Name: Matt Hirama Gender: Male Description: A typical Obelisk Blue dorm: luxurious with fancy furniture and appliances. The only thing setting this dorm apart from other dorms is a ton of posters and a massive amount of cards piling around a desk in the corner. Usernames of Residents: hirama

Name: Airi Matsuoka Gender: Female Description: Her dorm is pretty plain. In fact, it's just a normal dorm. There's nothing special about it as Airi doesn't have many material possessions. That's just simply how it is. Usernames of Residents: hikari2yami

Name: Cirno Hanayuki Gender: Female Description: Dorming together with Airi Matsuoka, Cirno has adorned her side of the room with lots of Winter-related items. From snow globes on the drawers to snowflakes hanging from strings on the ceiling. Apparently, she loves the winter and has left the walls of her side of the room white (or changed them accordingly). She also has Ice Pokemon figures on her nightstand. Needless to say, her decorative sense is odd, but innocent. Usernames of Residents: cirno, hikari2yami

Post by Mesmere on Sept 29, 2009 21:20:15 GMT -5
Name: Mesmere Gender: Female Description: Contrast to other obelisk dorms, one room remained unadorned with frivolous objects. Mesmere is known to stay within this dorm that contains only essentials for living, in terms of noble living in this case. A queen sized bed with navy blue sheets to accommodate rank color and a work desk masking hidden locked drawers are the only pieces of furniture of importance. Clothes on average are scattered around the room. The few appliances found are most lavish in use and appearance. Upon the knob of the doorway, a hanging note visible to the outside of the space known as the dorm holds the quote, "Do not disturb" Usernames of Residents: atrayis

Name: David Frost Gender: Male Description: If there is one thing to be said about David, it's that he likes to keep things simple when at all possible. This is also true of his Dorm Room. The walls have been painted with a soothing navy blue and are relatively bare except for a few small shelves and movie/gaming posters that are spaced around the room. The bed (which looks like it hasn't been made in weeks) is fairly modest in size and is covered with a large quilt knitted with blue, purple, and white patches of dark shades. A small desk equipped with a laptop and all of the usual fineries sits sits off to one side near the window overlooking the ocean. Other than that, the only other notable piece is a large bookcase that nearly occupies the entire space of a wall. It is filled with all sorts of books that range from duel theories, ancient and modern history, and even a few that are written about more mystical subjects like mythology, the study of druidry, and the uses of rune stones. However, there is also fine layer of dust covering them that suggest they haven't been looked at in quite a while. Usernames of Residents: Protean

Post by Faye and Maxene Howell on Nov 13, 2009 3:44:34 GMT -5
Name: Faye and Maxene Howell Gender: Female and Male Description: The room the twins share jointly is always neat and tidy, if you were to enter the room the first thing that would strike you would probably be the lack of two separate beds, rather a single double bed right in the center of the room, the walls are colored a light, sky blue and the large windows-cum-doors which lead out onto a balcony have white nets instead of curtains.
The next thing you would notice as you took your eyes off the bed would be the near symmetry between the two sides of the room, a large wardrobe and a desk on either side of the room, filled with a variety of bit and pieces which the Twins have collected. The Desk of the right, being Faye's, has its surface strewn with a variety of pens, books, notes, cards and other stuff which just gets dumped there, and Maxene eventually tidies up and puts away, which is shown on his desk on the left, on which everything is neat and in place, papers stacked neatly and pens and pencil in a tall pot.
Off to one side there is a small door which leads into a rather luxurious bathroom with a large bath, a shower and two sinks, the virtual arsenal of toiletries shared between the two are divided between the two sinks, in roughly the same state as their desks.

Name: Faye and Maxene Howell Gender: Female and Male Obelisk has two dorms, one male and one female dorm, right? How do you propose that a roomshare between the two of them would work? Masami, remember that this is an AU site of Yugioh GX. Therefore, things aren't exactly the same as it was for the show. However, I'll check and verify. It can be AU, but it's an arbitrary point to differ from the show. It also would be only incident of a coed room.

Then it is the only incident of a co-ed room. If I may be so arrogant to suggest it, you have a problem with the way that we run a site? Go run your own. I'm not tolerating you nitpicking at how the staff wishes to express the story of YGO GX. This universe has co-ed dorms and a chance for co-ed rooms. Why? Because the whole point of trying to keep things non-sexual is blown out of the water by the rampant lesbians. You have a problem with that? You know what to do.

Because the whole point of trying to keep things non-sexual is blown out of the water by the rampant lesbians. So because of a current unbalance in playing demographics, we should throw canon and realism out the window? So if we had a sudden shortage in male Obelisk students, you should make Obelisk a girls only dorm just for kicks and giggles? Forgive me for saying that doesn't make any sense. And if it does differ because it's AU, then maybe you can do the practical thing and post some general facts or information about these things so these kinds of confusions don't come up. At least that way, it would be fair and not arbitrary.

You think you can run a forum better then I can? I've had to put up from you with everything from you calling me lazy because I don't feel like abolishing the character limit to this and a few more instances. Go make your own damn site and quit nitpicking mine. And if you feel as if you cannot go make your own site and run it, then consider the option of presenting your points in a non-insulting manner.

Evan's slice of the room is really no different. As a matter of fact, David's stuff could be consider to dominate the room. This is because Evan chose to rest by the window. This allows him to climb into bed from the window, and to climb outside after waking up. His bed had lockable drawers on its frame. This is where he keeps his clothing, books, games and laptop. He had also installed a board that can be lifted out to be used as a desk. This allows him to use his laptop freely. Basically the bed is his section of the room. He chose it to be this way because it was all he really needed. His book bag is slung over the post, which contains his class books, his decks and his duel disk.
