Marvelo slowly walked through the museum heading directly towards the new attraction. He was in no rush and the crowd of people around him probably led to that, but either way he wanted to see what was the rush to see this new attraction. Coming in where the the tablet was, Marvelo squeezed his way through the front. In a glass case stood a proud tablet with ancient writing on it. A description chart was to the right of it.
This tablet shows the story of the war nearly ten thousand years ago when humanity's roam upon the earth was still young. It was a war between the embodiment of the elements themselves, whose attributes are still used today. Divine, Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Light and Dark were once in a power struggle between the seven of them. Their ultimate goal was a source of power that would declare them the true reigning element within the world, and the ruler. Thus, this tablet is an invaluable treasure.
It was intriguing to the young Obelisk. It was a tablet that stated the story of the ancient war between the different Attributes. Utterly complete crap to think about but it was worth a shot. The tablet would have to specifically state that Duel Monsters were in fact real at a time, however there wasn't any proof unlike dinosaurs. A picture on a wall is different than the actual remains. Marvelo sighed after finding this out.
How was something fake...invaluable. It was like saying a fake diamond necklace was more valuable than a real one, even if the size was smaller. Marvelo slowly walked outside of the attraction. As others dazzled at the marvelous lie, Marvelo found himself perched on the wall just outside of it. He held his head up. He had already payed money so leaving right now was not going to happen. Looking around he looked to find someone he knew or anyone, close to rank, from the Academy. There had to be someone here.

A small head with a pair of large brown eyes stared up at the tablets. She was one of the many people staring at the tablet behind the glass that protected it. Her long brown hair hung freely as she pushed a strand of it behind her ear. She wasn't bothering to look at the small chart with the information written on it, rather, she was looking at the tablet itself. If it wasn't for the red velvet ropes that kept her one foot from the tablets, she would have put her nose up against the glass.
Roxxan smiled softly as she looked over the tablet. It was authentic at least. She backed up from the tablets and stared up at the tablet in full view. The legend was interesting to say the least. A mythical battle between different affinities of the elements. It was as grand a legend as the Shadow Games themselves. Any normal human would immediately call this foolish, but Roxxan liked to believe in the mystical aspects of life. It made it seem much more interesting.
At school everyone knew her mostly due to her transferring to the school from London, England. Not only that, but she was in the top of most of the classes. Odd thing was, no one had ever seen her duel or even knew what deck she had. Roxxan's dueling style was an enigma.
Her eyes looked over it one last time before she turned and left the attraction. She check her watch to find she still had time before having to return to the academy. A soda machine caught her attention as she walked over to it. An obvious confused expression came over her face. All these colas where different from the ones back home... They had canned coffee of strange names, Diet Water?....Coolpis? Not to mention Pepsi Ice Cucumber...
She took a calm step from the Soda Machine, her trust in Japanese beverage judgment dropping by the seconding. Roxxan turned and began to walk towards a wall with a bench in-front of it. She sat down silently, not noticing the fellow student perched on the wall next to the bench. Roxxan muttered silently in English, '' Honestly.. The Japanese have such strange drinks.. ''

Marvelo's eyes began to wonder as a method to figure out how to waste time came into mind. He was mostly looking for Academy students but it appeared he was one of the few to actual go out to these events. The first thing that caught his eye was the sight of a girl in front of him. The way she went about the Soda Machine was in a way hilarious. Most people went to the machine with a firm choice of what they wanted. However, the girl went and backed away as if a ghost was fogging the glass of the machine. She then walked straight towards him.
Immediately his eyes and head turned to the opposite side. With the corner of his eye he noticed that the girl had not had any attention on him. Slowly he turned his head back and looked down to the ground. She had taken a seat to the bench beside him. He took notice to the brightness of how close she was. Only one thing could cause that and it was the yellow color of the Ra Yellow dorm. A small grin appeared on his face. Wait in time and things do come, don't they? Words came from her mouth. He couldn't distinguished exactly what it was but it was obviously from the lack of enjoyment in the drinks.
"They aren't that bad," Marvelo said. His voice was strong with no sense of fear in it at all. His purple eyes looked over to the Ra Yellow student. "Are you new to Japan? Or in that case Domino?"

