The museum....the one place one could go to learn of this world's history. Artifacts litter the floors, many displays to keep visitors in awe. Some come just to see these artifacts and gawk. Some come because they are forced. But others...yes, others come to actually learn history....and the secrets it contains.
Kisa stood before a large tablet of stone. Her hooded figure stared at the hieroglyphs upon its shape. As an archaeologist, she could certainly appreciate the ancient lettering engraved into the stone....as a servant to the shadows, she wished they would tell her the secret powers that they should contain. Why wouldn't they speak to her? Ancient writings got her into this mess....why couldn't they get her out?

Lumis walked into the museum, Wiz sleeping peacefully on his shoulder. He was wearing a gray blazer over a black shirt and a pair of navy jeans. His eyes seemed to scan the area, though it was less robotic than it sounded. It had been awhile since he'd even entered this museum and it had been even longer since he was getting a familiar feeling. A feeling that he'd missed. The feeling that someone he cared for deeply was nearby.
His crimson hues laid themselves upon the cloaked figure nearby a tablet that he'd examined before. Something resonated with his heart at that moment and he'd walked towards the cloaked figure, petting the small creature on his shoulder lightly. His hand moved from the cabbit over to the person's shoulder and he'd tapped it lightly. "Is there something I can help you with? I don't work here, but I'm very familiar with it all."

A voice spoke to her, breaking into her thoughts. It was a male voice. He was asking if she needed assistance. Kisa did not turn to face the speaker...instead, she continued to stare at the tablet. Her face remained hidden, and she lowered her voice as she spoke in response.
"I don't need assistance. Please. Leave me in peace." Her voice was soft and dark...but it had a definite hint of threat lining it. She did not want to be bothered here....she just wanted answers. She would be highly surprised if she could find someone who could assist her.

That voice that he'd heard... The same, blank voice as the one he'd heard in the park that one winter morning. Wiz's ears seemed to perk a bit in reaction, but he remained asleep. Lumis, on the other hand, seemed tense. He'd sensed every tone in her voice. How cold it was. How threatening it was. He'd clenched his other hand into a fist, slightly from worry. The tap on the girl's shoulder became his hand delicately placing itself there, Lumis taking a step forward and placing himself closer to her, within heat-feeling range. He'd breathed in gently, a slight chill running over him.
"Kisa... I can't leave you in peace if you reject me so bluntly." Part of him knew that she wasn't herself. The other part of him knew that it was somewhat pointless for him to continue chasing her. She was different. More different than he had ever imagined. But it was his lover. The one that he'd wanted so dearly to stand by. He wouldn't allow himself to turn a blind eye to her pain.
"Let me help you. You remember who I am, don't you?" Wiz yawned gently, making a gentle sound into her ear . Lumis looked from his pet back to her. A wave of serenity surrounded him. He needed to remain calm. He remembered their previous meeting. She was pushing him away. But he needed to remain close to her to know what was wrong. He wanted to be sure that everything was going to be okay...

Kisa tensed as the tap became a full rest on her shoulder. The voice sounded somewhat familiar to her....but the shadows had eaten away at her memories so much that she couldn't remember even a few months ago when they'd met in the park, nor could she remember his name...or what exactly he really meant to her.
"I warn you....step away and leave." She paused and turned her head slightly so that a little of her face could be seen. "While you still can." All she wanted was her memories back....but with the shadows from her encounter so long ago constantly eating at her mind and soul, she was becoming a machine....one that would do the bidding of the shadow realm no matter what if she didn't find help soon. "I will not ask you again." She turned a little more and raised her unactivated duel disk threateningly.

