DJ had decided to take a walk around the academy grounds to clear his head. There were a lot of small problems addressing him lately, mostly just getting things ready for classes and preparing his deck and other things like that, nothing too big and nothing he couldn't handle. However it was still nice to take a leisurely stroll every now and then, especially when the academy had such beautiful scenery. He sometimes neglected checking out around the academy due to staying home to work often, which was somewhat understandable given the strange people he ran into the times when he did get out.
As he did a bit of sighseeing, he found himself tracing the shoreline with his steps until he finally came across the pier he had crossed when first becoming a student at the academy. Perhaps purely for sentimental reasons, he decided to walk to the end, hanging his feet over the side as he watched the sun set across the water, truly a beautiful sight. He didn't say much of anything as he gazed around, occasionally fiddling with his cards of blazer, but mostly just looking across the ocean and enjoying the lovely view, smiling to himself warmly.

There was a lot of weird things about arriving at this time of year. For the first of all, it was still hot. The heat didn't really suit Minagi, it got underneath her skin much like a bad parasite. She still walked out during the summer. It was more then could be said for her fellow basement lurker kinsmen. She actually could get out into the great wide world. She liked to do that even. She could commonly be seen on her iPhone on the internet that way. She liked the touch screen keyboard.
It was what she was doing now. She was walking down the pier with her bright pink hair bouncing behind her. But that wasn't the only thing bouncing. Those things could be left up to the imagination to discover. She was tapping away on her iPhone and not really paying attention to where she was going. Where was she going? Only DJ could identify!
OOC: Fun little game, you decide what's ahead of me because I can't decide! Am I about to fall off the dock? Aren't I? What's going to happen!

DJ may have been the one to identify where Minagi was going, but Margaret was the one to feel it. Since the techie Slifer was looking at her phone and not her surroundings, she ended up stepping right into a blonde student admiring the horizon line in silence, letting the wind weave its way through her mind and spirit. That is, until Minagi ran into her, disrupting the ra girl's already delicate balance.
"Woah...WOAH!" The girl was waving her arms like crazy in a circlular motion, doing whatever she could to not fall into the water. Despite how hot it was, gettng that cold would not be of any use to her. It took a while, but she eventually was somehow able to not let her center of gravity get too low. She did, however, look like a total idiot.
"I'm okay! I...think..."

DJ wasn't really paying attention to anything as he gazed off into the horizon. This gave him quite a surprise when not one but two girls appeared beside him on the egde of the pier. The one seemed not to be paying attention like he was as she almost walked off into the water, the other seemed to be acting as a human bumper for her. Without thinking, DJ sprung into action for no apparent, reason, standing up and reaching his hands over the water behind the girl to catch her in case she really did fall into the water.
He gave a sigh of relief as the girl caught herself and said she was alright. He leaned back, trying to readjust his wait from leaning out when he himself almost fell into the water, slipping one foot off the edge. His hand reached out and grabbed onto a pole that was used to tie smaller boats to the pier, swinging around on it as both his feet actually left the dock, only to meet it again as he swung to the other side of the pole, sighing in relief again. It felt like a three stooges routine, three people almost fell off the dock without an intention of doing so.
He looked back towards both girls, raising an eyeborw. "We really have to be more careful." He chuckled lightly, a bit ironic since he was naturally clusmy and the closest one to actually falling off the pier. "Everyone alright, anything broken?" He blushed lightly as he finally got a good look at the two attractive girls, meek as always around the opposite sex. However this was somewhat blocked by the adrenaline from the previous experience. He wondered if the first girl even knew what was going on.

It was the commotion that had made her look up from the iPhone. It was also that commotion that made her flush a bright red. She looked much like a rose in full bloom. A red rose. So her face looked more like a beet if the speech wasn't pretty. She quickly pocketed her iPhone. Her hands reached out to catch the other two should they accidentally fall. She looked severely apologetic.
"I. Am. SO SORRY!" The voice was higher then it really should've been for a woman her size. It could have been that her voice was being shot higher in her surprise. It almost sounded as if her voice was strained. She kept her hands extended in case they went over once again. Or at least if they almost did.
She felt so bad. She had nearly knocked all of them over just by being a ditz with her head in machinery.

Margaret looked up at the boy who saved her and the girl who had caused the incident in the first place, her mind locking their images in her memory.
The boy was a Ra Yellow, like herself, and seemed to have either incredible luck or great balance as she swung around the pole to stay dry. it was really cute how he pulled it off, and she couldn't help but giggle. He might be someone to get to know better. "Lemme check...nope! I'm fine!" The girl said, after waving her arms and legs to check for breaks.
As for the girl...she was obviously intelligent, she wouldn't be fiddling around on an iphone without that. But still she was in Slifer...either she wanted to start in the bottom, or maybe her dueling didn't reflect her intelligence. As handsonme as the Ra boy was...this girl was even hotter. If she could get up into the yellow dorm; she'd jump at the chance to be her room mate. Of course since she hadn't met many other students, she'd keep her emotions in check for now...never know when a goddess would show up out of nowhere to sweep her off her feet.
"Oh, it's okay...all's well that ends well, right? I'm Margaret, by the way."

