"Ai-ya......"
A slow sound as if a gear was being wound up could be heard within the the Duel Class teacher's office. If one were to look inside, they would notice a man that looked like a doctor turning what looked to be a key in a box on his desk. The turning was what made the noise, but it seemed to calm down the weird man that had an unlit cigarette hanging from his mouth.
He stopped turning the key, leaning back in his chair, spinning slightly. He had already figured out his first class, and possibly parts of the next three after, but he had promised to wait until near the middle of the month before starting it. Which left him with nothing to do until then.
His curiosity had been tugged when he heard about the museum incident, but upon finding out how many people were already on it took all the fun away from going himself. So, now, he would simply spin in his chair and wait for something to happen.

Robert, having been bored with only once class had come into the teacher's office area. As he had headed to the door for Dr. Franken Stein, he knocked on the door. "Excuse me Sensei, may I talk to you?" he said. He was hoping to get into his class, so he could have something to occupy him. He was unsure of what this professor would be like, but yet he would have to find out. However, this was the perfect time to find out, as he was hoping he'd accept a late student.

The teacher stopped spinning his chair, his back to the boy who had walked in. He then kicked his foot out, shooting his chair backwards toward the student. However, he did not know his office as well as expected. He hit a tile that was sticking up slightly from the floor, and was sent rolling into the wall, upside down and looking up at the ceiling with a slightly annoyed look on his face.
"I'm gonna have to do something about that tile....."
He rolled to his feet and walked to his chair, setting it upright and sitting in it backwards so the back of the chair was against his chest. He looked up at the student, his yellow eyes appearing briefly through the shine his glasses gave off, then smirked.
"Yes, what can I do for you?"

Robert, seeing the office, had calmly and confidently asked the teacher "Yes, I am Robert Zanrou, and I was wondering if I could speak to you about a late registration. I had... complications in my transportation to the Academia." he said, remembering that the boat engine had a major issue. Hopefully that wouldn't hinder him from asking for another class. By the time he got to the Academia, he had rushed in order to get his registration in for the Duel Monsters class, which he narrowly submitted in minutes before the deadline.

"Mmm, yes, I could take on another student, I believe. However, it won't be as simple as just asking me to attend this class."
The man kicked the floor again, the chair spinning across the room and stopping next to his desk, looking down at a few papers for a moment before turning back to Robert.
"Alright, Mr. Zanrou. I'm going to ask you one question, and that determines if you will attend my class." He then reached into his paper pile and pulled out a set of cards, holding them up to reveal them to Robert.
"What I have here are the Exodia cards. Not just the Forbidden One set, but also Exodia Necross and Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord. Would you make a deck that used all these cards and use it in a duel? Why or why not?"
As he held the cards, he watched Robert from behind them, his glasses just above the cards themselves. The intense yellow gaze he had was almost overpowering, as if he were trying to cause Robert to question his thinking.

Robert, looking over the set of cards, the first one being the orignal instant victory condition, than an undead version, and finally a different, yet relative win condition. Knowing from his experience that Exodia Necross and Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden One are two different styles of play and they rather contradict each other, he responded "I would have to say no. Exodia Necross and Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden One are two focuses, and despite how both focuses use the pieces, they'd still contradict one another" he said calmly. "Necross would require dumping and discarding the pieces to set a condition for Contract with Exodia, while Exodius should be amongst vanilla monsters." he said, as he knew this in a way. He has had experience at various tournaments. He has seen many experimental decks in his day, and a combination Exodia was one of them. The guy was good, but the multiple focuses had led to a massive downfall. "However, one would say yes since Exodius can send cards to the grave, thus fueling Necross, but the aim of that is to win with Exodius."

Dr. Stein looked at Robert silently for a moment, his eyes never wavering from the boy's own. He then turned back to the desk, setting the cards on it and speaking to Robert over his shoulder.
"Welcome to the Duel Class, Mr. Zanrou. Be prepared to learn.....or survive, whichever one you prefer."
He turned and looked back at Robert, grinning madly at him, the unlit cigarette between his teeth as he chuckled darkly. He then returned to normal rather quickly, tapping his desk for a moment.
"Now, I have many other things to plan, so I will see you at class."
He looked down at his papers again, picking them up and whistling to himself as he worked.

"Very good then, thank you Stein-sensei" he said, leaving the professor to his work upon request. Finally he had something more to do with his time, some more classes. Despite how he has seen and understood various builds in his day, he would rather see much more, possibly learn more. However, he was ready to learn and survive class.
He had maintained a cool composure throughout the meeting. He has seen and dealt with various people in his day as a part time worker. And besides, he wasn't even phased by the dark chuckling. With a grin, he headed back to his room, in order to conform his schedule to his newly acquired time killer. Who knows? This may just prove to be exciting.
