From Will's mind, it was a brilliant storm outside. The flashes he saw from behind his eyelids, and the sounding thunder.. it was amazing. But.. Will was trying to sleep. And as much as he would have liked to see this amazing storm, his classes were more important. So he lied there, smiling at the noise, and feel asleep.
William.. Will.. what are you doing Will?
In his mind, Will found himself floating, and landing on a single path.. lined with photos. However, Will really had stood up from his room and now started walking out of his room and down the hall, as his mental image found himself walking down that path.
Will.. how could you.. is this how you honor your parents?
No.. thats not true.. he thought, as he came to giant size version of the little shrine he had. It shattered, and he ran in another direction, which had not taken his sleeping form out of the dorm, and across the grass.
You're fooling yourself. You're guilty.
No, it wasn't my fault! He ran faster now, around his image the wind blew, rain pelted, and clouds swlired overhead. It seemed like a hurricane. At this point Will has reached within sight of the coast, and headed for the cliffs he stayed.
No matter how hard you try, Will.. you can't escape from your past!
Its.. its not true. He said, suddenly on his knees on a soaked street, though actually on the edge of the cliff. He felt weak, and depressed. He shouldn't have let them go.. he made a mistake.. it was his fault. No.. its wasn't just that.. it.. he missed them, why did they have to leave?
You know what to do.. I can help
Why? he asked, though he stood up.
"You know the reason, no open your eyes!
Will finally heard the voice and his eyes shot open, seeing himself standing on the edge of a cliff, arms stretched out as if he was ready to dive into the churning water below.
"JUMP! NOW!"
Without another word, Will felt himself jump off the edge of the cliff, and he watched the surface of the sea rise up to meet him, shutting his eyes at the last minute as he felt himself hit the waves, and get spun around, before losing consciousness. A birght light under the sea flashed, and then it returned dark, with Will's body be washed up on the beach near the cliff.

Louis was walking in the raging storm with the wind blowing water in his face, was crazy. He was wearing a rain poncho and a yellow umbrella, and underneath his arm was a kite with a ring attached. While he did not know it was Ben Franklin who first attempted the experiment he was about to imitate him, although for different reasons. He had read in one of his notes that in certain conditions, thunderstorms were known to open gateways to the shadow realm, not knowing if this was true he had decided to test it.
He walked past a cliff where he noticed someone standing at its very edge. Louis was startled to see him spread out his arms as if he was about to dive. He began to rush towards the stranger calling 'hey buddy what are you doing!" but his cry was swept away by the wind as the boy lept over. Louis looked over the edge and saw him hit the water.
Louis lept into action and ran as fast as he could toward the beach, hoping he could swim out and save him. He saw the body being cradled in the waves and being swept ashore. Louis dropped his umbrella and kite as he held the body. The boy was unconscious but alive, his face pale and freezing.
"Come on wake up buddy," said Louis anxiously as he gently slapped the boys face. "I didn't stay with the priesthood long enough to learn the last rite things." The boy seemed to stir, or was it Louis' imagination, and Louis took off the thermos at his belt and poured some hot cocoa in the cup, trying to pour it down the boys throat. "Wake up lad, come on."

Well, I'll be.. this is truely a comfortable place.. I could lay around here forever. UIn fact, I think I will.
Will remained unconscious as he was pulled out, but he could hear the voice in his head, the voice that now filled his mind, and filled his body, like the whole of the sea has rushed into his being.
As much as I would love to just take over.. I'm just so tired, and I'd rather not spoil the surprise quite yet. Its troublesome. So.. time to live again, William Nimbus.
Will began to choke up the warm liquid a bit, as his conscious returned. His eyes slowly opened to find himself.. on the beach? What was he doing outside??
"What the... where am I??"

Louis was so happy to see the boy wake up that he accidently poured the whole cup of cocoa down his throat causing him to choke. Louis apologied profusely,"you washed up on shore after your... high jumping practise."
He took off his poncho and wrapped the boy up, while doing this he felt an odd tingle in his pocket where he kept his shard of the tablet. He didn't pay attention to it as he helped the boy sit up. "I'll help you get to the dorms, we can get you some dry clothes."
After gathering his umbrella and setting up the kite Louis helped the boy up and they started walking, "we gotta keep you awake boyo so just keep talking alright don't fall asleep on me." The boy seemed to drift for a moment, Louis had to think of something to keep his mind active. "Umm, did you see any of those bright lights under the water?" Louis slipped and almost dropped the boy, Louis started muttering the lord's pray as they walked.

Will had no idea what the guy was talking about. High Jumping practices?? As far as Will knew, he ended up from his bed to on the sand, drenched and cold. There was a flash in his mind of him standing on the cliff.. but.. but.. that was a dream, right?
"Wait.. what do you mean.. what are you talking about.. how did I end up...." he started blathering, as he was lead away back to the dorms.
"What light? And why can't I remember anything?"

"Why can't you remember? I'd say that's from jumping off the cliff. And the light, that was probably just lightning. I was kinda preoccupied by the guy drowning." Louis smiled, trying to put the boy at ease. It wasn't hard to tell that the boy was confused and maybe scared.
"Do you remember what went through your mind before?"

Wil was absolutely confused. "Yeah, sure" was all he could say, as he was lead to the dorms.
"Like I said, I don't remember, I went to sleep, was dreaming, and before I knew it, I was in the water for a split second before you found me." he said, really unable to say anything more.

Louis chuckled "maybe you were possessed by a demon" he said jokely. His smile disappeared as he looked the boy. Louis grew serious but his tone remained sympathetic, "maybe this was a test of some sort, some darkness in your heart that needed healing. God does work in mysterious ways."
Louis noted a flash of lighting behind them, he wondered if it had hit his kite. "By the way, what is your name, I never got it?"

It was Will's turn to chuckle. "I hate to break it to ya, but I'm a scientist. I don't believe in what can't be proven." he said, referring to the demon comment. He did have his own opinions about God, but they were a bit different.
"Nimbus Wiriamu desu." he said, resorting to Japanese, despite the fact that Will clearly looked American. He was still raised Japanese. He also then noticed his mistake. "Er.. Will Nimbus."

"Louis Kachala, proud Slovakian countryman, and fellow scientist," Louis smiled and he chuckled at Will's lack of open mindness. "You don't believe what you can't prove, then what reason would we try to prove something." He took out a beer bottle on a string, and when lightning flashed you could see a shrivel mouse inside. "This item can protect a person from the powers of the shadow realm, or not. Even without proof it is still possible."
They kept walking, Louis was now wet to the bone and there was no more cocoa in his thermos. "Also, if the only things that exist can be proven, then what caused you jump off a cliff?"

"I told you.. I don't even remember going to the cliffs, let alone jumping off them." he said, shrugging as they by now neared the buildings.
"I just.. at this point.. I wanna get back to bed. I can figure out what happened later, I'm just.. so tired and wet, I wann sleep." he said, starting to droze out.

"Alright buddy we'll get you to bed, just don't fall asleep on me," Louis said as they came across the dorm. "Don't worry we'll get you into a nice warm bed and I'll tie you down so you don't go swimming again." Louis was worried that maybe Will had catched a cold or ammonia or something. He was also worried about ehy Will had jumped but he remembered nothing so it would do no good questioning him.
"Alright time to get you into your room"

Will was at the door, and he was ready to carry on with his full strength. It was time for sleep, then he could worry about why he had been out there.
"Thanks.. sorry for the trouble. I'm heading off." he said, before turning away from Louis and going into his room, to be out until the next morning.
(OOC: sorry about that.. I really can't think of anything else to add to the thread..)
