Lumis had walked through the halls, making sure to clean off any sand he could before entering into the Slifer Red Dorms. Not like it'd have mattered if he cleaned off. The place was fairly messy and run-down as is. At least it was standing and was somewhat stable. As he'd walked, Wiz ran around eagerly in front of him, ears perked and legs hopping and taking him from place to place with a certain energy. Lumis knew for sure, though, that it amused him. Of course he'd wanted to find his room, but he was a little bit busy watching over Wiz. The little creature never seemed to run out of energy.
"C'mon, Wiz! Stop running ahead so far, we've gotta make sure we've got the right room!" He'd checked his key and noted that the room number was 32. He'd noted this in his brain and saw the room next to him. 27. He was fairly close. a few more rooms down. At least, that's what he hoped. After all, some people were crazy architects that made crazy buildings where room numbers weren't in the right location. He'd continued looking ahead as he'd walked, hoping that he could find someone to help him move in with all of his stuff and unpack.

Rebecca walked down the hall, not really paying attention to her surroundings. Several things were on her mind, especially that tablet she had learned about in the museum today. The power of the Attributes.....they were amazing! She wished she had that power in her deck, but it wasn't possible, or so she heard. The fact that the tablet had been stolen made her wonder if it were possible. She could sense some malicious energy around the exhibit while she was there, but that was about it.
*BUMP* She collided with something......something alive....something human.....another Slifer student. She landed on top of him, her body sprawled against his.

Lumis had fallen backwards and had ended up catching someone on top of him. Someone who wasn't... male. He'd closed his eyes upon collision and, after a few moments of being on the floor with this person on top of him, he'd looked down at her and took notice of who this was. Not that he knew this girl. But she seemed... beautiful. The blond hair, the soft skin and... other unmentionables pressed against him. He'd blushed horribly as he'd wondered what to do, not knowing if he minded the girl on top of him, but knowing that she, under a high percentage chance, did mind.
It took a few moments for him to register what had happened, though, and as soon as it registered, he'd tried his best to keep perfectly still. If this girl was conscious after the fall, then it could lead to all sorts of understandings if he started moving. Thus, he'd kept his arms spread out on the floor and his legs spread out to give him some sort of room. His eyes were currently staring at the ceiling, then back down at her blond hair. He had no idea what to do, whatsoever. "Um... excuse me. Miss? Are you... awake?"
The little mischievous creature looked back at his fallen master and the strange new person on top of him. Wiz had smiled happily before hopping over to the fallen pair and jumping on top of the girl. He had conveniently placed himself upon the girl's bottom and was working to press the two together further as long as he'd kept on jumping. Of course, he didn't know any better. But, of course, it seemed like fun. Getting his master in any sort of trouble always seemed fun.

She heard a voice asking if she was awake......it was a male voice. Suddenly her mind went into protective mode, and she was about to jump up and fight when she felt something small land on her bottom.......causing her to press further against the boy. Her face flushed a dark red and she jumped to her feet, nearly stepping on the little white creature without noticing it. "Why don't you watch where you are going next time!" She yelled loudly and angrily. She activated her duel disk, reached to her hip and grabbed her deck from her deck box, and threw it into her disk. "Get up and fight!" She demanded.
She really hated men......and the fact that she had found herself on top of one like that......it made her boiling mad! She didn't care who bumped into who......she just had an immediate hate for him because of this incident.

Lumis was surprised when Wiz had jumped on her and was even more surprised when he wasn't being slapped by the girl. Instead, she'd taken out her Duel Disk and promptly challenged him. He'd opened his bag and pulled out his own, looking at her curiously and sliding his Duel Disk onto his wrist. He'd looked into her face and noticed the deep red blush. Just what exactly did Wiz do...? The white creature hopped over to her leg and seemed to be pawing at her, as if trying to make peace. However, from the look of things, there would be no peace to be made...
"I see no reason to fight and I do dearly apologize for bumping into you. But, I suppose, if you want a duel, I'll give you one." He'd inserted his deck and the sound of his Duel Disk coming to life hummed through the air. He'd looked at her through his crimson hues and wondered just what she was thinking. He'd sighed lightly. What exactly did she want out of this? It only left him wondering as he'd given a low bow. "And I'll even let you have the first move, madame."

