Emma peeked at the card that she has chosen, and decided to have a little fun at the expense of Robert. She stated calmly, "I have 10 different monsters in this deck. Their attributes are the following: 2 are water, 4 are dark, 1 is light, 1 is wind, 1 is fire, and 1 is earth." Grinning a little sadistically, she asked him in somewhat of a playful manner, "So, how did you think you did?"

Robert, noticing that she was playing games replied "To be honest, not too well." "I knew it would be a coin toss, six attributes and access to three. That, and I didn't see much of your deck. So I don't think I did too well." He actually sighed with this, he could tell he was getting shot down. Oh well, at least he got it off his chest before the explosion could get major.

Observing his reaction, Emma decided to have a little more fun with this before the ultimate revelation. Then, she said the following as casually as possible, "I will give you a hint, I choose a Non-Tuner Spellcaster monster. Not that it will mean anything, other than the fact that I didn't choose Sacred Phoenix, Night's End, and Frequency Magician." If he knows his attributes enough, he would know that the attributes fire and light are completely eliminated, which means that he was down to 2 cards if he was to get it right.

Robert, hanging he head low, two of his choice were bad ones. "Looks like I got it wrong. Oh well, it was fun dueling with you." He said, though he wasn't phased by such a thought, as he had let it out quickly. Had he held it in, it would have hurt. He knows this from past experience. But hey, at least she was willing to take a chance, right?

Now, it's time for this little game to come to an end, as she revealed the bottom half of the card. And the effect is the following: 'You can Tribute this card and 1 other monster to Special Summon 1 "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" from your hand or deck.' Emma grinned and asked Robert, "Pop-Quiz, what's this card and what's its attribute?"

When he had heard the pop quiz, his mood had suddenly brightened. "So I was right about the third attribute! Its Hand of Nephthys, a Wind Spellcaster, level 2!" He was right, was going on a date with a cute girl, and a good duelist. And if she wanted any training, he'd be happy to offer it.

She is finding it quite amusing when his face just lit up like that when he found out that he was right. Was this really this important to him? Quite frankly, Emma had never been on a date before, so she doesn't quite know what the fuss it about. Still though, a new experience can hardly hurt, and she did promise her cousin to make a couple of friends. Laughing quietly to herself, she stated, "Well, you are a lucky person, to say the least. And thanks to your luck, you won a date."

His face lit up mostly because he was actually right on something he had thought would go awry. Looking at the cute Emma Gale, he responded "Yes, I do have my luck to thank. And where would you like to go for our date, and when would you like to go?" he asked considerately. He wanted to make this date worth her while, that way he might have success with the cute girl. Hopefully this would turn out to be a great experience for the two of them.

Emma was taking by surprise by that question. Where would she like to go? She wasn't sure, to be honest. So far, all she has done is to try and improve her dueling skills and chase after her cousin, and so, she really haven't thought of any place she would like to go. She looked at him and plainly said, "Well, no preference, so you can decide."

Robert, taking a second to think about where he would like to take her decided to start off on a simple note. He had been around Domino City after his exam. He knew of a few spots to go, and he would do something simple first, but hopefully escalate to some of the more interesting spots he had found. "Want to catch dinner at a restaurant?" he asked, first thing that came to his mind.

"Very well, sounds good." Well, now that she has accepted, there is no turning back now. Let's just hope that this is going to be a pleasant experience. But for now, Emma just wanted to take it easy in her room and maybe organize her decks a little. Standing up, she looked at Robert and continued, "Let's call this a day, and call me when you got a good time, all right?" Now, another question has arised, how formal would this date be? Well, thinking isn't going to bring about any answers, so she decided to just ask when he phones her.

Robert, nodding in response said "Alright, I'll call you when I find a good time." For him, this was the true victory. Winning a date with Ms. Gale was great indeed, and this was indeed his first date. But he had a plan, but it was far from a rigid plan. Hell, he found a few locations to be serene, and would surprise her with them. Hopefully this would work in his favor.
