After setting up his computer desk and inserting the cables into their rightful places, Robert had gone to the door and posted a locked plastic case beneath the label 195. The plastic encased sign read 'open', signifying that his room was accessible to those who wished to visit for any reason. Now that he was at Duel Academia, he decided that he would attempt to make the most of his new home, since he would be here for quite some time. As he waited for anyone to come inside, he pulls out his deck box, containing his Gladial Beast deck. Slowly, he scans through his deck, admiring and examining each and every card.

Issy wandered almost completely without care back through the Ra dorms towards her own room – she hoped she would find her own room, it was just a matter of waiting until she got completely confused, and spent a while trying to get into someone else’s room, thinking that it was her own. She would end up doing that one day, unless she kept on top of where she stayed, and managed to keep her luck with her.
She passed one of the other rooms, with and ‘Open’ sign on it – wait. That room hadn’t been open before, had it? She could remember, maybe she just hadn’t noticed, that was more likely. But still ‘open’ it was tempting. Maybe she could just have a little peek, and find out what was on the inside, yeah she could do that couldn’t she.
”Uh, hello.” She said, pushing the door open slightly, and peeking her head in, before taking another step in. Wow the room was certainly almost the complete opposite from hers, considering it didn’t seem to be a complete mess, and there seemed to be some sort of order in it. She didn’t even notice the person in the room for a second.

Sitting calmly, a wood working knife and a block of wood in his hands, a bucket below it. He was carving a wooden figure, which was shaping out to be an anthropomorphic bird, the head somewhat carved out of the wooden block. As he had carved out a cone to begin an initial shape for the beak, he turned to the girl who had entered his room with a calm look. He put the knife in a drawer and the brick next to the bucket. "Hey there, you're the first visitor I've had today. But I forget my manners, I am Robert Zanrou" he replied in a calm, and kind manner.
He got up from the bed, in his Ra Yellow uniform, he attempted to get up and shake her hand. "Mind if I ask who you are?" he said politely.

Issy looked up, almost on sheer instinct alone, looking at the boy who was in the room, who then said he was Robert. ”My name’s Issy.” She said with a carefree smile, reply almost immediately to being asked, before looking around the room in a sort of mild amazement, not really realising he had offered to shake her hand. The room was interesting to her, there where all sorts of things in here she didn’t have, like a sense of organisation, and neatness, Issy didn’t care for things like that, or simply never found she would be able to get around to being able to put things into a system like that, so she had never properly tried in the first place.
”You have a nice room.” She said, smiling a little bit more, and wandering around in her mind, completely losing a sense of what was really around her. It was interesting what she was thinking about, looking at the room, and trying to place what would happen if she happened to live here, it would just be a mess in no time.

Robert, hearing that she complimented his room, responded "Thank you, just way I organized it" he said. Before he moved into his new room, it was just a standard living space. But he reorganized everything to fit his wants and needs. However, he kept a good deal of the area empty. If he had a room mate, or got something to put in his room, he was prepared for it.
"I'm just waiting for the class I registered for to start, so I have free time to try to introduce myself to some of my peers" he said. This was due to the fact that he signed up for one class. A class that hasn't started as of yet, but he was confident in his abilities in this class. He had much to say about duel monsters, and was more than happy to say it.
Noticing that she didn't notice his offer to shake hands, he withdrew his hand. Not taking offense at all, as he had noticed that it was a matter of focus, which was fine with him. She seemed like a nice enough girl. Unable to resist a part time job for the time being, he had sighed. "Are there any part time jobs students can take at this school?" he asked, hoping to find a way to gain a little cash.

Issy gave off half a smile, still looking around in the room. ”It’s so tidy, not like my room, it’s a mess already.” It was, and it would almost certainly never be tidy again, now that it had began to get messed up, everything she came into contact with from long enough ended like that, it was too boring having to tidy it up again, and she would always want to do something else, which would then result in her never tidying anything, well not until she had to leave anyway, and then everything would be quickly shoved back into wherever it came, or taken with her, or it had been lost, which seemed to happen an awful lot.
Then there was the question, part-time jobs? She didn’t know about any off the top of her head, but she knew very little directly off the top of her head, it always took her a couple of seconds to get her brain in gear for each and every question, though then she normally found that she knew the answer. ”Ummm….” She trailed off, staring at the ceiling. ”I dunno, might be.” Her head shot back down along with the answer, and a shrug of her shoulders, she really had no idea.

