Confirming the name was one, but noticing how annoying he could be was another.
Xenneth was a curious fellow, he learned about the world through asking questions, just like the little child he represented in so many ways. He would look around letting his big blue eyes taking in the scenery, and then the next thing one would know, he would just as quickly pop a question upon first observation, whether to himself as theory, or to another who would know, he was just that curious. Observing people was no different, and he was quite fond of it seeing that he had gotten interest in some people such as Mesmere or the magician. Even if withdrawn with Leon at first, he wanted to admit that he too had interest, but it was his most vulnerable moments that the man had caught Xenneth.
He wanted to learn about them all, every student who had stuck out in a way that made them unique to the world and not as common as the laughing and mindless slaves of the “sheep crowd.”
By impulse, he had not even noticed that he had continuously barraged Mesmere with such questions to send out a vibe to make her make her quick assumption. Her green eyes were a definite notice to Xenneth as he would often sway away from contact, but made him even more wondrous was what was whether said or done to make them sit upon him in the first place seeing that he expected someone like her to keep her cool and statue-esque pose without minding him much as a simple passerby. With a movement of her finger that drew close, he found himself paralyzed as if trapped by that essence that seeped off her every since the moment he approached. At first, it was intimidating enough to make him stagger and stuttered in words to the point that he had to learn to overcome it, but now with a touch, no matter how simple, that essence became more thick because of the contact with the exotic Obelisk Blue.
“C-coming on…to you?”
He was unable to comprehend with his blue eyes gazing to her as if hypnotized. It had taken him a moment to take the pieces of the puzzle that was his mind before it had come together to process thoughts once more. Drawing a gentle breath, enough so that he could breath in the scent that drifted from her between himself, her, and the crisp autumn air, he had resisted the urge to draw back from the woman to present the wrong presence. Her essence was a magnet to him when it came to interest in the woman herself, but that too was a flaw since someone who had such sovereignty in presence made it seemed as if his attention was demanded.
…and so he gave it, and an answer; no matter how shaken.
“O-oh!” he had yelped with his cheeks burning into a rosy red, more so than usual, “N-n-no! O-of course not.” he had corrected, “N-not that I wouldn‘t since you are…no! Wait! I-I mean…ugh…!”
The situation was awkward now. His eyes drifted off and his face become even more bathed in his colorful red tint that. Pressing his lips together tightly, sealing them in shame before he could let himself fall into an endless loop of explanations and sorrowful apologies. He calmed himself, collected his breath as well as his thoughts that were scattered about to give a proper explanation to this moment, but he decided it was best to let them go as he let out a disgruntle moan to express his miserable moment of humiliation.
“U-umm…I‘m sorry. I-I didn‘t meant to…uh…”
His eyes were refusing to look towards the majesty of the young woman once more seeing he had become a fool while in her presence, or at least he would like to think so. A sound apology with no clear repentance for what was spoken lowly as he had fallen quiet once more.

Step back. Space for air. The obelisk’s fair hand ascends to a position above the ra’s purple hair. The calm. “Do not be concerned. I intended nothing of it.” Release. The emerald eyes traveled elsewhere on the roads. Hand relapsed to the folded position of white ribbon reminiscence.
“What are you intending to do here?” A faint question told in a parallel voice. Distance is a measurement locked as measurement is in perception.

Her words were comforting; she was quick to correct understandings and let Xenneth‘s mind set at ease with the right moves.
As she settled back into her collected pose, Xenneth could not help but to let his eyes go to her with a face that shown such great concern. His eyes reeling around the corner to catch a glimpse of her, seeing if she was noticing his hesitant face, and if so, he was already too late to dispel the obvious ignorance to the question in general. He had let his eyes go from the young woman to the soil once more. Grass was simple, it just grew, and grew and nothing more. Why could he not have a simple life like that?
“Do here? At Duel Academy?” he had asked as if he was trying to insure heer question, “I-I…I‘m not sure. I guess I just want to be successful.”
Powerful words they were, but they required a definite plan. Xenneth did not have one. He said plans so simply as if they were tasks to do on a small list for the day. However, things did not follow through that was every time. A wise person had once said, You want to make God laugh, tell him your plans. If that was the case, Xenneth was a riot, but the joke would grow less funny each day that he tried to follow things through…just as he planned.
Yes, grass was so easy. If he had to compare himself to the blades of grass once more, he‘d realize that they shared something in common; they were trampled over each day.
Chatty Ditz: Terrible post, but I‘ll edit it later perhaps to seem more…sensible. That doesn‘t stop you from posting though since it will not leave the current context it expresses now.

