When Adal opened her eyes, he would be sitting on the park bench immediately after the warp from the Shadow Realm. He ran a hand through his hair as he sat, one foot propped up on his other leg's knee, looking straight at her. He simply watched her, waiting for her to respond again. Since he understood Japanese but wasn't used to speaking it, and the same for her except English, he knew he had to listen carefully to what she said to understand fluently.

She remained still, trying to figure out where they were with her senses instead of seeing. But she didn't recognize it though, the sent, the sounds, they were familiar for she had passed the park many times, but never had she actually been in it. Which made it all the harder for her to relax, but she could tell they were in public, so that didn't bother her so much. She just stood there, eyes closed, tense, and relaxed at the same time, unsure of everything.
Okay, here's what she was sure of, there was a slightly dashing (good looking) man nearby, he was a shadow duelist, they were somewhere out in public and she scared stiff, in a literal sense too. Now a more peaceful look came over her but she still wouldn't move...or open her eyes.
"What exactly do you need to me to explain about myself?"
She asked quietly, patiently, and fluently in Japanese, yet slow enough where it didn't sound like a tangled knot. Her light blue hair covered her face again, but she didn't move, her hands were still clasped behind her back and she stood still.

He sighed and looked around. While there was no one around to see them magically appear in that spot, it was a public area. He looked around once more, and sighed once more, then looked up at her. "Relax and sit down. If I was going to do something, I would have kept us in the realm." He smiled, trying to be kind. The prospective thought of another like him, a forced Shadow Duelist, was very exciting. Someone he could connect with besides Camilla.
Maybe even a third in their group.

She opened her eyes, she still wasn't so sure about everything, but she would live, maybe. She looked around, a park? She knew she had walked past it many times, but it never quite registered that she was there, she'd never actually been it it. She gingerly, tried to decide to sit down, and she did, quietly.
"Happy?"

He looked at her, watching her for a second, before nodding quietly. He looked around at the park, listening to the birds sing, and the green grass. The sky was blue, it was a perfect day outside. He shrugged. "I brought us out here to talk, but I dont know exactly what to talk about. I was forced into my Shadow Tags just like you." He looked over at her, watching silently, waiting for a reaction, any reaction.

Mother nature's mood seemed to take a sudden turn as the sky began to darken and the wind began to pick up. Besides the two who were already at the park, the place was already fairly quiet yet now it grew quieter still. Amidst the leaves dancing in the breeze a figure drew closer, walking slowly through the park and approaching the two would be users of the shadows. As the figure drew closer it could be distinguished as a red haired man, wearing a rather large cape like black and red coat whose ends sways from side to side in the wind. He was carrying what some would identify as a relic in these days. A model one circular duel disk which swung on a chain which the man held in his hand. It was both a peculiar and bizarre sight. He was obviously no ordinary duelist.
Vahn Gale was quite the enigma. He was the newest Assistant Headmaster of Duel Academy and while he took on this role, his personality was drastically different; the opposite of everything he seemed to be now. Not many of the students knew about him yet if any so in effect he was still just as much a traveling duelist of the Twelve Dragons as ever. His mission, to search for powerful duelists around the world and defeat them, or be replaced trying.
Soon enough Vahn came right past the bench where the two others were situated. He spent only a single glance to examine them and slowly continued forward. A confused looking woman and an idiot, neither of which were of any interest.

He continued looking around the park as he saw a figure approaching. After a few seconds of studying the tall figure, he realized who it was. However, as the figure passed, he offered a snide look to Leon and the girl he was with, and Leon frowned. He called out to the figure whom he knew as the Red Dragon, as well as the new Assist Headmaster, and tilted his head. "You got a problem, Dragon Breath?" He just stared, challenging him with his eyes.

Vahn stopped, the only reason being that he didn't like something in the boy's eyes. A lack of discipline and respect. The wind blew Vahn's coat backwards as he turned around to leer at the boy once again. Such a look only inspired a challenge, but this kid had no idea what he was getting himself into. Vahn almost felt sorry for him. In a moments notice, he had already put on his archaic duel disk, ready to sweep the insolence from his would be challenger.
"Come."

