Just thought I'd post some cards up here and get them critiqued before I start making a character for the roleplay here. The character I choose to go with mostly depends on what cards get approved here and how much tweaking I have to do to get them acceptable.
I'll actually be showing a few different sets here in this thread. The first set are just a few custom cards that I made to go with the original "Chess Set Archfiends" and Equips like "Axe of Despair" from waaaay back in the day, which I still love to play with. And the other set is my own take on the Crystal Beast cards used in the GX Timeline.

Customized Archfiends
Archfiend Herald

The controller of this card pays 300 Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases (this is not optional). While you control an "Archfiend" monster(s) other than "Archfiend Herald", this card cannot be selected as an attack target. All Level 4 or lower "Archfiend" monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF.

In addition, negate the effects of an Effect Monster that is attacked by this monster until the end of the Battle Phase.

Whenever a monster equipped with this card attacks a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the equipped monster's ATK, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can pay 700 Life Points to return this card to the top of your Deck.
Shield of Dread
Equip Spell
If a monster equipped with this card would be destroyed by an effect, destroy this card instead. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard by an effect controlled by your opponent, you can discard 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to return this card to the top of your Deck.
