At the Doctor's office, Johnson had done the usual tests and screenings. When the doc had come out with a clipboard, he had told him that for someone at eighty four years old, he was in excellent shape. However, he had announced that Johnson is suffering from rare disease and only has two months to live. His recommendation was that he go to some old home to live the rest of my days.
Nodding as a thank you, he had paid off the visit and headed outside to his home. He muttered to himself "I'll be DAMNED if some goddamn disease is going to kill me...." At one point, he had seen a special covering Shadow Dueling on the History Channel. And with that, he had an idea, he grabbed his Duel Disk, his deck and his gun just in case. He has heard that some Shadow Duelists don't die after a Shadow Duel. (Kagemaru anyone?) So in case the one who didn't die was a lunatic and had attacked him with a knife or something, he had a way to defend himself. Even if that was the case, it would be a fight still.
Heading towards the docks, he had set of for Domino City, Japan, where he could say his final goodbyes to his son.
