Welcome to Duelist Legacies. You may be asking yourself, "What is your forum about?" Well, Duelist Legacies is an alternate universe Yu-Gi-Oh GX forum. This means that you are at the Duel Academy, but none of the characters from the show ever existed. This is where you can write your own character's story, not the stories of the characters of the show.
To provide some background on Duelist Legacies creation, it was created by a group of people from a well-to-do Yu-Gi-Oh GX forum who decided that they wanted more roleplay. Thus, the staff here are inviting and caring people who are here to help you. Don't be too shy now!
Plot
December 2009
Welcome to your first semester at Duel Academy. Students are required to attend classes at their designated times. It's a time of prosperity for the school and a time for new students to display their talents. It is an alternate world, with no Slifer Slacker Judai Yuuki to bring down the competition. Just you, your deck, and a lot of talent.
The Spirit Festival is going on right now, the time when the barrier between the Spirit World and the Human World is the thinnest. The spirits have taken on a solid form, and are here to celebrate the holidays with humankind.

Character Plots (3 sub-boards) Here you may state everything about your character from a character journal to character relationships with other characters. This is not mandatory. Moderator: Duel Academy
Island Edge (3 sub-boards) Here at the island's edge is the oceanside. The view is usually quite beautiful, especially when the sun is on the horizon. Moderator: Duel Academy
Island Grounds (5 sub-boards) The general grounds are full of different scenic places to go, such as the forest and the mountains. Moderator: Duel Academy
Spirit Festival (1 sub-board) During the month of good cheer, Fate delivers that the barrier between the Spirit Realm and the Earth Realm is the thinnest. Main Building (4 sub-boards) Here in the main building, your entrance to the school awaits you. Students will sometimes use this as their hangout rather then the courtyard, especially in the cold winter months. Moderator: Duel Academy
Classrooms (5 sub-boards) Here are the classrooms to learn. All students are required to sign up on the roster for the class the student wishes to attend. Moderator: Duel Academy
Slifer Red (14 sub-boards) Here is the ruined dorm of the campus. Slackers and those who did poorly are placed in this dorm, and the tradition of them having barely adequate living conditions still stands to this day. It is motivation to do better. Moderator: Duel Academy
Ra Yellow (19 sub-boards) Here are the intermediate students of the Academy, the ones who did reasonably well on their entrance exams. They live a very simplistic lifestyle. Moderator: Duel Academy
Obelisk Blue (6 sub-boards) The Obelisks are the royalty of the campus, and the ones who did the best on their exams or worked their way up to the top, with the best of living conditions as well. Moderator: Duel Academy
Residential District (4 sub-boards) Here is the residential district for those living in Domino City. Applications for your own 'house' rest inside. Moderator: Duel Academy
Recreational District (6 sub-boards) Here rests the little shops, the park, and other such little things that don't belong in the industrial district. Moderator: Duel Academy
