Jame had heard there would be another teacher arriving today. So for that, he decided he would greet her upon arrival. A good way to make her feel welcome. He wondered briefly if any of the other staff would come and greet the new arrival. Jame actually hadn't met that many of them himself.
And there it was. The ship was pulling into the pier. Jame searched the faces of the people that were coming off, trying to pick out who was the one he heard about.
He was dressed in his Ra Yellow Blazer. It was rather different than those of the students, to set himself apart from the students under his care. His build and face looked older than those of his students as well.
Now where oh where could our teacher be?

A certain blond-haired, emerald-eyed woman had walked off the boat and had a certain smile on her face. Her outfit was something that was casual, especially for a teacher. Her lips curved into a bit of a curious, exploratory smile and her eyes seemed to glide about with a peculiar elegance. Her hand was holding firmly onto the handle of her luggage and her other hand was placed on her hips, as if she were looking around for something. Then she'd noticed a certain someone out in the crowd. He seemed different from the rest of them. Older, for one thing. The next was his blazer. Clearly not the Ra Yellow blazer that was traditional. Perhaps he was her welcoming party. At least, it was an amusing thought. Haruna was only another professor, after all. She wasn't so important for the Headmaster to send her an escort. "Well, well, well. This is the academy, huh?"

Vahn slowly made his way through the pier, walking through one crowd after another. He usually spent his time wandering the island alone and It seemed that he had made a mistake of coming here today. The noise..the crowds of incoming students, it really wasn't his type of place. Vahn paid little or no attention to his current duties as the Assistant Headmaster so he had no idea of the new teacher arriving today, in fact he hadn't met any of the teachers save for one and even that was brief. Perhaps he was a little too much of a loner for this job.
After finally breaking loose from the crowd Vahn made his way down to the end of the pier, where what seemed like the last ship of the day had made port. There were still some people around, but not nearly as many as everywhere else. Not many students seemed to be disembarking from that particular ship so could have explained it. Vahn was wearing a modified Obelisk Blue blazer as he was also that dorm's adviser and over it he wore a large black and red coat, which almost seemed like something of a cape whose ends where being blown from side to side by the sea-breeze. All in all, Vahn always looked pretty conspicuous, especially since he always carried his model 1 circular duel disk with him, something which was considered ancient by now.

Jame noticed the blonde beauty approaching him and smiled. Perhaps this was the one he came to meet. "It indeed is," he said. He bowed as was custom then righted himself. "I'm Jame Grant. You may call me Jame." Jame was still getting used to the honorifics involved in Japanese, so he rarely asked others to use them for him.
"And are you..." he paused as he tried to remember if he would call her sensei as she was a teacher, or another honorific. "Haruna-sensei?" he ventured. This obviously wasn't his native tongue, though he spoke it well, excluding the pause on how he would address her.
He had the usual smile on his face as he spoke with her. His reason for being here wasn't commanded by the Headmaster, but had actually been on his own choice. The more people he knew and the closer he was to them, the better his time here would be.

Adal was roaming the grounds, it was natural for her to be curious, and she wanted to fulfill that curiosity. She hadn't really looked around the pier when she had arrived at the academy, she was tired when she had arrived. Though today she was in an especially good mood as she hopped and skipped around the pier. A bright look, just imagine a child receiving a new toy for no apparent reason.
Though she was in such a giddy mood she wasn't paying attention and tripped over somethng, she fell to the ground about five feet away from Vahn, though she didn't notice him, and started giggling quite weirdly. covering her mouth to stifle it, unsuccessfully.

Vahn continued walking down the pier towards the end and the ship that had just recently arrived. By now he had essentially drowned out all of the noise around him. By this time the strange woman that Vahn had come across once before had already tripped a few feet away from him, though it didn't even draw Vahn's attention in the least. He continued his stride until out of everyone around, someone did finally catch his notice. One of the people ahead was wearing a Ra uniform, a modified one. Vahn himself had one of those only for Obelisk and so he knew it must have been a dorm adviser. Vahn wasn't all that social but since one of his colleagues was here he figured he might as well go other and see what they were doing here.

"Hm?"
Haruna's eyes had turned to see that the person that she'd seen was indeed another professor. Whether or not the Headmaster sent him to get her was a story that wasn't exactly relevant, but it certainly amused her greatly. She'd chuckled a bit and nodded at the man, stretching a bit by pushing her arms into the sky. She'd soon followed up by putting her hand out to shake his hand.
"That's right~! I'm Haruna Shizuoka, one of the new teachers here. Since you're wearing the blazer of the Ra Dorm Advisor, I'd guess that you're a teacher too, eh~? It seems that the uniform didn't change as much as the buildings from when I last attended this academy~"
Haruna's eyes were soon averted from the man in front of her to notice that there were two other people at the pier. One of which was the Obelisk Dorm Advisor, which she could once again tell from the uniform he'd worn so easily. And the other was a woman who'd seemed to be older than the students by only a bit, a lot like Haruna. It intrigued her that the staff were so varied.

Jame was pleased when she offered her hand. Something familiar to what he was used to. He took the hand and shook it professionally. The smile was the only different thing about the handshake. It was friendly and even a bit charming. "That I am." Jame wasn't sure about the uniforms. He only knew what the school used to look like from pictures and architectural drawings. It certainly did have a few oddities.
Jame then noticed her looking around. "Oh the Obelisk Adviser there I believe is named Vahn Gale. He's also the Assistant Headmaster." Jame didn't know the man personally, but Jame knew who was who from other sources. "Never met him myself."
He then noticed the woman on the ground. Didn't take him long to recognize her, though she seemed different from before. "The fallen one is Adalheidis Lideadha, our chief Librarian." The giddy sounds he did manage to hear from her made him wonder if she was intoxicated. As well as the fact that she was face-down on the ground while making said giddy sounds. "I think I should check if she is alright." Turning to face Haruna again he said, "excuse me."
Jame walked towards Adal and crouched down bending at the ankles, knees, and waist, while still keeping his feet flat on the ground. "Good mood today?" he questioned in a friendly manner. He stood back up and offered a hand to help her up.

Refraining from laughing from laughing, she graciously accepted the help up. "Thank you, I fear I had a little too much coffee this morning." She smiled acknowledging that she wasn't intoxicated and that she was just hyper. She blinked at the woman who was on the pier who Jame had just greeted. Curiosity got the best of her. "I'm sorry for the extra hyperness, if I weren't so hyper I'd be the Library.. I think I will make myself acquainted with the woman on the pier, do you know her name?"