"Good grief people, is it too much to ask to have one night without a major incident?" Amy heard the commotion and stuck her head out of her room to see what the hell was going on this time. She's started to realize why the last teacher left...
"Frankly, I don't know what set the two of you off, and I probably don't want to know. But it's past 10:00; and lights out is lights out. You too can beat each other up in the morning, but I expect some peace and quiet in the dorms; I'm sure there are several other students who would like sleep. Keep it down!" With that she retreated once again to her dorm room/office and left the two to themselves. If they still wanted to duel, there was a quieter option available...

Rebecca was fuming mad, her face still quite red. When the teacher came out and warned them, she barely registered the words. She waited for the teacher to depart back into her room before looking back at Lumis. "Wait til morning?" She drew her 5 cards. "I think not! I'm starting this! Draw!" She quickly drew her card and added it to her hand. "I'm going to place one of each face down! And that's it for me!" Two cards appeared before her, one horizontal, and one vertical. Let him try to get to her life points! "Its your move!"

Lumis noted the presence of the teacher and was about to agree with that. He'd even reached for the key in his back pocket to open the door next to him, which turned out to be his room. That is, until the blond girl had promptly started turn and made her move. Lumis gulped nervously as he'd slowly inserted the key into the door as he'd drawn his first 6 cards. After he'd turned the key to unlock the door, he'd looked at the cards he drew. It wasn't a particularly bad hand. But anything she did could ruin his plans. Of course, however, that was always a possibility.
"First, I'll activate the Spell Card, Allure of Darkness." With that, he'd drawn his two cards and removed Nurse Reficule the Fallen One from the game. Once again, not a bad start. He'd then slid another card into the Spell/Trap Zone and activated it. A temple appeared behind him and he'd looked at the cards in his hand. "This is Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen. With its effect, I'll Special Summon the Fallen Angel, Darklord Zerato."
On cue, the warrior-angel loomed over Lumis. However, he was soon sucked into a bottomless hole and banished to worlds unknown. Lumis had put on a disapproving face for the Bottomless Trap Hole, but he'd kept his cool. To end his turn, he'd set 2 Spells/Traps and waved his hand a bit passively, signifying that it was now her turn.

She was glad she had set that trap.....that Darklord could have been a problem. "Alright, my move!" She grabbed a card from the top of her deck and pulled hard. "heh......I think I'll set one card face down. Then I will summon Raging Flame Sprite in attack mode!" A small little child-like sprite sprang up in a flame and appeared on the field, giggling as if it knew a secret. "Now, go, my little sprite! Attack his life points directly!" She pointed directly at Lumis and the sprite began to fly over to Lumis, as if wanting to tell him its secret.
But suddenly a portal opened behind Raging Flame Sprite and a hand pulled on its leg, pulling it into the vortex. Rebecca growled as she saw Lumis had revealed his trap to be Karma Cut. He discarded his card as she glared at him wordlessly. She was about to end her turn when suddenly something appeared on his field. It was another monster!
"What is the meaning of this?" Rebecca demanded angrily. "How are you gaining a monster?"
((You can make your move after explanation ^_^ just thought it would add some drama))

Lumis was waiting for the perfect moment. And there it was, the single moment where he'd removed her Raging Flame Sprite. And her shock seemed to surprise him a bit. But he took no time to hesitate explaining the effect of his card to her. "By the effect of the Zeta I discarded as a cost for Karma Cut. Its effect allows me to Special Summon a token to the field when a Monster you control has been removed from play. Raging Flame Sprite just happened to be that monster."
The girl didn't seem to calm down as Lumis had drawn his next card. It wouldn't help him in this situation. At least, for now. He'd ended up setting a S/T and clenching his teeth. Things weren't very pretty from the look of things. At least, he wouldn't go down without a fight. Sending in his token to attack, the little creature charged in and slashed at her face down with its 500 ATK points. Only to reveal an Arcana Force card. More specifically, the Fool. This certainly put a damper on any plans he would've had of attacking.
Besides that, though, he'd started to open the door next to him, not exactly knowing what to do from here, but knowing that they shouldn't have been making so much noise in the middle of the hallway. And he had a feeling that she wanted to finish this duel... He'd quickly made a signal for her to follow him as he'd entered the door, not wanting to get into any more trouble on his first day.

