Kuroshiro is the type of person who can do things capably and doesn't mind doing them. He's a helping person and it's his nature to assist those who request it. Sometimes, he'll also help people who don't request it. This can lead to some problems sometimes, but otherwise it's nothing that anyone would have to be worried about. Besides that though, there's nothing too special about him. Alongside this not-very-special trait about him, there's also his other side.History:
Having a bit of a loner side, Kuroshiro tends to like being alone, unless something is required of him to be in a group. If he is in a group, he will be cooperative, but will never take a position of leadership. He can be kind at times, but will, most of the time, be oblivious to his surroundings if it doesn't either appeal to him or doesn't involve him directly. Besides all of this, he has a distinct passion for dueling and will not back down from a duel unless greater things are at stake.
Kuroshiro was born with his odd eye colors and hair colors. No one knew why, but they didn't really care. He was still himself. In fact, they were practically his identity. His parents had decided to name him Kuroshiro, translating to "Black White" and referring to his hair. Because of this trait, however, many of the other children shunned him from playing with them, or just left him alone by himself. It's not that he minded, at first, but he began to feel lonely. He wanted to play with them now, but was rejected, as he always had been. He had always been alone, but, later, there was something that caught his interest.Status: Academy Staff
Duel Monsters. A popular card game at the time, he picked up his own set of cards and began to play. At first, he played a Chaos Deck, sporting "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" and "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End." He challenged kids to duels and he became popular among them as one of the strongest duelists in the town. Later though, a problem arose. The problem was, that the Banned List hit hard and he was forced to re-make his deck. Then, he found the card, Dark Necrofear. The image was that of a woman taking care of a broken doll. Feeling like that broken doll, he got the card and created a deck based around it. It worked almost like his Chaos Deck, using the removal of monsters to summon Dark Necrofear, and taking advantage of its effect. These were good times.
His parents noticed is love for the game and decided that they would send him to a place where there would be others like him. Solar Dusk Academy. Bringing his Dark Necrofear Deck with him and his old Chaos Deck, he would begin a new life in this place. However, he has no idea what's happened during his time in the academy. The place was destroyed and his memories were cleared of his time within. When the academy was destroyed, however, he was somehow off of the island. As if a force had taken him away. He had no details of why he was at home, but his parents decided to send him to a new academy.
Crimson Wind. There he'd met with a crazy silent girl but developed his own amusements with her. The rest of the time he was there was uneventful, though. So he'd graduated peacefully and he'd taken a position somewhere in Domino, doing odd jobs around town to keep himself steady. Then he'd heard about jobs being open at the nearby academy. He figured that perhaps it'd be a good idea to join in and see what was happening there. Perhaps it'd be interesting. It was around this point that he'd decided upon becoming the professor for the Duel Class. He could teach the students how to play well and, perhaps, put students in their places. He couldn't say that he was great at the game, but good enough for the job? No one could know that for sure, but he'd decided that he'd go for it anyways.

Kuro sat in the library, yawning lightly as he'd thumbed through the contents of a book that had recently come in. It was a boring book. He'd wondered about whether or not kids would actually borrow books like this from the library and had remembered that it was a library. Anyone would come in and borrow anything. That was just how a library was. He'd yawned a bit and took out his old Duel Disk, brandishing it a bit. He'd then noticed an Obelisk Blue come along and a small smirk formed on his face. Maybe there was something he could do right now after all... Instead of looking through boring books.Additional Information:
"Need any help with anything? I can assist with dueling tips as well. Of course, you're an Obelisk. You probably don't need the tips." The Obelisk looked at him with a weird look, almost as if he was better than Kuro. The teenager chuckled a bit and waved his arm at Kuro passively. "Tips? From an old man? Don't make me laugh." Old man? Kuro could have sworn he was only 23. "You shouldn't be laughing. This is a library, which should be quiet. Unless you need me to knock you down a peg outside." The boy chuckled and balled his hand into a fist, prepping his Duel Disk over it. It looked like Kuro was going to actually do something for a change. He'd set the book he was holding down and walked outside, his Duel Disk humming to life. This was going to be an interesting year.