“Do you truly believe that is what you seek?” The question inquired. Straightening of the obelisk uniform. The inquiry seemingly did not come from the girl however unmistakably had. Card replaced with the rest. Emeralds cast back to the boy. Solitude. “Did you require anything else of me? If not then I shall be departing for my dorm prior to the sun’s decent.” Paroxysm in faded steels.

That question need not be answered, or at least that’s what he told himself. The shame of the answer only made him give that usual toss of her pupils until they went away from the green irises of Mesmere that so would get a straightforward answer. That was not the case this time as Xenneth himself could not give answers to questions that he himself was unsure about. He only let idly with a breath leaving his mouth and silence overtaking him as he tried to evaluate the question as soon as possible. Too bad you wouldn’t know after a minute of thought, right?
Fated Meetings made time fly…
His head turning and eyes closing only to reopen to gain a glimmer from scene of faint twilight that was starting to erupt from the sun’s creeping movements. He had not even noticed he had spent such time with Mesmere, enough so that the sun would set in a matter of time. Classes were not very long, and nor was the time with his Nursing duties, however, altogether plus that spent with the Obelisk Blue student had managed to take the day away. It was mysterious, the time with the young woman was short, but yet, the time in classes seemed so long. It had been forever since he had an experience like this.
“I‘m sorry,” he had perked up in tone, “I-I didn‘t even notice!”
His eyes going back to that of Mesmere as he had lifted his portfolio in arms, his head bowing quickly as he tried to give the young woman his sincere of apologies. Deep down, he had only wished he did not leave an impression that made him think that perhaps he bored the woman to utter death. The young purple haired boy was not the best conversationalist, and proof along was his constant apologies for every word said, and every second it took for them to say after the day was over.
“I did not need anything really…” he had said with his face flushing a slight red thinking about it, “…I-I guess you just stuck out, a-and I just wanted to say ‘Hello‘ for some reason. I‘m sorry if I wasted your time because of it.”

“I lack understanding of the basis for apology.” The reply in calm. Eyes of jade gazed the boy over. Limbs hung to the side of the slim figure. Seclusion. “Time is continuous. It is impossible to squander.” Slow turn. Face to the end, eyes backwards. “Our paths will undoubtedly cross for a second time. Farewell.”

He had to contain himself from apologizing consecutively to the young woman. He was so quick to it most of the time that he almost had forgotten that his company was more than time that was used for him. He of all people knew the value of time, but mostly because he used his to further himself blindly while distancing himself from his true desire. It was something he had not realized until he could remember the Obelisk Blue’s words of What he sought.
At that moment, his head had simply lowered as the reply he could have given was a simple, No. She was gone however with a turn and herself walking away with the utmost grace he would expect from someone who was just as refined with her words and manners. In a way, even if he was not familiar to that type of company, he found it very much pleasant; enough so that he had a weak smile come across his face and his words speaking weakly once more:
“Umm, See you again, Ms. Mesmere!”
Happily he said this, not very sure where his feelings had come from with such an interaction nor was he sure where they were going oblivious to exactly what “true” friendships where with his lack of social skills. He knew out of all his thinking, he would not know while he was standing there pondering about it, and there was work to be done with him taking action. Deciding he would speak to her later, giving her a precise answer to her question later, he turned away and begun to walk as the sun lowered itself at the speed of his paces. By the time he would return to the dorms, the twilight colors would engulf the sky the moment he would open his book, and close it to lay rest as the darkness would settle in.