Rebecca scowled as she followed him into his room.....suddenly her heart began to beat wildly as adrenaline pumped through her veins. Regardless of whether they were dueling or not, she was now in enemy territory.......and her mind went into overdrive, and her actions became more fierce. She wasn't going to lose this one!
"I Summon Jain, the Lightsworn Paladin! Attack his little token!" Her Lightsworn in shining armor swung his sword......only to be imprisoned in a cage of darkness and disappered. Lumis' Dimensional Prison had stopped her attack......and removed her monster.....again.....and now she was left staring as he gained yet another token. Not that it mattered.....her Arcana Force 0 - The Fool remained on her field in defense mode, unable to be destroyed by battle. Although she was not vulnerable, she was still aggitated and she growled as she signaled the end of her turn. "You have to run out of tricks sometime!" She shouted through grit teeth.

"I'm already on the run, aren't I?" Lumis had sighed lightly as she'd so vehemently seemed to hate him for whatever reason. The room was still empty as well, since this was the first time he'd ever entered it. As she'd ended her turn, he'd drawn his next card, wincing. It seemed that he had nothing more to do for the turn.
"I'll switch my Biological Entity Tokens to defense mode and end my turrn." He'd pressed a button and they'd both entered a defensive position. It made him wonder just what this girl was thinking. After all, she was being awfully agressive and didn't even allow him an explanation. It seemed that the duel right now matched his current situation...

It was very weird dueling in the dark hallway like this....and the glow from the holograms and her duel disk only made it weirder for her. However, she showed no sign of fear or of being uncomfortable. Instead, the light actually probably just amplified the look of anger on her face as she drew her card. She hoped she could calm down by the end of this duel.....but for now.......
"I summon Breaker, the Magical Warrior in attack mode! Next, i will activate his special ability! you see, when Breaker is summoned to the field, he gains one Spell Counter! For each Spell Counter on him, he gains 300 attack! But I won't let that remain for long!" She stretched her hand out towards Breaker. "By removing his counter, I can destroy one of your precious backfield cards! I choose the one furthest from your deck!" Breaker raised his staff and an aura of magic surrounded Lumis' face down card, revealing it to be Dark Bribe, then shattering it to pieces. "Heh, now with that out of the way, I can activate this from my hand!" She slapped down a spell card and it revealed itself to be Lightning Vortex. Rebecca discarded another spell card from her hand and the storm of lightning began to swirl around Lumis' monster field, surrounding his two tokens and blasting them into oblivion.
"Now you are wide open for a direct assault! it's about time i took some of your life points away! Go, Breaker, attack him directly!" Her spellcaster raised its staff once more and dealt its damage to Lumis, causing his life points to drop to 6400.
((i'm gonna speed this up a little....)) She ended her turn, happy to have dealt some damage, and she could feel some of her anger abate, but she wasn't about to let him know that. He drew his card, but by his look of disdain, she could tell he had nothing yet, and he ended up ending his turn rather quickly. Rebecca drew her card and then pointed at him once more. "Breaker! One more time! Attack him directly with all that you have! Let him have it!" The magical blast struck its mark once more, and now the score stood at 8000 to 4800, Rebecca keeping a nice lead in this game. "I'll end my turn." She smirked as she pressed the button on her duel disk. "I really hope you pull through with something, or this will be your most humiliating defeat!"

Lumis had already taken two direct hits from that Breaker. It was time for this to stop. He'd drawn his next card and looked at the field. That face down on her field had him worried, but... Now was not the time to be worried about it. Activating the effect of Valhalla, another Darklord Zerato descended upon the field. Activating the dark angel's effect as soon as possible, Darklord Zerato sliced down Breaker and the Fool with his effect at the cost of discarding Fallen Angel Desire. "Alright... Darklord Zerato, go for a direct attack now!"
Unfortunately for Lumis, a scarecrow had gotten in the way of his plans. More specifically, the Scrap-Iron Scarecrow got in his way. Gritting his teeth a bit, he'd ended his turn, Darklord Zerato sacrificing himself in extension to his own effect. He'd sighed a bit as he'd looked at the girl. Now that he'd gotten a good look at her, she was really, really cute. It was a shame that they had met on such terms...