Lumis was caught off guard as she'd turned to see him and her Duel Disk seemed to be resting at her side, though lifted lightly as a warning. She was giving him a chance to turn back. A chance to get away from her. Some part of him saw this as her final cry for help and, as such, he would not ignore it. He'd allowed his hand to remain on her shoulder, gripping her lightly as he'd let out a soft sigh.
"You've really changed that much, huh, Kisa? I won't let you ask me to leave you alone again because I'll always remain by your side. Now stop this nonsense and come back to yourself!" He'd pulled her close to him now, turning her face towards his as his warm, crimson eyes stared into her blank, frozen sapphires. He wasn't going to let her light fade so easily. If she'd been engulfed in the darkness, he could be the only one to free her.
"If you're going to duel me, then go ahead. I'm going to risk everything to save you, Kisa. Everything...!" He'd dipped his arm into his blazer and allowed the Duel Disk to grasp his wrist as he'd slowly pulled it out, the machine humming to life slightly as the deck inside of it shuffled itself. "Let's dance, darkness."

"I have to admit...." Kisa whirled to face him, jumping back a safe distance away from him, her cloak swirling madly as if fighting to shroud her in its darkness. "You certainly have an interesting selection of last words." As soon as her feet landed on the floor she thrust her arm forwards from her cloak and raised it up, the eye of the blue-eyes white dragon head glowed a bright red and two wings came together. Ancient Hieroglyphs glowed brightly as the wings connected, and finally the disk was brought to bear before her.
At the very least, Lumis had chosen a good nickname for her at this moment, for Darkness was exactly what she was becoming. "You are going to wish you'd never laid a finger on me, boy!" her voice was commanding, and as the last words rang from her lips, a strange wind blew against the two, sending her hood from her head and her blue hair began to whip against her face. "I'll be kind though....and let YOU decide who starts this massacre!" She laughed, the darkness very evident within it. People scrambled and screamed, running to get away from the storm that was brewing within the museum.

Lumis drew his first five cards, his kind eyes growing a fiery anger. For the first time in the longest time, Lumis had unleashed a part of him that not even Wiz had seen. His gaze pierced past the air between them and into her eyes. Concentration brewed from the depths of his mind and words left his mouth coolly and smoothly, an uneasy calm being emitted from his person.
"I'll let you lead. I'm not holding back and you'd be wise not to as well." His words had a certain sting behind them as he'd not even looked at his first hand, waiting for her to make the first move. He'd clenched the fist that wasn't holding his cards and it'd shaken lightly, as he'd tried to hold himself back. Wiz shivered on his shoulder and curled up into a defensive ball, as if trying to defend itself from the storm that was just beginning.

Kisa's blank, blue eyes didn't even flinch at his gaze, and she drew her first 5 cards. He wanted her to start first, and so she drew her next card, and the duel began. "I summon forth a warrior from the shadows to pave the way for my power. Armageddon Knight, show yourself!" A dark warrior appeared in front of her, quickly drawing his sword and resting it against his shoulder. "My knight comes with a special ability. When he is summoned to the field, i send one dark monster to the graveyard from my deck. And I choose Dark Grepher." The deck spit out a card and she threw it in the graveyard. "I will end my turn with that. Pray you obtain a winning hand...for you have yet to experience the power of the shadows! Now go!" She pointed at him with her free hand, her blue hair whipping against her face. If he were to think she were weak because of what he had seen, he would be gravely mistaken. She was purposefully holding back on this first move, purposely hiding the true nature of her deck until she had an offensive advantage. Then, he would witness her power....and she would make him bow before her as she had made numerous victims before him.

Darkness... it wasn't like her at all... and it seemed that she was starting slow. Also not like her at all. It was time to speed up the pace. He'd drawn his next card and got to work. "I'll Special Summon Cyber Dragon from my hand and then Normal Summon my Machina Peacekeeper." Cyber Dragon materialized on the field and Peacekeeper appeared behind it not long after. Both looked at Kisa coldly, their automated bodies whirring and humming lightly. "Cyber Dragon, attack that Armageddon Knight!" Energy gathered in Cyber Dragon's mouth and, once it had opened it up, a cybernetic flame had erupted into Armageddon Knight. And, like the Knight, Kisa's Life Points were burned away. But it wasn't over. "Peacekeeper, attack her directly!" The Peacekeeper's wheels began to turn, moving it at a high speed and into her, reducing more of her Life Points.
So far, so good. So it was time to finish up his turn by putting up his defense. "I'll set 2 S/Ts and activate Peacekeeper's effect!" Peacekeeper had taken itself apart and attached itself onto Cyber Dragon, wheels attaching to the sides and head placing itself protectively over Cyber Dragon's. "Peacekeeper is now equipped and will protect Cyber Dragon from being destroyed by anything once." Of course, Peacekeeper had an additional effect, but for now he would wait for her to get at him. "I'll end my turn there."

