Robert, putting on his black suit with red trim had made it to the dock. The man who had taken him to Duel Academia owed him a favor. Since he helped fix the engine, and greatly sped up the process, he was in debt to him. Robert first called the Washoku Restaurant in order to check for reservation openings. He then called the man, asking when he wouldn't need the boat. Robert had experience piloting boats in the past, so he would have no problem.
After checking schedule alignments, he had found a few good openings. After checking in with Emma with them, he had arranged for this day. The Washoku Restaurant was now his destination, but only the first. He was waiting for Emma. He had just arrived a minute ago, forty five minutes before the timing of reservations.

Emma opted for just her casual attire (see sig) for today since he said it would just be semi-formal and she didn't want to over-dress for her first date. Arriving a little behind schedule due to being lost, she saw her date waiting for her. As she started her way towards him, she asked, "Sorry about that, did you wait long?"

Robert, smiling said "Actually, I just got here a minute ago. Guy lost the boat keys, so I had to fish them out." He looked at Emma, damn she was cute. But his face didn't any immediate signs of a crush. "Ready to go?" he asked considerately. He wanted to make this a pleasant experience for both him and her. If he did, than maybe things would go quite well from there on fourth.

Nodding slightly, Emma said, "Yeah, guess I am ready." In reality, she is a little nervous about all this. First time on the dating scene and it's with a guy who pummeled both her decks in duels, anyone will be nervous. Nodding once more to assure herself that this probably won't turn out too badly, she asked him, "So, do lead the way please."

Robert, nodding calmly had led her to the boat, he let her on than got on himself. He than put the keys into the ignition and had started up the boat. Hopefully this would indeed go well, this was his first major crush, and was his closest to success. In a way, the train was still rolling for this. Hut for how long would it roll on before coming to a screeching halt? Or would it keep on rolling well?
Pulling up at the restaurant, he had climbed out of the boat and had let Emma out. He then walked with her into the restaurant. The host than asked "Do you have a reservation?" politely. Robert hat than taken out the emailed confirmation, "Zanrou, table for two." The host, examining it for a moment than said "Right this way." He led Robert and Emma to a very nice table for two.
Robert clearly knew what he was doing when reserving a table. It had already had its placement of utensils and menus, clearly well prepared for the two. Robert than nodded kindly to the host and said "Thank you." The host than nodded as well, leaving them to their table. Robert pulled a chair out for Emma, ready for her to sit in. He pushed the chair in for her to sit when she was ready. Taking a seat himself, he then waited for the waiter.

So far, she was impressed, which is saying a lot since she is hard to please. There were no hitches in the transportation, which Emma though show that this person actually has good planning skills. That's some points scored right there, although she wondered if she really should give him so much credit for something as simple as planning a ride and making reservations.
As they arrived, she began to take notice to her surroundings. Wow, this is a nice place, and she can't help but start to wonder how much this costs. When she took her seat, Emma found another thing to be impressed about. A gesture such has pulling out a chair for the female maybe simple, but she has a liking to males who does this sort of thing. Turning to him, she just said, "Nice place..."

Robert had calmly replied "Thank you." He had planed on this restaurant due to good reviews. To be honest, this may have been his first date, but he knew how to treat a lady. He then took out the menu and started reading, inspecting the options. Many things had looked good, and he had money to pay it off. Bouncing from job to job was a thing for him, and he accumulated much money as a result. Looking at Emma, she was as cute as ever.

Thinking back, she had wondered why she accepted the request when she knows next to nothing about this person. Now is as good a time as any, so Emma asked, "So, let's pretend that this is a job interview and tell me a little about yourself." While she usually don't ask these types of questions, it was the shortest route to actually know a little bit about him. Grinning a little, she looked at him, trying to coax an answer out of him faster, and said, "Just anything you can think of really."

Considering that he didn't know much about Emma, he thought getting to know her would be a good idea. When she had asked him to tell her about himself, he nodded. "Well, I'm just some boy born and raised in London, England." Though this was not nearly as much as he has done. "I've worked various part time jobs since I could earn money. Lawn mowing, garage cleaning, convenience stores, warehouses, a few jobs." This was true, especially since this is how he ended up getting shot in the shoulder and getting his arm broken, followed by his legs getting crushed. "And when it comes to Duel Monsters, I guess I just ran into it. It just felt so right when I got into it." She knew that he ran the Ojama Country deck. However, what he was about to tell her about was his most powerful deck, a deck he refrains from using. "I've even competed in the Arena Tournament. This major tournament for a powerful deck as a prize. I had won the deck, but I usually don't use it." This was true, he'd rather not use crushing force. "Mind telling me about yourself?"

"About myself?" Emma stated as she unconsciously began twirling her finger in her hair again. Where to begin, where to begin? She really wasn't sure, as she didn't want to disclose anything too important, but she couldn't think of any insignificant fact that are not just plain boring. She shrugged and grinned nonchalantly, "Well, I am the cousin of Vahn Gale... That's it. More information will come at a later date."
Now, after taking the time to digest the information that she was given, Emma continued, "Arena tournament, huh?" That specific point has perked her interest a little, although not too much that she wants to dwell on the topic. After all, if it's a major tournament, there are bound to be records, and if it's minor, she isn't that interested.

With a chuckle, he responded "I see." So she was indeed the Headmaster's cousin. Oh well, not that it mattered much to him. He only focused on a person as a person, not for their connections. "A later date, huh?" he said with a playful grin. "And yeah, there are a lot of articles and information based around The Arena. Just google it and you can find medical records, injury statistics, and articles and fan sites about 'Ojama Rumble.'" Ojama Rumble was the name he took upon himself during that tournament. Now two people know about it, Emma and his friend.
The waiter approached the table. "Have you decided what you want to order?" he asked politely. Robert responded "I'll have the chicken breast, please." Robert could handle any price thrown at him. The funds he earned from the job were a lot, along with the pot of cash he earned from The Arena.