With a chuckle, he responded to her comment "Well, I have to be prepared for whatever comes my way" he said. Whether it was an item he had to put in or a room mate was brought to his room, he wanted to be ready. Either way, it was good to have all this extra space, as the room to him had a free flow to it. All this space to move around and get creative, he was confident in what the future would hold.
When she had said she didn't know of any part time jobs, he responded "thank you" in a gracious manner. He was going to look around the school later on, but for now he would keep greeting the visitors and carving his wooden replica of Ji Feng. (Bestiari)

Issy’s half smile didn’t seen to leave her face, as she shuffled slightly with her feet, only really possessing a partial awareness that the room was tidy, and she didn’t need to be as careful about where she placed her feet. It had felt slightly too quite to be comfortable, which made Issy want to talk again, before her mind wandered completely, and she ended up someplace completely different in her head, she would most likely at this point lose awareness of anything going on around her.
”What decks do you use?” It just happened to be the first thing to run into her head, so she had said it, quite simple, plus she just wanted to find out, a simple interest, not any of this stuff about finding out what cards people used because of their abilities or anything, she just wanted to find out.

Robert, when asked about his deck, looked around his room. He has wooden carvings of Zanji, Great Shogun Shien, Grandmaster of the Six Samurai, Irou, Yaichi, Laquar, Darius, Prisma and a Ji Feng was in development. He responded "Currently, I am using Gladial Beasts." However, he had plans for other decks in the future.

Going through the hallway Louis looked at the doors as he passed, soon he would have to apply for one. As he walked he noted one was slightly open and he looked in to see two people talking. A cute girl and who was dusting some wood shavings off his sleeve.
The boy noticed him and sheepishly Louis opened the door more "sorry to interrupt anything, I just say the door open. Hi I'm Louis Kachala" he took both their hands in turn and shook them.

Robert shook Louis' hand back, "Its fine, and I'm Robert Zanrou" he said calmly. Two people have stepped up in order to meet him so far. Issy and Louis, hopefully they would prove to be friends to him. Both of them looked like interesting people. Even though enemies were an inevitability, he wanted to make more friends than enemies.
"And if you see me with a knife in my hand, I'm just carving wood into a figurine," he said. Many figures, carved and painted to their finest details had halfway filled the shelf where a television would usually be. And near a bucket of wood shavings, a block of wood which was shaping to be an anthropomorphic bird. And he would never attack anyone, as he was a very stable person, and yet they would usually run into him with the knife in his hand when in the room. Carving wood was a hobby of his, and one of his ways of finding peace and comfort.

Issy listened to the answer which she got from her question, before someone else wandered into the room She turned around to look at them, before they introduced themselves as Louis. She felt her hand being taken, and shacked, before it fell back to her side again, at which point her mind tried to catch up with everything which was going on around her. ”I’m Issy.” She said with half a smile.
She turned around slightly, at the same time taking a step back to make sure she could see both of the people. From this point, she noticed some sort of wooden figures, like duel monster card arts, they where interesting, quite funny. She wanted to properly look at them, but didn’t, finding a form of common sense that you didn’t just take things like that off the table, you should ask first, shouldn’t you?

Robert, noticing that Issy had taken notice to his carvings gave a chuckle. "If you want to pick them up and look them over, be my guest. Just handle them with care and don't take them out of the room is all I ask of you." he said. He has had people want to look at his figurines in the past, and he didn't mind. He knew that just simply looking at the shelf would not really show off the details he had worked so hard to put into his carvings.
When carving and painting his figurines, he wanted to adhere to every detail. And his condition of handling with care was a common sense thing to him. He had put so much work into his carvings, hopefully they wouldn't be damaged. And he wanted to make sure they weren't stolen, so he had a strict policy of keeping them within the room, which to him was reasonable enough.

Louis took down the model of Yaichi and admired it the craftmanship, "this is pretty impressive." He seemed to sense an aura of warmth and time that went into making them. louis was very impressed with someone who could do this kind of work. "I see you tend to carve warriors."

Robert, looking at Louis admiring Yaichi and heard his comment. "Thank you" he replied, grateful to have heard a compliment of his otherwise private works. He usually was isolated while doing this. This is what he did with his time after he had to drop three of his four part time jobs after his month in the hospital. "Well, so far I've carved Six Samurais and Gladial Beasts. But I'm hoping to carve anything else that comes up." he said. He had already carved Laquar and Darius, and Bestiari was in the making.