The attacks had no effect on Kisa herself, but her life point counter beeped as it dropped by 1200. She knew she would take damage, but now it was her turn. "DRAW!!! first, I special summon Vice Dragon from my hand! But he's not staying for long....i release him, removing him from play to special summon....." she slammed the card on a heiroglyph-covered zone. "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!" Shadows swirled before her and materialized into a huge black dragon with shiny areas from the metal that covered its body. It reared its head and let out a metallic scream, its eyes flashing red. "Now, i play the field spell, Magical Citadel of Endymion!" She was setting up for a future move, but for the moment, she would move forward. "Next i play Trade-In! By sending a level 8 monster from my hand to the graveyard, i can draw 2 cards! And i'm sending Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord from my hand!" She drew two cards and nodded slightly. Perfection. "I now have the power to summon forth another dragon.....Come to my aid....Dark Armed Dragon!" Another large black dragon in armor appeared next to Red-Eyes and it roared as it punched a mighty fist in challenge. Suddenly the union monster and the two face down traps Lumis had laid down were blown away, and Kisa removed her two warriors from the graveyard and placed them in her cloak. "Next, I play the spell card, Future Fusion! I send 5 dragons to the graveyard, and i select a fusion from my extra deck. In two turns, Five-Headed Dragon will appear....if i even give you a chance to see such a sight!" Kisa's deck spit out 5 cards into her waiting hand and she showed them in a fan to her opponent. All three of her Blue-Eyes White Dragons were there, along with a Van'Dalgyon, and a Vice Dragon. She made a bit of a disgusted face and winced directly after as she threw the cards into the graveyard. As the cards hit the grave, she gasped a bit as a sharp pain struck her chest. Then her head began to throb. Something.....wasn't right..... "I-I set one card face down." her voice faltered for a second, but as she continued to speak, she recovered, as if nothing had happened. "I activate my Red-Eyes special ability! I now revive one of my fallen dragons....and I choose......" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ((anything in between lines like this, Lumis can see)) Shadows gripped at her body, pulling her in several directions. Kisa screamed in fear and in pain, and suddenly the shadows seemed to work as one, some pulling, others pushing...but all heading into one direction: Towards the sarcophogas. She screamed for help, but the room had gone dark, and no one could hear her cries. She managed to get a hand free, and she instinctively thrust it to her duel disk on her other arm, and pulled a card, begging for assistance. The card shone bright and a majestic roar could be heard....... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Her hand paused for a second over her graveyard as she seemed to be battling a decision. It took only a second though, and she grabbed Van'Dalgyon. "Arise, my dragon lord....Dominate my opponent with your reigning powers of darkness!!" The dark dragon lord flew in from the grave, letting out a roar of authority. She smiled coldly as she viewed the field. Her opponent was now staring down 3 of her strongest monsters. "Go, Dark Armed Dragon! Attack his Cyber Dragon!" The attack landed and Cyber Dragon dissintegrated into fine dust. "Now go, my Dark Dragon Lord and my Red-Eyes.....attack him directly!!!" After the smoke cleared from the attacks, her opponent was left standing....with barely any life points....he'd just taken 6200 damage. "I end my turn. My next move will be your undoing....now GO!" With the destruction of Peacekeeper, he'd grabbed Machina Gearframe. It wasn't that he needed it, but it would be useful to have. Then, Lumis grasped his head as he saw the vision that was bestowed upon him. He'd breathed heavily as he'd tried to take in that information. What was that...? Is that what happened to Kisa...? Was this what she went though when she'd become a major archaeologist...? He couldn't believe it. This was what was haunting her... The Darkness... if he was there, could he protect her...? Could he have done anything...? At all...? No. Now wasn't the time to think about that. He'd drawn his next card to start his turn.
"I'll draw. Now then, I'll Normal Summon my Machina Gearframe!" As the card landed on his Duel Disk and started to form on the field, a Solemn Judgment was activated, lightning striking down upon the summon and negating it. This wouldn't stop this turn at all. He'd discarded Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon to Special Summon one of his greatest Monsters. "Come forth, Machina Fortress!" The large tank-like robot appeared on the field, seemingly armed and ready to face Kisa. But Lumis wasn't done yet. She'd had Blue-Eyes' in her Graveyard. He would have to remind her of where she came from and what she'd started with.
"I'll activate Monster Reborn now! Come forth... Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" From the grave, a large, majestic dragon had appeared. Lumis simply looked over at her and would proceed his turn. It was time to make a counterattack. "Blue-Eyes, attack that Dark Armed! Fortress, attack Red-Eyes!" Blue-Eyes decimated the Dark Armed Dragon with a blast of light. And Fortress charged forwards at Darkness Metal Dragon, only to get crushed by its foot. However, there was a large explosion, engulfing Red-Eyes inside of it as well. All she was left with was Van'dalgyon and all Lumis was left with was Blue-Eyes... Right now, he had nothing. He had to figure something out and fast.

