Personality:
Hiroko is a tall girl with light blonde hair and vivid violet eyes.
Hiroko is an eccentric girl. She likes a lot of things that people don't, and it's not because she likes being a nonconformist. She legitimately has a very unusual viewpoint on things. She also has an uncommon level of intelligence and an unusual resistance to peer pressure. So, she develops an attachment to things that are often-times unconventional because she can see things that others frequently cannot.History:
She can occasionally lack tact, or exude a no-harm-meant kind of arrogance that is occasionally off-putting. Though it usually does not mean that Hiroko dislikes someone, she sometimes says things without regard for people's feelings or opinions. Occasionally, she can even be very blasphemous or heretical towards common beliefs.
Mostly, Hiroko keeps to herself. She is an introvert by nature, and it is sometimes hard for her to initiate conversations. Not because she doesn't have things to say, but because she doesn't have a way of formulating her thoughts into an introduction. She will happily close conversations, or continue carrying them, but she is hardly the best at approaching people and reaching out.
Hiroko was born into the nouveau riche. Her parents recently acquired great wealth through tremendously successful business ventures. As a result, they were a very powerful and influential family, but they lacked all the pomp and circumstance of the old world. Hiroko grew up in an environment of incredible opulence, but without any of the pretense.Status: Obelisk Blue
She was the youngest of three sisters, and her older sisters were both renowned duelists that quickly swept through the Pro Leagues, claiming an unbeatable record except for their titanic clashes with each other. Hiroko was not quite as ruthless as either of her older siblings, but she nonetheless inherited the same magic touch when it came to dueling. She can spin a deck better than almost anyone, and she sees plays in seconds when others need time and practice to visualize them.
After a life of private schools and nannies, Hiroko's parents decided it would be a good thing to send her to an academy where she could meet others. They ensured that Hiroko would get into Obelisk Blue, both through generous donations to the academy itself and through clout with the board of Directors and KaibaCorp executives. But they hardly needed to. When Hiroko sat her entrance exams, she passed with flying colors anyway, and would have easily earned her place.
At the academy, Hiroko quickly established a bit of a reputation as a eccentric rich girl. She is very generous with her funds, which appear to be limitless, including offering valuable gifts towards some of her friends. At times, she is completely unaware at how privileged her life was, such as her surprise that the students have to do laundry or reuse things. But overall, she made a pretty good adjustment to life at the academy.

"You live here?" Hiroko asked with a mixture of shock and bewilderment. The idea that someone would have to share a room the size of her closet was already a little mindboggling. The idea that they didn't have any maids or persons to clean up after them was even more so.Additional Information:
She stepped gingerly into the room, trying to avoid contact with the bags, books, and duel monsters cards strewn all over the floor. Some students were extremely messy -- Hiroko was hardly a clean freak herself -- but she did not understand how someone could live in such small conditions and make it worse by cluttering it further. She nearly tripped over a duel disk on the way towards the desk.
Without any desire to spend more time in the Slifer Red dormitory, Hiroko decided to propose an offer that she considered generous. Certain people may have taken offense to her offer to take things elsewhere, but she did not consider that possibility when she proposed things in her usual tactless way.
"How about we go to my room instead? It's a little more spacious."
Hiroko can see duel spirits. In fact, she has a very strong connection to the spirit world, which allows her to slip into the spirit realm during her dreams. She has a very tangible relationship with the spirits there, and it allows her to make friends with the cards in her deck. Her connection with her spirits is very real, and she is a strong duelist largely because of her this.
She does not specialize in a deck type, which is both an unusual characteristic and a source of strength. Hiroko can run a dozen different decks at a time, though she usually chooses one to focus on at any given moment. However, she understands the plays available and the way to play almost any of the decks out there, and she is considered an one of the finest deck builders anywhere, and is renowned as a prodigy in that regard. Most people consider her a fine in-game duelist, since she can make the right play most of the time, but she really shines brightest before the duels themselves.