Roxxan took her book-bag and placed it on her lap as she pulled out a small laptop. It was one of the newer ones that could run for hours on a full battery. It was also small so it would fit in most bags and purses. She opened it silently and turned it on. The background of the London Eye, one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world, in the evening was displayed on it. In-front of the wheel was a young girl and an older blond boy. They looked like siblings, which they where. It was a picute of Roxxan and her older brother when she was little.
She looked up as she heard a boy talking to her. Her large brown eyes looked towards him and she smiled weakly. '' I-I'm not use to such... unique beverages '' she told him. Unlike the older boys strong voice, her voice was frail and fragile. The voice one would expect a doll to have it enchanted to be brought back to life.
'' Yes, I am new to Japan '' she said as she turned to her computer for a brief moment before turning back to him. '' I came from the United Kingdom. ''

United Kingdom. What a pleasure to be a in the presence of someone from the Queen's Kingdom? Britain always appeared to be an interesting place to be, especially from his father's point of view. Britain, America, and France were main targets for business. The words haunted him in his mind but he kept his main focus on the girl in front of him.
"That's really something," Marvelo said. "It's not everyday you meet someone outside of the country. Especially when they're from the Academy." Inside, Marvelo began to feel a little uncomfortable. He wasn't use to talking to someone that was naturally shy. It felt weird. Most people he talked with accepted his tone that naturally switched between sarcasm, seriousness, and joking consistently. This was going to be interesting.
((sorry got a little writer's block atm))

It was something? What did he mean by that? A lot of students at the Academy had used words like that to describe it also. Roxxan was naturally worrisome, so she was afraid it meant they had no positive words for her place of origin. If that was so, then her home really was something, just something they had no courage to tell her...
'' I-Is it really that odd? '' she asked as she looked down at her laptop self cautiously. Roxxan was always nervous and shy, it was who she was. Her lack of human contact outside school was actually rather surprising.

Marvelo was a little surprised with her answer. Had he done something wrong? Quickly he responded to hopefully clear things.
"Not in a bad way," Marvelo stated. "It's probably just me, but either way it good to meet people from around the world." Folding his arms, Marvelo continued to lay back on the wall. This was beginning to be a little easier but confidence on both sides wasn't assured. He had to pick his words carefully or else face being questioned as to why it was asked or even said. Probably easy for a person who rarely talked, but for a free-minded duelist it was another story.
"Sorry but I never think I got your name," Marvelo said. "Mine is Marvelo Namaguchi. I'm a mix between American and Japanese."

Roxxan nodded as she looked down at her laptop silently. It was good to meet people from around the world right? What she was having issues with right now.. Was learning the language of the part of the world she was in currently. Her Japanese was shaky at worse, but it wasn't the best she'd ever heard of a foreigner speak.
'' M-My name is Roxxan Greenfield '' she said as she smiled softly, '' I'm British and part Egyptian. '' She placed her hands together silently and looked up at Marvelo, '' Did you come to see the new Exhibit? '' she asked as she turned her small head to the entrance to the Attraction that was the duel monster tablets.

"It's nice to meet you Roxxan," Marvelo stated. Her orientation was by far the most different and interesting he'd ever heard. She was part British and Egyptian. How unusual? Both countries were in different continents but financially did support each other in this world. Maybe it wasn't as different as he thought. The British in the 1800's did establish a strong trading system through the Nile. Then again History wasn't his best subject.
When being asked about the attraction, Marvelo turned to see the crowd of people beginning to gather around. Was it really that interesting? They were simply looking at a rock piece with interpretative readings on it. The story was too far-fetched to even think to believe. The attributes of our monsters in battle in the past. It couldn't be true...right?
Marvelo turned back to Roxxan and began to answer.
"Yeah I was here for that," Marvelo stated. "But I'm not sure if it was more for my job, personal feelings, or just interest. Not really happy with what the results were."
