With three Nimble Momonga's on the field, she could get her life points to 11000. At least, with spells and traps on the field, she wouldn't be able to activate Treeborn Frog's effect, and now he didn't have to worry about any chains since both of her facedown cards were now face-up. With her monsters in defense mode, only effects or direct attacks would lower her points.Currently, he didn't have anything that could pull something like that off.
Jaeger drew. Awesome. "I set one monster in defense mode, and then place one card on the backfield. Then Warwolf attacks Treeborn Frog!" The werewolf went at the frog, sword ready for the attack. "And thanks to Warwolf's effect, you can't activate your Ultimate Offering during my Battle Phase." There would be no saving little Treeborn this turn. "After that, I end my turn."

Arche just watched as Treeborn was sent to the graveyard, unable to do anything to stop it. Heck, if she had anything for it, it would have been used before now. Quickly, hse just drew her card as her turn came, smirking as she saw her card. Hydrogeddon. Quickly, she slapped the card down and saying, "I summon Hydrogeddon! Attack mode!" The hydrogen beast appeared with a cry, quickly settling it's sights on the Pitch-Black Warwolf on the other side of the field. "I'll also set all of my monsters into attack mode!" The three nimble momongas all quickly appeared as monsters posed to attack. "Now Hydrogeddon attacks Warwolf!" The two monsters were quick to clash, ending up destroying one another in a tie.
However, as the card's image shattered, Arche just declared, "Hydrogeddon's effect activates! When he destroys a monster in battle, I can summon another from my deck!" Soon, the card's image was replaced... with another one of the dinasaur monsters. "Attack the facedown!" The newly summoned monster quickly struck out at the first monster hidden from view. However, the skeleton it hid deflected some of the blast, striking her for 400 LP. Dang it! It's defense was higher! Not about to give up, she quickly declared, "Alright, I'll attack your last facedown with Nimble Momonga!" It was destroyed easilly enough... although another came up. Annoyed, Arche attacked again, destroying yet another... and a final one came to the chopping block, erasing Arche's attacking chances. Oh come on!
As the battle phase ended, she just sighed, playing a spell card. "I'm not done yet! Go, Lightning Vortex!" The card's image appeared, crackling with electricity. "By discarding a card, I can destroy all your face-up monsters!" The card was quick to do what it said it would, bolts of energy piercing the undead monster and making it's image shatter. However, in return, a strange gale pierced through her Call of the Haunted, destroying it. The Nimble Momonga, having remained on the field because of it, cried out in pain once before it vanished. Arche just grunted, annoyed, and said, "Well... I end my turn."

His Warwolf and Hyenas were destroyed, but Jaeger wasn't going down without a fight. His Skull Dog proved to be a good defense, and his Hyenas, while not staying on the field for too long, had at least kept her busy enough for the time being. And thanks to his Mystical Space Typhoon, she was one Nimble Momonga short by the end of her turn. It wouldn't do much, but one less monster was one less worry.
He drew, pleased with the card that was added to his hand. Jaeger couldn't summon any monsters this turn, and that left his field wide open for a direct attack. As long as she didn't summon any monsters, he would only receive 3600 points of damage. Well, this certainly wasn't good. By his next turn, he would be down at least half of his life points. If she hadn't used that Lightning Vortex, he would have at least still had his Skull Dog.
"I place one card facedown, and end my turn." Not many duelists would let an opportunity for a direct attack slide right by them, and she didn't seem like the type to allow it.

Arche just smirked as the boy seemed to give up, leaving his facedowns. this was a concerning choice... What was she going to do with all of this? too much stuff. that could go wrong. On one hand, it could be a bluff meant to deter her from attacking... Still, this was a big chance, could she let this slip by? She could put a bid dent in her opponent's LP. Eventually, she just said, Screw it. and quickly made her attacks. "Everyone, go!" A blast of hydrogen and two clawings later, the opponet was 3600 LP poorer. But... no facedowns activated. Weird... I can only guess they're for later.

Jaeger knew he was open for attack. It was a dangerous situation to be standing in, and she took the opportunity. He was 3600 life points down, but he wasn't out yet. "My draw." The Slifer drew from his deck, only a bit disappointed in his card. It would come in handy, but it wouldn't help the fact that he had three monsters staring him down, and one more attack like the one he had received earlier would put him at a serious disadvantage.
"I place one card facedown, and end."
He was prepared, though. He would last another turn. After his opponent drew and during her standby phase, Jaeger would activate the trap he had laid. Threatening Roar. With this card on the field, she wouldn't be able to attack during her turn. It saved him for one more turn. Hopefully he could make a comeback during that time.

Arche's smirk vanished after she drew and endered the standby phase, instantly assulted by a wave of sound. All of her monsters fell back just as quickly, the girl groaning. Not good. Unable to do much else, she just said, "Fine... Guess I can't do anything this turn. Go ahead." Yeah... Not like she could really do that much. might as well let him get another turn, considering she couldn't stop it...