Well well well, it looked like Lumis was finally going to put up a fight....He actually summoned a strong monster, even after she'd stopped his only normal summon for the turn. Interesting. Kisa kept a cold stare on her face, but inside she wanted to laugh. a 2500 attack monster against her whole horde of monsters. Bring it on.
Then he did something she didn't expect him to do.....he activated a spell card....Monster Reborn....and he summoned a monster from her grave......
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There had been a grand struggle. It was more like a duel, but this time, the monsters were real! The first card she'd drawn to fight the darkness had sparked the duel...and right now, she wasn't doing too hot. "I summon Elemental Hero Stratos! And i'll bring Defender into my hand! I set a trap, and i end my turn!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! YOU THINK YOUR HEROES CAN DEFEAT ME? I AM DARKNESS....I AM UNBEATABLE!!!!" No one could be seen....but the voice was strong, commanding, and earthshaking. "I SUMMON FORTH DARK ARMED DRAGON!"
"Not so fast! I activate Solemn Judgment! At the cost of half my life points, i can negate your summon! Try again!"
"HOW FUNNY....THE LITTLE MORTAL THINKS SHE'S ALL THAT! YOU ONLY DELAY THE INEVITABLE. IN MY NEXT TURN, YOU WILL LOSE. I PLAY CALL OF THE HAUNTED AND BRING BACK MY GORZ, EMISSARY OF DARKNESS! GO, GORZ, ATTACK HER PUNY LITTLE HERO!"
Kisa screamed in pain as gorz's bladed wrists slashed into Stratos, and right into her chest. It wasn't a hologram.....the blades were real. Her body was already bleeding an bruised, bones broken...and now a new stream of warm, red liquid began to soak her shirt. "M-my turn...." the distant roar from before could be heard as she drew her card. She had 200 life points left. This was her last chance. "I activate my Destiny Hero Dasher's effect from the grave...." She revealed her last drawn card. "Now I summon forth....my friend and ally....my savior of light.....the one....the only......BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON!!!!!"
Light shone somehow into the thick darkness and a great white dragon descended from the light. It rested itself directly in front of Kisa as if protecting her. It reared its majestic head and let out a loud, proud, challenging roar. Now the duel was on......
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He'd summoned her blue-eyes white dragon! Kisa yelped as its blinding light and deafening roar sounded were sounded and shined against her. Now the duel was on....
Her Red-Eyes and her Dark Armed Dragon were both destroyed, and soon, she was left with just her Dark Dragon Lord. "My turn." She drew her card, and growled, throwing it down in a trap/spell slot. The vertical card appeared behind her Van'Dalgyon. She felt the darkness within her taking over, and soon she couldn't control her own words. "Hahahahahaha! You think you can turn her by using her long lost dragon?! Foolish mortal.....you know nothing of the darkness within her.....hahahahahahahaha!" Her eyes began to glow and she pointed towards him. "Make your last move, mortal!"

