"I'm from the United States. Came here for the job." Jame wasn't a citizen of Japan yet, and he doubted he would choose to become one. He was fine with his permission to stay here and work for now. He was proud of his home country and proud to be a citizen of it. He wasn't going to specify what state though unless she asked. He wasn't sure how much she would know about it, because until he had been accepted for the job, he didn't know much at all about Japan. He studied it more after getting the job.
"Before that my ancestors were from Italy and some people from Scotland." Jame did have traces of both somewhat, though the latter of the two origins was the most prevalent.

"You have quite the heritage, I'm mostly Japanese, though my Great Grandmother from my mother's side was Irish, everyone else was Japanese. She smiled kindly at Jame, he was nice, maybe the other staff of the facility would be too, she could only pray. Though she had no idea what else to talk about, so she hoped he had something.

"Irish, eh? That is a far way off. I don't expect you would know how or why your Grandmother came here?" Jame couldn't think of much of a good reason. He could actually think of many reasons against it based on an estimated time period it might have taken place.

She blinked, she knew she had heard the tale when she was at least two, maybe three, but that was soo long ago! It had something to do with a ... she didn't know. "I have not a clue, I was young when I was told the story. She said still in thought, it would probably come to her in the worst time possible.

It had more of been a rhetorical question. "That is alright," he said. "It'll come to you later I bet. Always do, even if you don't need it. Or if you really want it it will never come to you." Jame had several experiences with both. He was still trying to find the name of a certain movie which he saw a long long long time ago from when he was a kid. He had been reminded of it two years ago, and still hadn't found it out.

She nodded, she understood both correctly, she looked around the library. Unsure really what to talk about, it was hard for her to create conversations, but it was easy for her to participate once someone else creates the topic to be conversed. She was a strange woman in that way. "How long have you been interested in Duel Monsters?" She was curious, completely.

"For as long as I can remember," he answered in a friendly manner. "My Granduncle, who raised me, was the best duelist in the United States Army." Jame took a deck out of his pocket. "This is the very deck he used." On the top of the deck was the card shown The Agent of Judgment - Saturn. "And that was his ace card. He was one of the two people that taught me how to duel. The other was married to a cousin of mine."
Jame put the deck back in his pocket, where it would be safe. It didn't have much price value, but it did have a lot of sentimental value to Jame. It and his Granduncles flag were the only things that were with him here at the Academy. "What about you? Any interesting stories about how you became involved?"

She had an interesting story, she had a few, all of which were what pulled her into duel monsters. None of which she would willingly share of course. So she would go with the uninteresting truth. "Not interesting, but my brother and I were very close, he came home one day after school and his freinds had just introduced him into duel monsters. He came home and taught me. Nothing exciting." She smiled kindly at Jame.

"That was nice of him." Jame could appreciate family connections. He had no siblings, but he was close to some of his cousins and in-laws. "He must have been a good teacher. What about any fun dueling experiences?" Jame had a very small number that stood out, but he expected more to come now that he worked here. Also since he was between many Ra students getting into Obelisk.

"None were fun, most were painful. But yes, Axton was quite a good teacher even though we ran two completely total styles." She shrugged, painful, fun, what's the difference? They were duels were they not?