One more turn. He had managed that. Her turn ended, and Threatening Roar was went to the graveyard. Now, it all came down to this draw. Odd, and kind of sad, how most duels could be changed with the draw of one card. Jaeger wasn't about to complain after what he had just drawn. It would save his ass.
"I summon Wolf Axwielder in attack mode!" There was a 50 point difference between Jaeger's Wolf Axwielder and her Hydrogeddon, but it was in his favor. Without any facedowns, he wouldn't have to worry about chains, too. It wouldn't be worth it to attack a Nimble Momonga. Her life points would still only increase. That left one other option. "Wolf Axwielder attacks your Hydrogeddon!"
The beast-warrior went at the dinosaur, the ax in it's paw held high and coming down for an attack on the other monster. Only 50 points of damage, but at least it was something. "With that, I end."

The girl just grunted when her monster was destroyed. Hey, it was only 50 damage, no big deal. Yeah, no big deal. She was just minus one of her strongest monsters. She could bounce back from that... Not really. Great... I only have one more in the deck. The other two are gone and I don't have anything to replace it either. Let's hope this draw works for me... She took that draw quickly, not showing any change in emotion... Well, this would buy her a turn. Quickly, she set the card, ending her turn promptly. But as he started his turn, right at his standby phase, she would activate that card, thratening Roar, stalling for another turn or at least trying to. That's all she could do until she got one of the few cards that could stand up to this.

No summon and only a facedown to end her turn? Apparently his Wolf Axwielder had done wonders for him. Though, a trap had been activated after his draw. So, she had a Threatening Roar card, too. Oh well. Just because he couldn't attack, doesn't mean he couldn't summon. "I summon Pitch-Black Warwolf in attack mode. I'll end my turn there." Two monsters with 1600 attack or over on his side of the field, and, currently, she had two Nimble Momonga's. This seemed too good to be true.

Arche sighed as she looked at her hand. This was pathetic... She had some good cards, yeah, but at this rate, she wasn't going to be able to use them. She needed a miracle draw... and as she picked up her card, the expression showed it probably wasn't it. So she just said, "I'll switch my monsters to defense mode. Turn end." and she just sighed. When could she get a break...?

Her luck didn't seem to be doing so well, and he was free to attack now. Jaeger had been waiting for a chance to get two monsters on his side of the field. It would help him out well. She had no idea what sort of plan he had in mind. Jaeger drew, setting the card he had drawn into his hand and selecting a different one. "I'll start by tributing my Warwolf and Axwielder to summon Behemoth the King of All Animals in attack mode!" The beast monster took the field, replacing the two that had been there before. It was a great deal stronger than the Momonga's on the field. "And, when my Behemoth is Tribute Summoned successfully, I can return from the graveyard to my hand a number of beast-type monsters that equal however many monsters I tributed. Since I tributed two, I can bring Skull Dog Marron and Hyena back to my hand.
"That's not all, though. I'll play Forest, increasing my beast's attack and defense by 200! After that, I'll activate Beast Fangs, increasing his attack by another 300 points!" His Behemoth was standing at 3200 attack points now, and Jaeger still wasn't ready to launch an attack. The powering up of his monster had a reason, and now was the time to show it. "Now, I activate Roaring Earth! With this, whenever a beast-type monster of mine attacks a defense position monster, the difference is taken out of your life points. Not only that, but whatever monster I chose to attack loses 300 attack and defense points, so your Momonga's 100 defense points don't mean much now.
"Go, Behemoth! Attack one of the Nimble Momonga's!" There would be little stopping this giant beast of a creature as it went for one of the little monsters. Even with the 1000 life point boost the effect gave her, there would still be 2200 points of damage. This duel was beginning to move in his favor. "And I'll end there."

Arche just grunted as the attack hit, feeling the pain, although it was negated slighlty thanks to Nimble Momonga. Good thing for that. Still standing, she just smirked, knowing this wasn't ending just yet. She drew, frowned at the result, and just placed the card in facedown defence mode. "End turn." she said, knowing there wasn't a point in prolonging it any mor with useless moves. There was really only one card that could turn this around...

He had her on the run. Defense position monsters wouldn't stand against his beast monsters for long, and as long as Roaring Earth was on the field, damage would continue to come out of her points. It effected all beast monsters he controlled, not just one. And thanks to Behemoth, he had two new beast monsters in his hand. "I'll summon Skull Dog Marron in attack mode." It wasn't that strong of a summon, only having 1550 attack thanks to the addition of Forest, but hopefully it would still be enough to take care of that facedown.
"Now, Behemoth attacks the remaining Momonga!" With this, he would be in the leave her with 1100 points of damage after Momonga's effect was taken into consideration. "And my Skull Dog attacks your facedown." The skeleton dog had destroyed the Cobra Jar that had been on the field, inflicting 1550 more points of damage to the new girl. Roaring Earth, a beast duelist's best friend. Unfortunately, Cobra Jar's effect summoned two Venomous Snake tokens on her side of the field. Those would prove to be a pain in the ass once they were destroyed.