DJ nodded, happy they both seemed okay whether they said so or not. It was after this that he checked himself for other damages, finding none except for a light scare. He chucled to himself, it truly was an odd situation, but he seemed to have a knack for finding those. "Good to hear." He smirked. He'd met a few odd characters while here, but these people seemed to be fairly normal whereas the circumstances were odd, which gave him a tiny bit of relief to know.
"Yeah, don't worry about it. Accidents happen, especially when I'm around for some strange reason..." He smiled, blushing as he watched the unnamed girl's face turn a similar color to her hair. It really was adorable, though he couldn't stop the same reaction from himself. He tried to shake it off as he composed himself and turned to the other girl. "Nice to meet you Margaret, my name's DJ." He smiled warmly, giving a light bow for the two lovely ladies, an embarassed and not a very elegant one but the heart was there.

"That's nice...and you are?" Margaret was slightly dissapointed that the ra student had seemed to almost completely ignored her; but by the same token there had to be plenty more duelists around...she'd find one that clicked with her senses...eventually.

"Minagi Furuda. Sorry about that again." The pink haired maiden was paying attention to the both of them. After all, she did extend hands to both of them. She crossed her arms over her wrists. It was comfortable that way. It would also create a hap-hazard triangle. A triangle without a bottom. It was quaint.
"I wouldn't call this an accident DJ but an oppurtuinity! Look on the bright side!" Minagi chirped. She beamed at the both of them.

DJ nodded and laughed a little again, looking at the both of them. It was true, this certainly was an interesting oppurtunity of sorts. He managed to meet two beautiful women that he hoped he would be able to become friends with. He rose from his bow and gave a warm smile. "I suppose it is Ms. Minagi, after all I got to meet the both of you." He honestly wasn't expecting such a routine walk of leisure to turn into something like this. Sometimes his knack for getting into odd situations was a good thing after all.
He glanced back at the sunset he had been admiring before the incident as it bathed the pier in a beautiful orange which he couldn't help but admire. He turned back to Margaret and Minagi, smiling again. "So what brings you ladies to the pier at this time of day? Just out to admire the view?" He chuckled, that's certainly why he was here. He felt an odd chill as a gust of wind rattled against him and clutched his blazer lightly, shivering. He wasn't the type to avoid showing when he was effected by something, some found it adorable and some found it pathetic, DJ was an aquired taste.
He looked over to Margaret. "Are you new here? I don't believe I've seen you around the Ra dorm, though that may just be me not paying attention again." He laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his head. Usually when he didn't know a girl his neighbor Mizuki would tell him, she seemd to know everything but since she was away for a while he was unaware of some of the students and completely oblivious to the newer people. Though DJ was oblivious about a lot of things.

"Yeah I'm new. Figured I'd stretch my legs...didn't know I'd be part of a physics experiment though!" She was of course referring to her (rather fortunate) ability to not let her center of gravity get too far out. It wasn't necessarily the most tactful comment to make, but by the same token from her upbringing, tact was mostly used to make idiots feel better about themselves.
Neither of these two appeared to be idiots, so she told it straight. It was kinda how she operated.

"Well then, nice to meet you and welcome to the Ra dorm." DJ smiled warmly and extended a friendly hand. "Sorry about the other part though, can't say I was exactly expecting that part either." He rubbed the back of his head nervously with his other hand. "I've been here a little bit myself, it does take some time to get used to but it's pretty nice there too." He kept an eye on both girls, starting to realize the random chance that he had stumbled into meeting two new friends.
He vaguely remembered why he had come out here, it was odd how the most tame reasons for outings yielded the strangest encounters. Oh well, this still wasn't as strange as the time in the infirmary with the hot nurse with minty breath. These people seemed a great deal more normal, and that made him feel at ease a bit. By now the orange color of the sunset had gotten darker as it continued. "It's nice to talk a walk around here every now and then, the scenery can be quite lovely at times." He gave a light smile.

"I can see why...it's breathtaking out here!" The sun was starting to set, the orange glow radiating off the water. The wind was softly whirling about the place, coming in warmly from the ocean. It was majestic, almost entrancing as Margaret sighed.
"So...DJ...you think we could talk about some stuff during dinner? I wanna get the lowdown on this place..." What exactly Margaret was planning was a mystery to everyone except her, but it didn't really mean much...did it?

"Yeah, that's why all my favorite spots around the academy are near the ocean." DJ smiled warmly to Margaret. "I love the way light around here hits the water and the atmosphere is just fantastic." He giggled lightly, enjoying himself quite a bit.
His thoughts stopped at her next statement, dinner? Together? Like one of those things he had never been to and the word escaped him at the moment? A blush immediately crossed his face as he wondered as to her intentions. He calmed down a bit once his brain started working and he realized they were in the same dorm and would probably be eating together anyway. However a light blush remained across his face as he nodded, listening to her carefully.
"Sure, it'd be my pleasure to help." He gave a warm smile, he'd been here a little while and while still a bit ignorant he knew some of the ropes around the academy. "No problem, shouldn't be too hard to give a little info on the people and places around here." He grinned nervously. He couldn't help being a bit embarassed about the whole situation with the two girls, it was just how he was.

"Tee hee..." Maragret couldn't help but giggle as she saw DJ's face light up. She could tell her last remark had hit him unexpectedly, and even if he figured out what she intended by it, she wanted to taunt the poor boy a little more. Her voice turned warm, almost angelic as she put a hand on the boy's cheek.
"You know...if you wanted to be all touchy-feely with me, you could have chosen a more private location!" While DJ hadn't touched her or even made any effort to do so, the very idea of it owuld certainly make his head spin. Adding to that fact was Margaret raised her voice enough so that anyone else on the pier (especially minagi) would be in earshot.
Despite the fact that her dorm mate might never live this down, the girl was doing this for no other reason than her own amusement. With any luck he would forgive her when she finally apologized...but that would be after she'd finished having fun with him.
