrassed to not honestly know the answer to the question.
“I don‘t know…but I rather be safe than sorry.” he had noted.
His eyes going back to what he was doing, his hands begun to once again wrap the bruises as he had smiled bashfully. Honestly, he felt he had been doing the procedure right and he was thus far. “I‘m sorry.” he had spoke up apologizing once more, “I know I‘m not the best doctor, or nurse for that matter, but I‘m still really trying hard to learn all this stuff. I want to do what I can for everyone.” he had spoken, and at that his deepest heart’s desire.

As the bruises were bandaged and Xen said he wasn't sure about the whole bandage thing... it didn't relieve the girl's worries. Still, it wasn't like it was going to hurt. Besides, as she heard the story, there was no way she could complain about it. He honestly sounded passionate about it. Nodding to him, she said, "The world needs more people like you. YOu're a good kid." She then waited for a response or for him to finish bandaging the wrists... although she wasn't about to leave yet. Hey, she liked the boy.