Heh. So he wanted to duel? Fine. Taking out the Red Dragon would be an interesting feat. Leon slowly stood up, staring at the other duelist, still in his working out clothes. Pushing his hands deep in his sweat's pockets, he swayed lightly on his feet as he stepped forward. He reached up and stroked the petals of his shadow charm, the ever-living rose at his neck, then stopped, grinning. "As you probably don't know, Gale, I'm a magician. So don't be so surprised when I pull a win out of my hat." He raised his arm and a duel disk appeared on his arm, bright red with a small rose at each end of it, engraved into the disc.
To Vahn, this would likely be nothing more than a trick, but he looked back and grinned at Adal, as she would know it was shadow magic that he used to summon the Duel Disc. He reached into his sweat pockets and pulled out his deck, in a protective case to not get ruined, and slid them into the duel disc. He activated the disc and held it out, grinning. [YVD is amazing] Vahn's creatures were pale and full of static in comparison to those generated by more up to date duel disks, but that didn't stop the enormous Trident Dragon from annihilating all of Leon's points in one turn. It was just as Vahn has predicted, perhaps even worse. Out of the seven turns Vahn though his opponent would last...it only took one to bring him down. As the holographic flames from Vahn's dragon died down he removed his duel disk and placed it back in its original position.
Vahn didn't exactly look disappointed, why would he be? It wasn't like he had expecting anything great from this duel, if one could even call it that. If anything he looked angrier then before. He was just a stupid kid, who now knew his place. With that Vahn turned and continued his slow walk in the opposite direction.

Leon blanched. In only one turn after drawing? How the hell?! He growled, then blinked and looked back at Adal. Frowning, blinked at her, then looked back at Vahn Gale. So he really was as good as they said, and it wasn't just rumors. Suddenly he jumped forward into a run, following the famous Duelist. "Hey Red-Eyes!" (lol) He caught up to him and turned so he was facing the duelist."That was a ridiculously easy duel to win." He looked around, slightly embarassed, then looked back up to Vahn Gale. "Can you...train me? To be as good as that?" It burned his cheeks red just to admit he was bad enough that he needed training. But it would help. Immensely. He raised his hand to run it through his hair, his duel disc still glinting pinkish in the sun, the flower symbol flashing.

This is Adalheidis... blink, blink, blink, "what the fuck look?!" and blinks more. She was confused, no doubt about it. Normally, she would just walk away, but she was confused and even more confused, and didn't feel like moving, so she watched, and watched, without any emotion on her face, normally she would've been laughing at how he lost so quickly, she found this a none laughing matter. Just because she was confused. Yes, she was confused, and I will keep stating that because I have no idea what else to right.
"Well, then."
All she could say, in not so good English.

Vahn stopped once again as Leon caught up with now. To be honest Vahn was expecting what would normally amount to whining and it was surprising to hear that the boy actually wanted training from him. Vahn looked down at him with his usual cold expressionless face.
"What makes you think I would invest in training someone like you? So far you've proven to be nothing but a punk kid."
Vahn's eyes narrows as he caught to glimpse of the Rose insignia on the boys duel disk. What did that mean and why was it so familiar looking? Vahn's mind searched for an answer to those questions as he awaited Leon's response.

"You barely know me. I could be a really cool guy." A lame excuse, yeah. But he wanted to learn more from the Red Dragon. And he also happened to be the Assistant Headmaster of the school. If he could learn from Vahn, he and Camilla could protect the school more easily. Shrugging, he stared at Vahn, folding his arms, not saying anything more.

"Nice to know I've been long forgotten about...."
She walked up behind the red haired man, she had yet to meet him so she was still confused. She was perfectly fine with that though, she just prayed he wasn't the type of guy that'll spin around an punch... She grinned lightly, he seemed to be that type of guy that was interesting. Normally she didn't just go up and talk to people but she was tired of sitting around stupidly.
"And why so cruel? The kid just asked a simple question. How you've gotten this far in life, amazes me, do you ever use manners?."