Lumis was shown another vision. It was... overwhelming to say the least. The strings of his heart gave pangs throughout his body. More and more, he'd realized how useless he was. How he couldn't protect her. He was ashamed. And yet, at the same time, these thoughts shouldn't stop him from saving her. He'd clenched his teeth, holding back words that he didn't want to let out as he'd drawn his next card. It wasn't anything that could help in this situation... He'd set a Monster and switched Blue-Eyes to Defense Position.
"Blue-Eyes... Guide me to your master's salvation!" He could only hope that fighting against her own Blue-Eyes would be enough, though the possessing spirit clearly showed dominance in a rough situation like this. He had no idea what to do, either... Five-Headed Dragon was about to appear on the field and give him a run for his money. At this point... There was almost nothing Lumis could do to save Kisa...

A pathetic move, to say the least. Going on the defense already? Well who could blame him? After all....this turn was sure to be the game-winning turn. "I draw! Pray to whatever God you believe in....it won't save you from this next move! Future Fusion's countdown is complete! It's time to reign in this duel! From the pits of darkness, I summon thee! Ruler of ALL DRAGONS!!! Five-Headed Dragon!!!!" Kisa's eyes glowed even brighter and the wind really picked up in the museum. A dark portal appeared on the field and dark lightning flashed from its depths as a huge dragon with 5 heads raised from inside the portal. The dragon took up much more space than even the Blue-Eyes, and all 5 heads let out their own roars. That alone would be enough to send chills down any mortal's spine. But Kisa wasn't done yet. The darkness swirled around her, her hair whipping in the wind as she raised her last card.
"I play Dragon's Mirror!" And that could mean only one thing.......
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kisa's Blue-Eyes White Dragon would have totally obliterated the Gorz, sending it back to the depths of the darkness. But only laughter was heard as the attack froze. "NOW YOU HAVE SEALED YOUR DOOM!!!! I RELEASE GORZ AND SEND ONE CAIUS FROM MY HAND....TO SUMMON FORTH.....DARKNESS NEOSPHERE!!!!!!" The darkness laughed evilly as her dragon's attack bounced against the Neosphere's impenetrable attack......and the lightning deflected back at her....taking the remainder of her life points....
"NOW....YOU ARE MINE!!!! I SHALL DEVOUR YOUR SOUL AND YOU SHALL DIE A THOUSAND DEATHS, ALL THE WHILE YOU SHALL BE AT MY BECK AND CALL.....YOU....SHALL SERVE ME.....FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!!!!"
Shadows began to take over her body once more....but this time there was no fighting back. Her soul was taken, her body left to rot in the middle of the ancient tomb....on the floor, face-down, beside the sarcophagus....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Now prepare for imminent defeat! Arise......Five-Headed Dragon!!!!" She removed 2 Blue-Eyes, 1 Red-Eyes, 1 DAD, and 1 Vice Dragon....the last dragons in her grave. And now the room was filled with 11 different roars (including the roars from her Van'Dalgyon). Now he would suffer defeat.
"Five-Headed Dragon! Attack his weak dragon!" FGD bellowed in challenge and charged a beam for each head, then shot it towards Blue-Eyes....destroying it without giving it a chance. "Now, Van'Dalgyon....attack that face down monster!" Van'Dalgyon flew forward and smashed the defense monster into bits with its muscular fists. Now Lumis' life points were wide open.....
"You're lucky she didn't invoke a Shadow Duel, mortal! Now! Suffer defeat at her hands! GO! FIVE-HEADED DRAGON!!! ATTACK HIM DIRECTLY!!!!" another five-beam attack....hitting him with full force. This duel was over.
Kisa's eyes stopped glowing as the holograms faded. She seemed slumped a little in fatigue, but then quickly straightened herself. "I did warn you......" She spoke softly, still with that dark, cold edge in her voice. The words she spoke should be familiar to Lumis as they were the same words she'd spoken after their very first duel back in duel academy.
